Koksilah Wing
I have a Goldwing service and repair shop and also ride Goldwings as a personal choice, After being stranded on my own bike due to no prior warning of a charging system malfunction, I installed a Battery volt monitor by Kuryakyn as a quick and easy indicator, I have over the period of the last 5 years installed over twenty of these unit on shop bikes. With no failures or complaints from any owners the products speaks for itself, Cliff

LED Batt. Gauge.
I have this on a 2007 SV650. Easy to install, basic knowledge of DC circuits is all that is required. Only complaint I have is that its just a little too bright at night, even with its low light setting. I was in the middle of nowhere in the rain and did find it to be a little distracting. Overall, however, a great product. I can attest that it is EXTREMELY waterproof as well. Has given me some peace of mind regarding my charging systems integrity.

Great little gauge, fits lots of places
This is the second gauge I've gotten to keep an eye on two bikes' charging systems. The LEDs are bright enough in sunlight, the gauge is small and fits nearly anywhere, and it is simple to install (just pick any ignition-on hot wire). The prior one is stone reliable after four years. This one found a place on my Ducati Paul Smart LE and looks like it was made to go there. The LEDs can be bright at night, and if your voltage is right at a threshold they can flicker, so put it somewhere you won't see it out of the corner of your eye without leaning forward & looking for it.

Money well spent
The Kuryakyn LED Battery Gauge is a simple way to avoid the embarrassment of your bike not starting. I know all too well what that is like. I have extra lights on my bike, so the charging system is always under stress. This lets me know exactly what shape my battery is in. I mounted mine between the risers on top of the triple, where only the rider can see it. But it looks well enough to show off too.

OK, but LEDs can be annoying
Originally had this on my '85 Magna, mounted it right on top of the fork cap. The sticky back held on well enough and installation couldn't be easier. While it's a vague indicator, it is good enough to alert you to a fried wire or stator going south.
However on my '97 Vmax, whatever voltage the bike runs at(Max's are known to be a bit low on voltage), which I measured to be about 13.3, causes this gauge it incessantly flick between one and two green lights. It never stops. Annoying as anything, and I removed it almost instantly. After removing it the second time, the whole thing came apart, the circuit board/leds came out of the case.
If you're going to get a voltmeter, might as well get an accurate one with an actual voltage display.

Battery indicator
I have an older metric bike..And after the full restoration on its first trip out the stator had a weak spot in the insulation..Needless to say I lost the charging system.
After I replaced it I installed this and it is a very nice small unit, it not only tells me the battery condition but it tells me the charging system is working..GREAT peace of mind.
I recommend this to anyone no matter if your bike is a day old or 30+ years like mine is.

Excellent Solution
Perfect add on for my Suzuki C-90T, which has no voltage indicator, to monitor electrical capacity when adding on heated gear for two. I chose to mount it on the fork frame out of sight to all but the rider.

A useful gizmo!
This gauge does an excellent job of letting you know just how your battery and alternator are doing. The optical sensor in the lower right dims the insanely bright LEDs so you're not blinded at night. It's very compact, and the mounting is stick-on easy. Perhaps a little pricey for an LED meter, but if you've ever needed to jump your bike, it's a steal for piece of mind.
