Well-designed little tail bag
This bag fastens pretty securely to my TU250x, and looks good. Some work is involved choosing the right fastening straps out of many provided with the bag, but I would guess you could work out something that would secure the bag safely to most motorcycles.

DOWCO FASTRAX TANK AND TAIL BAG
Just got my tail bag and like the tank bag it’s AMAZING. The quality is great and it fits a lot of stuff. I ride a 2001 HONDA RC51 with a high mount exhaust and there are no problems and I also do a lot of touring on the bike and the reflective piping has great visibility... JUST BUY IT, IT GOT GREAT REVIEWS :)

Dowco Tail Bag
This bag proved to be the perfect fit for the luggage rack on my 89 Transalp. Perfect size for carrying my work laptop with space left over for lunch and some gear. Easily removed for security. I am glad I decided to buy this bag. I recommend it for anyone looking for a very versatile tail bag.

The quality seems to be very good. The straps keep the bag very secure on my CBR1000. I think the size is good for an overnight and local commuting.

Perfect bag for sport bikes
I'm leaving shortly on a long bike trip from Florida to Maine. I searched extensively for the perfect tail bag for my '07 Yamaha R1 and found this bag and decided I should order it. I'm so glad I did too. This bag seems very durable and comes with straps that seem universal for any sport bike, I also like the built-in rain hood. This bag also has an expansion zipper and has many pockets for whatever you need for a short/long trip. In fact I like this bag so much, I just order the tank bag :) Very satisfied

The Perfect Tail Bag For Sport Bikes>
Before I review this item, let me first say that I research all equipment heavily before making a purchase and I chose this bag. I'm planning on making a long distance bike trip from FL to NC and VA for 2 weeks and need a bag that is spacious but not bulky. I ride an 07 Yamaha R1 and needed something that wouldn’t interfere with the tail pipes. I just received the bag today and I am 100% satisfied. It has long, adjustable straps that should fit any type of sport bike-seems to be very durable, also has integrated rain cover that goes over entire bag and goes over extra top bag that is included. The bag is spacious enough to carry roughly 3 days worth of clothes. I was even more satisfied when I saw they include soft strap covers that go around the straps preventing them from scratching the bike. I'm so impressed that I'm considering on getting the tank bag as well. So for all you who are looking for the perfect tail bag, this is it...trust me. A+

Perfect bag, tons of features, incredible price. You cannot get a better bag or quality for the price! I expected a nice bag, but when I received it I went back and purchased the side bags! If your looking at these, buy it.

Great bag. Feels like it is high quality material and will wear well. Lots of pockets and places to store things. Fits nicely on my 09' Kawasaki Ninja 250. Expandability makes it even more versatile. I would highly recommend this bag

Great Tail Bag!
This tail bag is installed on my 2009 Kawasaki Versys and the fit is great. I use it when commuting to work and it easily holds my laptop and supplies. My change of shoes go in the extra storage bag and this snaps conveniently to the top of the tail bag. Once the three tie downs are adjusted for the bike it removes very quickly and the integrated backpack strap makes it easy to carry everything when on foot. Also, the rain hood is in a small pouch and tethered to the bag so it cannot accidentally blow off. This tail bag also integrates very well with the Dowco Fastrax saddlebags to complete a nice touring package.

This bag is perfect for a student
I carry a lot of textbooks to school, and I used to carry them in a backpack because my previous tail bag was too small. This bag is perfect for all my textbooks and keeps me riding safely without 30 lbs of extra gear on my back!

Dowco - Fastrax Sport and Adventure Tail Bag
I recently purchased the Dowco Fastrax Tail Bag and it's great! Plenty of room to pack for a day’s worth of travel. It fits well and wasn't a pain to attach to the bike. I mounted it on my Kawasaki Versys and it sits nicely on the rear and provides a nice lower back rest on the long rides. I also bought the Fastrax Saddlebags but haven't installed them as of yet because I haven't needed the extra storage. Well made and money well spent, highly recommended!

Never ride without it.
I wanted a tail bag for longer trips, to supplement the Givi V46 trunk on my 07 Yamaha FJR1300. As an added benefit, when the tail bag is fully expanded and loaded, it acts as a very nice backrest on those longer trips. The included mounting straps fasten directly to the seat, allowing seat removal with the bag attached. Everything appears solid, both at highway speeds, and out in the twisties. The bike also seems to handle much better with the tail bag smoothing out the air hitting the Givi trunk, and without the trunk you would barely notice the tail bag was even on. Great product, and a great price.

Dowco - Fastrax tail bag
I used it for a round trip from Minneapolis, MN to Fort Madison, IA, and back. It worked great. It fit securely to the back seat of the SV1000S and the built in rain cover worked great during the 2 hr downpour that we rode through. I also have the matching tank bag which works just as great. One of the other riders had a different brand tail bag, which he had to stop and re-secure to his bike at least once a day. The only thing to watch out for, is that the plastic clips, if not placed in the right spot, can scratch the paint finish.

Dowco Tastrax Sport and Adventure
I bought this bag as a tailbag for my 07 BMW R1200GS after watching the Helge Petersen (sp?) DVD about my bike. I don’t like tank bags and was not sure yet which type of hard pannier system I wanted to purchase. The quality is superb from what I can tell at this stage. The fit is perfect (I removed the rear seat) and fits exactly between my front seat and the luggage rack. The built-in rain cover was a must have for me. The bag came with multiple fastening straps. I was able to fasten the bag without any problem. I have since had the bike up to over 100MPH and the bag is rock solid and does not move. I like the expansion mode zippers. An unexpected bonus was the extra bag to fasten to the top. There is so much room in this thing, I may not need a pannier system until I have enough time to take weeklong trips. I recommend this bag. Terrific value at this price.

Excellent tail bag, but watch out for rain.
I just used this tail bag to ride from Ventura, CA to Seattle, WA over the last four days. The first three days it was bright and sunny, and this bag was virtually un-noticable on the back of my bike. It stayed in place perfectly and has all the attachments required for a good fit on the back of my '06 R1. However, once I got north of Eugene, OR it started to rain and I rode the last 250+ miles in pretty steady rain. The bag is supposedly waterproof (it has a built in rain cover that can be pulled out and fit snugly over the bag), and it kept everything dry for about the first 2 hours. After that, water started seeping in when I got home, everything in the bottom half of the bag was pretty wet. So a slight disappointment there (hence the "3" for "Finish"), but otherwise a stellar bag that works perfectly with late model sport bikes.
