This is a relatively large bag with a number of extra pockets for quick access. The built in drawstring cover in the main compartment is a real plus. It is fine for a weekend trip, but has shortcomings if you're planning something longer.
When fully loaded, the bag tended to lean backwards and to the side, which made it feel not entirely secure on my Honda VTX. This also made it difficult to strap anything on to the bag. There are no D rings to facilitate attaching other items. The zipper attachment for the top bag did not seem sufficient to handle the bag when loaded, and mine broke after a few uses. The rain cover is too small to fit over the bag & the sissy bar when it is attached.

Top quality. Very solid attachment feature and a nice addition to my Honda VTX1800R with National Cycle-Paladin Backrest and Luggage Rack. Plenty of room for a 1-2 day trip with top bag attached, or just use the lower bag around town for your extra helmet, rain gear, etc.

The large size was the perfect size for my super glide. There is plenty of room for clothing plus some great side pockets for maps, cell phone etc. It was an easy adjustment to fit on my sissy bar. I haven't used them yet but several external D rings will be handy to tie down extra baggage. I like the way the roll bag can be adjusted by belt type straps but can be released with just a clip.
