I purchased these dragster mirrors for my 09 Softail Deluxe because I liked the way the raised-rib mirror back and mirror stem art deco "streamliner" looked. It is a nice match to the stock design of the chrome piece attached to front of the deluxe fender. I did have an issue with the installation. The wide flattened rectangular shape at the bottom of the mirror stem prevented me from getting the proper mirror adjustment on the right side of bike (brake handle/ throttle side) because the mirror stem was unable to be pushed forward/outward because it hits the brake master cylinder housing. Because the Brake M/C is in the way I could only push the stem so far to reach its maximum travel. With the stem at its max outward travel the 'mirror' itself needed to be twisted to the right and outward, again the 'mirror' reached its maximum travel on its rear pivot adjustment pin. With both the mounting stem and mirror at its maximum outward location I was unable to see cars to my far right side. I'm not sure if the all Harley's use the same throttle housing but I do know that on an 09 Deluxe the hole used to mount mirrors is drilled to close to the brake master cylinder to properly use flat type mirror stems. I would like to mention I did come up with a working solution. The biker choice mirrors came with several different adapters included. One of these adapters is a tapered cone shaped spacer. I reluctantly am using this spacer between the bottom mirror stem and the throttle housing. This fix allows the mirror stem to be raised slightly allowing me to get more outward travel on the stem and in-turn allows me to see more cars to my right side It looks ok (grrrr) but I don't think this cone was intended for this situation. Which reminds me, neither the right side or the left side mirrors came with any installation instructions at all. I like the way these mirrors look but man what a P.I.T.A to fit. I am still not completely happy with the way they are currently mounted.

Wow, these look fantastic on my 1999 Yamaha V-Star! Very substantial & well-made. Highly recommend! PS: Don't forget to order a metric adaptor.

I have an Older Harley that does not have vibration damping which is why I had to get new mirrors. These mirrors were easy to install, came with all the hardware needed and look great. P.S. They were reasonably priced too!!!!
A great buy for the money!!!
