Look great on my V-Star 1100 Classic. Fits the lines of the bike well. Haven't ridden with them on yet. My only beef is that the "specific fit" part was an issue. The spacers provided that were supposed to fit into some recessed holes were too big for the hole in the chrome piece on the fender and the provided screws were too long. My solution was to run to the local hardware store and purchase new chrome spacers with a smaller radius and shorter screws. Once we had the right parts, installation was pretty easy with the help of an extra set of hands.

The bags are good quality. Everything else is JUNK!! None of the brakets lined up right. They are not specific fit at all. I had to spend an extra hundred dollars on bolts and a turn signal re-location kit because the one the comes with it is JUNK and doesnt fit. I would never recomend this product to any one unless you want to cobble it up to get by. Spend the extra money and buy a different brand up front that fits. I have sent emails to mototcyle super store and have yet not to get one reply on my complant. So customer service is NOT there first priority.

I tried to get this to fit every which way I could! The stock seat is too wide for this set to fit properly. Since it’s a specific fit saddlebag, the holes are predrilled and the hardware is sized to fit the front two bolts on the fender rail (10mm & 8mm). That pushed the front corner of the bag right on the seat sticking out about 3 inches. I couldn't drill new holes because this model has the shock cutaway and the front hole would have had to be all the way forward in the indent area. I would have also had to hunt down new hardware, and that defeats the whole purpose! I also noticed that the helmet lock on the left interferes with the bag brackets included. I would have taken it off, but that was the least of my worries.

There is nothing specific about the fit except that there are two holes in the proper location on the bags the directions are very confusing. The supports are too short. The directional relocation kit was a nice idea but swivels up and down after properly mounting. The bolts were too short for the bag supports. There were not enough spacers to clear the swing arm. If you take the bags off it looks like Rube Goldburg could have done a better job of mounting. The bags sag after you ride a couple thousand miles with something in them. The top open from the side not front to back like the description. I just completed an 18 day 8000 mile trip and will try to return them if I can.
