Once it was on the exhaust system looked great. The installation instructions should probably be re-done. I followed them and had to change every step.

Sounds good and looks good. It is easy to install. With all aftermarket pipes the heat shield rattles. I have found if you wrap pipes under shields or put heat proof hose under shields they won’t rattle. Don't put anything that stinks when it gets hot like epoxy or muffler tape!

Great product. It would be nice to change out the baffle, to some lower decible ranges, for my 2005 vn2000. I just installed pro hp2-1 and am pleased with the results. Installation was easy, it also took a lot weight off the heavy cruiser. Overall quality is good.

Great looking and sounding pipe. Not as obnoxiously loud as Cobra slip-ons, just a low sounding, throaty growl. It definitely added some HP as well; I can feel it in the throttle. Great set of pipes, especially for the money.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A BIG ONE

Fit 5/5: Everything lined up exactly. Finish 5/5: The chrome is beautiful, no flaws. Durability 3/5: I've only had them a month so I give them a middle of the road rating. I am only skeptical about bluing and just a little disturbed with the double talk on the "lifetime warranty" against bluing. Time will tell the story. Features 2/5: I gave this a low rating mainly due to the fact when I opened the box, I found 6 (yes count them) pieces of exhaust held together with pipe clamps. 2 header pipes, 2 heat shields, 1 muffler, 1 collector heat shield. My stock muffler is one solid piece and I was very unhappy with all the parts and pieces. It seemed very cheesy, low quality but maybe there is a purpose for this?. Cobra has been making pipes for 40 years, I would think they could make this as ONE unit. It was a little tricky (but not too difficult) getting some of the hose clamps on and tightened. Mostly invisible after installation, but you can see the one at the collector area, and if you look close enough some of the others are slightly visible too. I don't like being able to feel them when I clean the bike and worry if I'm going to slice a finger open in the process. It would be really nice to see the heat shields attached at the factory along with the muffler and collector shield. C'mon Cobra you can do better than this! One other feature that would be nice is to have a larger muffler. My stock muffler was large enough to cover the mounting bracket and hide the frame of the bike. The Cobra muffler is smaller in diameter, you can see the frame and part of the mounting bracket from the side. I don't really care too much for that.
