I Never have to use the choke to start my 2002 V Star 1100 in the morning. Even when the temps dip down in the mid 20's NO Choke required! The Best Plug I've ever bought, period.

Happy so far, only two tanks, but it looks like better mileage and better torque and power. Could be just because they are new and not fouled at all, but I think the design and iridium make a difference. The box has a diagram that shows how much to turn for proper torque if you don't have a torque wrench. Mine were properly gapped out of the box.
