Al Rahrs Hastings,  NE Alley Cat Sports shield The Alley Cat Sports shield was as advertised. The only problem I had with it was that it was to short. One doesn't really know just how tall to make it until you ride and feel where the wind hits you. Unfortunately, Memphis Shades has different hardware associated with their different windshields thus making it expensive to make a change once product has been installed. Bottom line is, it is a good product, just unfortunate that it wasn't taller for me.

Wade Folkston,  GA Feedback Thanks for the prompt service. It's my second Alley Cat windshield and I love the look/fit. The lower dark finish tends to haze after a little wear (sun/cleaning damage). But overall, I'm very happy with the quality.

Ritchie Johnston East Freedom,  PA Mephis Shade Alley Cat Windshield on a 2007 VTX1300C The windshield mounted fairly easily. I got the triggerlock mounting system for it. The brackets and the clamps seem like they could be made a little better. They seem to do the job fine but they look a little cheap. The windshield itself does cut down greatly on the wind pressure. I do feel some buffeting side to side on my head sometimes. Maybe a different helmet would help this. All in all I am pleased with the overall look and appearance and would probably purchase again.

Lynn Crestwood,  KY Memphis Shades - Alley Cat Windshield I just installed this on a 1981 Kawasaki KZ1100. Memphis Shades doesn't list a bracket for my bike so I bought their fork clamps and made brackets out of 1/8" aluminum. I'm happy with the look and feel of the windshield. The material is pretty thick and sturdy. There is one optical flaw that is noticeable from the front of the bike but not while riding and not worth sending it back for. I took an 800 mile trip with the windshield and it did the job of keeping wind off my chest so highway riding is doable for hours at a time. When it wasn't windy, there was no buffeting under 60 mph and very little up to 70 or so.
