I purchased the large size for my 2003 Honda Interceptor. It fits well. I've only had it for about a month so the durability is still to be decided. I think the UV protection is probably good. It hasn't been too hot lately. It keeps the moisture off the bike well.

Super light weight and waterproof
The perfect travel cover for my KLR. I have a gel seat with spandex (?) cover that's a sponge when rain hits it. I also keep a cordura tail bag on at all times and believe me, and cordura is just not very water resistant. So this half cover is perfect, it packs down really small, not taking up any real room in my tail bag, and it's WATERPROOF. So no matter where I go, I can throw this cover on, really quickly, and take off really quickly, very convenient.
The XL size was a good fit for my KLR 650.
Also I like the super reflectivity of the material, almost chrome like, keeps more heat away from the bike in the summer sun.
I didn't give it a high durability rating for the obvious reason that I just bought it, and would have left this field blank if the review template would have allowed, so I just put the rating in the middle at 3. But Nelson-Rigg only gives it a 1-year warranty, as opposed to the 5 year I got on another cover of there's, so that let's you know what they think. The cover is almost sheer feeling, but I think I'll get some good life out of it. And what the heck, $39.99 is a good value for the protection and convenience.

UV-2000 cover great value for the money
This is my second UV-2000. The first traveled on a 6500 mile, 11 state trip last year and held up through hail, rain, and northern plains winds without a complaint from me. The perfect travel companion -- nothing like getting up in the morning to a dry windshield and seat. It folds up small into it's enclosed cover, and covers enough of the bike on a trip to keep vital areas dry and out of sight of the curious. The elastic hem fits snug and I never had it fail to stay on and protect the bike. It went on over hot pipes without a problem. Sometimes I had to think about which end went over my windshield. I bought another one after dropping the first one in a container of old oil -- not the cover's fault. I liked it enough to buy another.

Good inexpensive cover
This is a perfect cover for the price. I needed something to cover the top part of the bike (seat, instruments) like a bikini cover for when we go on road trips. I use it to keep the moisture and dust off overnight when camping. It works great in the rain and folds up nice and small to fit in the luggage easily and not take much room. It would be nice if it had a soft surface inside for the windshield, but a towel works fine. I went with recommended size and it fits great. "It is not just a bike!"

Works Good - Lasts Long Time
This is the second that I've purchased. The first one was used every work day for 3 years, rain or shine, on my commuter bike a V-Strom 650. When I retired and bought an FJR for travel the same cover (large) fit it as well. When I finally ripped a hole in it I ordered a second one immediately which, judging by the wear and tear I put on the first one, should last a lifetime in my retirement.

Nelson-Rigg Half Cover
I bought the half cover for my Buell and it fit great. It comes with the straps for the foot pegs but it fits snugly without using them. The bike stays much cooler in the hot sun under the cover. Easy on, easy off and the carrying pouch is convenient, too. Might be too early to say anything about durability but it looks like it will hold up well.

Great travel cover
I bought this half cover for a road trip I was taking around the midwest on my sportster. I had a standard windshield on the bike and the cover fit over no problem. It worked great for keeping rain off my bike and seat. It doesn't cover the lower half of the bike completely obviously but worked perfect for quick and temporary protection.

This cover seems to hold up very well in all the UV of an 8 hr CA workday. It has been rained on once and kept my bike dry underneath. I simply fold it up when I'm ready to leave work and stuff it in my trunk. Works great.

This XL cover fits my BMW R1100RT with a GIVI top box great. The side straps I put over the passenger pegs and use a short bungee cord for the rear straps. I ride my bike to work almost every day and so it gets used a lot. It keeps my motorcycle cool and dry while it sits in the parking lot. The only down side is that it doesn"t have any protection for my windshield so I use a towel.

I bought this cover to use when I take my bikes to work. The fanny pack attaches easily to the handlebars above the headlight on both my VTX and VMAX. The cover goes on very easily and has both velcro and elastic ties to keep it in place. In my opinion it's well worth the cost, just keep in mind bigger is better. So go one size larger than you think you need. I bought the large and it just covers the top and back fender, the front fender is still exposed.

Overall all good for the money but there are no hooks to attach the cover to the bike just elastic straps. I had to make them and attach them to the elastic straps to make this cover work on my bike....not good. Also there is no soft material under the cover to protect the windshield from being scratched...not good. It does stop the rain from reaching the seat...good. With all this said, I am pleased with it so far.

I ordered the large based on the guide...I think the medium may fit a little tighter, but this will do. Comes with storage fanny pack which fits under seat in the well next to the battery. It gets dusty at work where I park so this should help and it is in full sun all day. As a secondary benefit should keep people from sitting on your bike just for fun/curiosity.

