I know I haven't ran fuel through this filter yet, but upon installing the filter I noticed the glue on the filter element, and decided the filter wasn't worth sending back, I sure would not trust it to hold together after having to run ethanol grade fuel through it, and spending 100's of dollars to rebuild my carbs and fuel system. I've since went to e-bay and bought the K&N filter that is cleanable and lasts forever. Cheaper too!

Nice unit, does the job. Leaked, at first, because the ends (barbs) weren't tight, but otherwise, OK. Installed on a 95 Shadow VLX.
