Works as described, a little tight to get on at first. I like the rubber finish as it creates some drag which helps in its use. It is very inexpensive compared to actual cruise control and works very well. It has kept my hand from cramping up on long rides and does not get in the way when I need full control.

Throttle Boss
I found it to be the next best thing without having throttle control built into the bike. Installation and adjustment is easy, it made my next road ride of 300 miles much more comfortable.

Works great!
Gives your right hand a break and allows use of the wrist to maintain throttle pressure when you don't have cruise control or can't use it, like during a group ride. I'm on my 5th one, as I'm always giving them away to others that have never seen one.
There are a couple of variations on the theme, but I like the Kury-Akyn best.

Not what I imagined it to be
When I ordered this throttle boss I thought I was getting a throttle lock. I've grown to like this gadget over the long miles. It won't lock your grip in place but sure helps relax your right hand by letting you hold the throttle open with a relaxed hand.

Good Product
This is a good product,very durable and easy to use. It does help a lot with my numbing hand. The only problem I had with it is it was hard to install because I have foam grips which are a bit larger than the stock grips. This made streching the unit around the grip a challenge. Other than that its a nice unit. I highly recommend this Throttle Boss.

Best Relief!
The Throttle Boss really puts the other plastic hand rests to shame. This one is made of thick rubber, is easy on/easy off the bike and is just the right width! It's not too large so it won't interfere with throttle use. It's not too small so you can easily rest on it when cruising. It might take an adjustment or two to find the perfect spot for your palm (or edge of the palm) to rest on, but once you find it you will find relief of "numb hand" syndrome forever. Amen to that.

Does exactly what it claims to do: gives you a place to rest your palm and relax your fingers during those longish road trips. Definitely nice to have. No huge complaints except that when you're using the throttle normally, the raised edge of the throttle boss is under the right side of my palm and it can get irritating...also, the little traction insert comes out when not on your grip and will get lost quickly (rendering the boss useless) if you're not keeping track of it.

Great inexpensive cure for the numbing right hand. Very easy to mount and adjust. Only problem I've had is that it came loose and fell off in a gas station once. I probably didn't have it fully hooked after adjusting it for a long ride. Great product for the price! Highly recommended.

No More Numbness!
I am new to riding and recently went on a 45 min. ride, mostly hwy, and about halfway through the ride my right arm started to go numb, I thought I needed to pull over and let my arm recover! No more worries now that I have the the Throttle Boss! No more numbness on long rides!
