Bought a NEW UNIT from Superstore and it looked used as received. Installed it and bike would not start. Contacted Power commander in Las Vegas and they told me to send it to them or back to Superstore. Received a NEW UNIT in 4 days, installed it and worked Perfect.

After contacting customer support with Dynojet, I was able to load up a map that fit my bike almost to the tee. Reset idle settings and the bike performs like I wanted. It might burn a bit more gas but that's how I like to ride.

I needed this for my ninja 650R after bought a new exhaust. It stopped the popping I was experiencing. The issue I had was that the pictures kind of sucked and the price was not a good deal. I saw at Cycle center that they had the same power commander for over 70$ less. So I feel like a fool when I had just installed it and was amazed that I could have saved... my loss, but otherwise the computer programming wasn’t hard to upload and changing the fuel flow takes 20seconds.

Installation was straight-forward, but I took my time and did not use the included 'vampire' clips. I recommend soldering 'pigtails' instead. Very easy to download existing maps or tweak your own and send to bike. Map changes make a performance difference but are sometimes a bit more subtle than I expect. It is really cool to be able to hook up my laptop to my motorcycle and this is a great product- if nothing else to be able to tinker!

Super easy to install. This was on a 04 GSXR 1000. Downloaded a custom MAP from Brock's performance and what a difference it made in my bike! For those of you thinking about installing one of these to gain anything from just adding a slip-on don't waste your $, you'll see NO benefit! But if you installed a complete aftermarket exhaust this is a must. Pay no attention to the MAPPING Dynojet offers and get your own custom map designed especially for your bike and set-up. Dynojet maps are a WASTE!

I installed the PC III using map 01, which is recommended for use with stock exhaust and stock or modified intake. It did not noticeably increase the bike performance - it simply changed the throttle response. Next I tried map 02 and then the bike ran a lot stronger. I suggest that you experiment with different maps. It is very easy to change if you don't like the way it runs. Don't believe the "experts" - you don't need an aftermarket exhaust system to benefit from installing a Power Commander.

Easy 30 minute install. Finding the connectors took the longest. The software downloaded in no time and I was on my way. As for fuel mileage, it is actually better.
