Fantastic bag!
A wonderful complement to my saddlebags when I need the extra room. It came with 2 sets (of 2) straps to secure it to my luggage rack on my Triumph Rocket III. I used one set to loop around each vertical bar on my sissy bar, clipping the claps back in to the front. Then I used another to hook to the D rings on each side and threaded the strap through my luggage rack. That with the thick Velcro sissy bar pad strap secured the bag perfectly. Took me about 15 minutes to properly figure that out but after I did the back is on and off the bike in less than 15 seconds. The bag has ample room in the main pocket even when it isn't expanded. The side pockets are extremely convenient as well. It is also extremely sturdy. I would have no problem purchasing another Saddleman bag based on the craftsmanship of this one for sure. I had another Rocket III owner check the bag out...seems like he was looking for a similar solution.

Very few compromises
The bag has a nice combination of features. The expanding ends are great and have been used several times picking up groceries etc on the way home. I know it is big enough for a fridge pack of pop, but the main opening is not full width. I may have to bungee 12-paks to the back seat if they won't wiggle down into the opening. Unexpanded it stays is shape very well even empty. Mounting flexibility is great. I use the big strap around my sissy bar brackets without covering the pad for when my wife rides. I also use the built in buckles front and back to make loops around my luggage rack. Nice divided compartments on each end.
Only thing I would change is a larger main opening or open on one of the ends. I've seen this feature but on larger bags that would have been too much for my regular riding.
Construction is tough, straps seem good and in good locations and the Velcro is super secure on the big strap which is what most people will probably use.

Installation & Quality
Installation: The bag comes with no instruction/suggestions on how to install it on a rack so you have to play around with straps and bungee cords to come up with a way to secure it and not scratch your luggage trunk.
Quality: for the price it is a good purchase, the zipper is plastic, the 'D rings ' are plastic. For occasional use, it is good. I believe the zipper would be the first to go under regular use.
In all, I am happy with it; it made my latest 8 day ride more organized.

Bought this for a trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon parks, awesome bag. Held more than I thought it would, fit on my 07 Fatboy's backrest/luggage rack beautifully. With all the strapping options they give you this would fit on just about anything. Once secured it never moved. For this price and quality it beat the heck out of anything Harley had to offer and I love HD products!

A Bag for the Road
The quality of this bag is excellent and it did exactly what I needed it to do. It fit very nicely on the back of my bike and I was able to strap it very securely through a couple of the many D rings on the bag itself. I would highly recommend it.

Well made and tough!
This bag sits on behind my sissy bar on a small luggage rack. For the most part, I never even know it's there. It snug’s up very well on the sissy bar & rack, and carries a lot of stuff when you need it to. The zippers are smooth, and even the zipper pulls are easy to use. It has a pouch on the inside of the main flap that contains a rain cover, and man have I used that on numerous drenching rides in Alaskan rainstorms. It keeps everything dry as a bone. It looks nice, is extremely well built, and the price is very reasonable for the quality. Great, great bag, and a definite buy.

Nice Little Bag
I used this bag on top of a larger Saddlemen. It worked great, and holds quite a bit for such a small bag. Alone, it makes a nice glove box that could hold all my rain gear, sweater, gloves, etc.

Saddlemen Roll Bag
The bag did not work for me and was returned. I have a luggage rack and sissy bar and still could not get a secure fit. The top D-Rings are located on the outside edge of the zip out expansion pockets rather than the inside edge, so if the pockets are only partially filled the bag is loose. Another problem is the handle which is sewn flat and hard to grab, plus it is located on the opening flap. This means you can't pick up the bag by the handle when the opening flap is unzipped.
