Well built and plenty of size
This is a seriously solid bag. Straps keep it in place well and it is fairly comfortable, although on hot days it makes my back sweat considerably (maybe it's just me). The material seems extremely tough, and the reflective piping is nice. There is plenty of storage. I ride with my 15" laptop, lunch, and a change of clothes with room to spare, not to mention all the other pockets. The downside of all that room is that this bag is really big and won't easily fit into a locker. The helmet storage works but it looks stupid walking around so I don't use it. Only negative is that the adjustable parts of the shoulder straps are unnecessarily long and tend to flap around a lot, especially at high speeds.

First Gear Backpack Review
Over all I am very pleased with this pack. The fit is snug and doesn't cause any kind of drag from the wind and, the padding on the shoulder straps and back are just right even on long rides. The chest straps are a bit of a pain to mess with at first but once there adjusted they really stay put. Sturdy material has held up well to abuse and weather but a water proof version should be in the works I hope. (Wink wink @ First Gear). I will say though that a mild rain while riding hasn't left anything inside wet. There's not much I can't fit in here with all it's space. Not to mention the plethora of various pockets inside and out. Oh and the built in helmet bag is a great touch since I hate to use my helmet lock. Only downside is that the helmet will bounce off your butt if you plan on walking any distance with the helmet in tow. Guessing it's more for static storage while traveling than for toting around. Now the price alone is excellent considering I've seen other bags with less going for them at a much steeper price without the quality of First Gear craftsmanship. Overall this is one EXCELLENT bag for just about anything you'd need a bag for, whether you’re riding or just strolling around. I'd highly recommend it.

Great Product
The Firstgear backpack is well designed to fit while riding. I use it to carry workout gear including shoes as well as a laptop. The separate front pocket is great for carrying loose papers and tablets. The phone pouch is a little high on the shoulder strap, but functional. The pack is very secure and comfortable while riding.
