erv crowther salmon,  ID large bag poor longevity Liked the size and price of the bag, but decided not to review until I had used it some. I wanted a large bag for a reason; I intended to fill it for long trip use. After our first trip of a few hundred miles I noticed some wearing on lower rear corner. Just returned from a two thousand mile trip and the same corner is ripped out and three other corners are failing. Yes I fill the bag full. So after two uses the bag is headed for the crapper. In the past I had my own business making back packs so do know a bit about what is going on here. The outer fabric is not heavy enough to work with the inner waterproof layers. With any inside pressure on the liner and plastic water proof layer it cuts the outer fabric. Another problem is the buckles and hardware. First trip I broke a quick release buckle. There is no way to fix that problem and since bag makers cannot always use the same types of buckles getting something to match is nearly impossible. Good idea, good intentions, I would not purchase this bag if I were you.

D. Burkhart St.Paul ,  MN Survivor Jumbo Weekender This pack is wonderful for the money. Took a trip to Colorado. Went through all kinds of weather rain, heat and cold and this pack performed excellent. Shipping took a little longer than I was told by the superstore.

Carl Menge Williamsburg,  VA Two 1500 Mile Plus Trips This bag has kept all my gear dry and clean on my past two 1500 mile trips. I broke a strap but only because I overloaded it. Other than that no complaints.

Robert Thompson GulfPort,  MS Nelson Rigg Jumbo Weekender I purchased the Nelson Rigg for my 2004 Yamaha Roadstar 1700 and a 1400 mile trip from MS-FL. I am very happy with the bag and amazed with all it holds. It easily held 2 weeks worth of cloths, shaving kit, 2 pairs of shoes, slippers and a med. size plastic box with books and magazines. The bag has 3 adjustable velcro straps to secure to back rest. Two straps attach to luggage rack with release clips in front. I had the bag full and heavy, but detachable back pack straps make carrying easy. The bag appears to be water proof, but luckily did not run into rain. I did attach 2 bungy straps from extra tie down points to luggage rack for extra side to side stability. The only draw back I see is material on side of bag has worn spot where items inside rubbed against it, so I am not sure of longevity. However I really had it full. I highly recommend this bag and Motorcycle Superstore's excellent handling of order!!!!

Alan Rogers Hendersonville,  MO Jumbo Weekender This bag is much roomier than I had anticipated. We have only one opportunity to put it to use, but expect many more now that the weather is changing. I did have a little trouble understanding the directions for mounting the bag, but all in all we are very pleased.
