Install was pretty easy, directions were so-so. Connector wire quality seems wimpy at best and much of the wire is not covered with any protective sleeving. Overall quality seems low. Product does work as advertised though with engine much smoother and better performance. Can't comment on mileage loss yet. If it lasts it is a fair deal, but quality has me nervous.

So far I have a lot more power, no more lugging and run a little better. I have noticed my gas consumption has been double since I put it on. Hopefully I can get it set right to where the gas mileage gets better. I left the house with a 77 mile range. I rode 27 miles and the gas light came on and said I had a 9 mile range. If that continues ill have to take it off and find a better fuel processor.

I put this on my 2006 Road King Classic. I had back firing from installing fishtails and K & N filter this stopped immediately and only took 30 minutes to install.
works great

This was very easy to install and seems to work as advertised. I had a little popping after putting on my Cobra Drags and it made sense to me to use a complimentary tuner to take care of it. It's pretty much plug-n-play; I didn't adjust any of the pots though the instructions included make it pretty clear how to do that if I decide to in the future. Can't really say how much if any, power gains I've gotten but the popping has definitely decreased.

Bought this thinking that's all I needed to correct my loss of fuel mileage, once I bought on the Cobra slash down pipes. WRONG hasn't done a thing for it I basically have to turn 3 of the 4 setting off so I can get 25 mpg. I'm gonna have to take my bike and get it re-mapped .So i wasted the money I spent on this product!

The install on my V-Star 1300 was fairly easy. I have Roadburner pipes with added baffles. I was getting a lot of exhaust contraction after the bike was shut down as well as some popping on deceleration. While I don't have temperature readings before and after, the reduced amount of cracking noise in the pipes after the bike is shut off tells me the Fi2000 reduced head temperature. No more popping on deceleration. After several tanks of gas I noted no appreciable change in fuel mileage.
Love this product!

Installation was quick and easy following the included instructions. About 40-45 minutes on my 2008 Harley-Davidson FLHTCU. She started right up and unlike before, she didn't surge while warming up. Got out on the road and the difference in power was immediately noticeable. Found an area to get on it hard from a start and almost pulled the front wheel off the road! I LOVE this fuel processor! It made my bike a power house!
Definite performance improvement but be prepared to give up some gas mileage

The Fi2000 was fairly easy to install on my V-Star 950 by using a few choice French words. Combined with a Cobra slip-on muffler and K&N air filter it does make a difference in throttle response and overall power using the factory default settings. However, gas mileage suffered a 10-15% loss. Maybe because the better sound and performance makes me inclined to roll it on a bit harder...
I love my bike again!

Last summer, after only drilling out the baffles in my stock mufflers (2006 Dyna Street Bob) to make the bike a bit louder/more aggressive, I began noticing “knocking” when accelerating without downshifting. This of course is potentially very damaging. Additionally, I noticed A LOT of heat being generated by the engine, especially noticeable when sitting in traffic, or at stop lights, etc.
I read a lot about this during the winter, and realized that I was running lean. I compared the various products available to correct this problem, and ultimately decided to try the Cobra unit as it had good reviews and appeared to be essentially “plug and play”. After a careful install (getting access to the injector plugs was probably the biggest hassle), I buttoned everything up and went for a ride - I also installed a K&N Hi-Flow filter (the bigger one) since I had to remove the air cleaner assembly anyway.
HOLY CR@P - WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It feels like a totally different bike! Wicked acceleration at any RPM, deep, throaty sound, NO pinging, cooler running, yet NO nasty rich fuel smell coming out of the exhaust (like with my old modified fuel-injected Mustang).
In summary, if you don’t have the time to spend downloading data, modifying, tuning, etc., and just want something “plug and play” this product will not disappoint!

I got 2009 Dyna Street Bob with the Vance and Hines Straightshots Slip-On Mufflers and Screamin' Eagle Stage I Air Cleaner Kit. The Fi2000R really fit that! Backfiring was gone, the power was increase at all range of RPM. You just follow the instruction, about 1 Hr. all set then Go! Much more easier than the other fuel processor!!
