These pipes are meant to be loud, and they are! Look sharp, too.

These pipes sound awesome! This is probably the best thing I ever did for my bike. The factory pipes were much to quiet. I did the upgrade for the sound and of course for safety reasons. You have to let people know you are on the road. Visibility and hearing go hand in hand for any motorist. Cobra thanks for a job well done.

Went on easy - just follow the directions. Great sound - 2009 Suzuki C50. Being a smaller bike (800 CC) the engine runs at higher RPM's at freeway speeds than a Harley (1600 CC) and really whines with the stock exhaust. These are much more muscular sounding at idle and slower speeds. At freeway (70+) have a great throaty sound that beats the stock exhaust by far. Baffles are removable and you can get aftermarket quiet inserts if you think they are too loud. I like 'em.
love the pipes!

These pipes are fantastic! I have a 2011 Honda Shadow Phantom and they look amazing on my bike! They are nice and loud too! At first the install went smoothly but, when it came time to put the black heat shields on it was a little frustrating to mount them. I thought the whole thing would have taken about 45 mins. but it ended up being about an hour and a half. Otherwise they look and sound awesome! They are definitely a must have for this bike!

Pipes sound wonderful at idle, off idle, and at speed below approximately 65 mph. At speeds above 70, the sound is very harsh and very loud. At 75-80 mph, the sound is unbearable, because it is a very high pitched squeal, almost like a 2-stroke with open chambers. Baffles are not replaceable. But, the pipes do look good.
