  • Full-length, full-coverage chrome heat shields wrap a full 220 degree around pipes, not 180 degree like most heat shields
  • Heat shields are plasma-arc cut from a full piece of tubing for a perfect fit and a big-pipe look that hides any possible bluing

Eric Fenton,  MI Vance and Hines Straight Shots This product has met my expectations. The only problem I had was the plastic plugs in the frame hanger melted out of the tube. I contacted V&H directly, and they only offered to send me more plugs. They said if it continues to happen, they would keep sending me plugs. Being in the engineering field, this only seems like a bandaid; not really addressing the issue.

tom marysville,  WA full exhaust Suzuki 07 M50 Was surprised on how loud it was. sound bounces off semitrucks and cars on the freeway. that was a trip. Don't know about durability. We'll see in a few years. Easy to install. If I had a pet monkey it could put this system on. Only thing I would suggest is to install heat sheild on first and carefully put on so not to nick or scratch. Over all happy with the lines of the bike with it.

James Corpus Christi,  TX They are sleek with a bold statement! First of all they look great! Top notch chrome. They do not come with exhaust gaskets though, which you really need to do the job right. The local dealer did not stock the gaskets so it was another mail order item. The fitting was a bit off and took a little more persuasion than I had expected. Once on they sound great, a little loud, but hey it's a safety issue. They may not see me but they will hear me! And that's with the baffles in. The pipes are a real asset to the vintage look of my 1100 ACE. They are sleek with a bold statement.

noel calgary,  Nova Scoti vance & hines straightshots exhaust The Vance & Hines Straightshots performance exhaust system is a very good exhaust. It was pretty easy to install, I installed them myself in just over an hour. The mufflers were the only part that took any time to install on to the pipes, needed a rubber dead blow hammer to get them on. But the sound and the nice clean look of them makes it all worth it, also the power increase is very good at around 10hp when. Vance & Hines recommends to rejet the carb but my hd dealer reshimed the jets and
