for someone not very mechanically inclined, took me about three hours to install myself. the hardest part was installing the heat shield clamps. other than that, pretty smooth. 2012 Vulcan 900 Classic.

These are high-quality great looking pipes. The only problem I had was removing the stock baffles from them to install the Cobra Quiet Baffles before I installed the pipes. One of the original baffles was jammed in so tight it took nearly an hour to remove it. I gave it 5 stars because the pipes fit perfectly on the bike...it was a baffle that was the poor fit. The quiet baffles slipped right in without a problem.

Overall, a nice exhaust system for my 2003 Honda VTX 1800C. Installation was relatively easy. Chrome finish is very good. I did not try the stock baffles but rather installed Cobra's Quiet Baffles immediately. The sound is much better than the Honda stock exhaust, but the Longs are still too loud for my taste- especially at 2800+ rpm's. Full on acceleration is REALLY loud. They will stay on my bike however.

Put them on a 1300 VTX Honda improved the sound 10 times. Easy to put on only thing is they did not come with exhaust gaskets they should have.
Simply amazed

I installed the Speedster Longs today on my Yamaha Vstar 1300 Tourer, they have a great tone and look great!! Fairly easy to install, I am a 46 year old female without a lot of mechanical skills and was able to do it all by myself.

After much research I decided to put these pipes on my Vulcan 1600 Classic. They are perfect, the sound is deep with a real nice rumble. I have been told several time the bike sounds like a Harley. Nice loud Pipes.
Very Pleased!

I bought the Cobra Speedster Longs for my 2009 V-star 950T. I have never installed any exhaust before and this was very easy. Took about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish and that was with a beer in the middle! OK maybe two beers. Overall I am very pleased with the whole process. Before I ordered the pipes I had a couple of questions and when I called the customer service number my questions were answered. I ordered the pipes and I received them in about four days. One day before I expected them! I love the sound but the only problem I have is that it is 35 degrees today and I can't take the bike out and hear it on the road. I do have two things that I would like to share. 1)The rear pipe shield had three clamps to hold it on the exhaust. I could not use the middle clamp because it hit the exhaust bracket that holds the muffler assembly to the frame. I tried it several ways but could not get it to fit between the exhaust and the bracket. I don't think this will be a problem since the space between the front and rear clamp is not that far. 2)I think Motorcycle Superstore or their supplier should rethink the packaging. The box arrived damaged which is not Motorcycle Superstores fault but it did cause damage to the very end of the muffler assembly. This did not bother me since it was the end that clamps to the front pipe and it is clamped down to seal the front pipe and the exhaust. It was just a little difficult to bend it out so that it would fit over the front pipe. Overall I am very please with the pipes and the install
