1nolney waynesville,  MO DOES THE JOB This secured great on my back foot peg of my 05 GSX-R, the finish is black which looked really good till I hung my helmet on it, scratches easy, but what’s takin it off every now and again for a coat of paint, gonna try putting rhino lining on it to avoid scratches, but its a great price, I mean what’s 30 bucks to secure a 300 dollar helmet.

Tony G. Downingtown,  PA Motion Pro-Helmet Lock On the bike I own (Kawasaki ninja 250r) there really wasn't any room to mount this on the handlebars. Instead I put it on the passenger foot peg area. I used the included anti-theft screws to secure it and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Not a perfect fit, but I mean it's not really the intended area regardless. The black finish appears to be easily marred. Durability-wise it seems pretty solid, I can't imagine it breaking on me. It does it's job of locking the helmet via the D-rings, if someone really wanted it they could cut the strap entirely though. If you really wanted to secure it, however, you could wrap a bike lock of some kind through the visor area and then pass it through the helmet lock. All in all for what I paid, I got basically what I expected, it does the job fine, and this way I don't need to go everywhere with my helmet, which is definitely handy.

Dan Westbury,  NY Great Lock, Great Price, Security at its finest The lock works great, mounting was a breeze, the anti theft screws provided are a nice touch. Mounting the lock is pretty universal. I actually mounted mine on my tail lift. I only wish the latch would self lock itself. Latch should be powder coated instead of painted, the paint comes off too easy esp. when you are locking it to you metal helmet D rings.

Erik Newnan,  GA Motion Pro Helmet Lock The product description didn't identify the size tubing the lock would fit. I had to file and repaint the inside diameter make it fit my bike. Also, the lock won't latch with the key removed. You have to close the catch then remove the key. It is awkward closing the lock this way.

Ewan Ferguson Tracy,  CA Motion Pro Helmet Lock This is the Matt black item. It is mounted on the side of my BMW F650GS and looks very good. Word of warning, make sure you install in exactly the place you want it and the bar it is being attached too is big enough. The single direction security screws allow no room for error (as I found out to my chagrin)!! Overall, very good for the price.