This half cover does exactly what it says. I followed the sizing chart and it fits wonderfully over my SV650s. My only concern is the belly pan, front, and rear fenders are not technically covered and therefore not protected from the sun. I use this cover on days when I ride to the office and have to leave the bike out in the parking lot for 7 - 10 hours. It's small when folded up into the fannie-pack-size pouch that comes with it.

Quick and Easy-to-Use Cover
I have a 250 Ninja and it's a great little half-cover that helps protect the paint and seat from the sun. I like the half-cover because I can put it in place right after riding because it doesn't fit too low on the bike as to touch the pipes. I just fits my bike - I bought a medium. It might fit something just a little bigger but that's it. Well worth the money.

Excellent Investment
Perfect for the hot Texas summer. The sun is brutal around here on plastics and paint. I commute to work with my bike and it is parked in an open lot for up to twelve hours a day. The cover not only keeps the bike several degrees cooler but more importantly keeps my plastics, dash, and buttons from bleaching out in the sun. Compacts super small, small enough to fit into my backpack. The only drawback is the cover leaves little silver marks on my fairing where the elastic touches. Comes off easily though, small price to pay.

Half-cover, XL on 2006 RSTD
I bought the Nelson-Rigg UV-2000 half-cover for my 06 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe, primarily for parking outside at work all day. I am hoping it will not only keep the bike clean longer but also protect it from the summer sun. The XL fit pretty well on my RSTD, it is a big bike, but this cover fits over the rider’s backrest and saddlebags fine. So far I only have tried it with my low windscreen and not the tall stock, but it looks like it will work with that as well. In the past month I haven't seen any wear or other problems that cause me any concern. It looks like this will last for a few years. I am happy with the purchase so far and feel good about the price, it is worth it.

Really nice cover for a bike that sits at work all day in Fl sun and afternoon T-Storms. My Suzuki GS 500 is a perfect Medium fit except I have all 3 Cortech sport bags.
The medium went back to exchange for a Large that fits perfect with the bags. The cover is much narrower in the rear. Cover has elastic loops to secure it to the bike that probably will not last in the sun but they are not needed anyway. The cover is wrapped around so much other stuff it isn't going anywhere. I'm in and out of the bags all day and a full cover would be a pain. No soft inner lining but should not be a problem if bike is clean. Soft liners get grit stuck in them also.

Superstore seems to be a first class operation, I'm very pleased with them and the cover.

I have a Triumph Tiger-- the large was not large enough, I had to get the extra-large fully cover my side bags and front windshield. So it's a little loose but that makes it easy to throw on! Keeps the bike cool and protects most plastics and seat from the sun's harm-- all but the front fender.

I ride a Kawasaki v-1000 concourse so with the help of the fit chart I ordered the xl and it fit perfect. The only issue I have is getting it back in the pack after work. If they would attach the bag it would make it easier than trying to store the fanny pack while the cover is on the bike. All in all a good product at a good price. Took a vacation ride with a friend who had one of these last year. Very convenient cover for leaving the bike outside your motel room at night. Excellent Cover
Have a 2004 Yamaha FZ1, a medium sized cover fits my bike - if you have stock mirrors, you might want to go up to a size large. Cover is waterproof, packs small (haven't put it there, but it would fit in the space underneath the seat), and looks a lot better than many other covers. Keeps elements off of all paint and seat with the exception of the front wheel's fender. Highly recommend this bike cover.

Like the looks and fit. Concerned with burning the cover (or my hands!)when placing over the hard bags so I have waited until the pipes cool down to place over the bike. (Pipes are really close to the hard bags) Overall seems to be a great value for the price. I would recommend this half cover.

I picked up this cover to use while my bike is in the elements at work and on road trips. It's exactly what it says it is and being a Nelson-Rigg product I trust it to last and do what it's designed for. The fit is good and tight and it comes down just far enough to keep the elements off the top surfaces of the bike. I fold it up and put it into my seat bag so I've always got it with me. I've been looking for a convenient cover for my Honda NSS250 that doesn't eat my storage space when folded. This cover does the trick! It stretches over my windshield providing shade for the top part of my bike, and stretches to attach behind the seat. This is one nice cover, being a half cover, it is much easier to put on and take off, plus it fits in a small storage bag for the ride to and from work. It does not even get close to the exhaust so I do not have to worry about that. (We did have a guy here at work cover his bike with a full cover and it went up in smoke.--Fire) I was skeptical about the UV rating at first, but after using the cover five days a week for about a month, I know it is doing its job, How you ask? Well I will tell you, leaving the bike parked all day in the parking lot, you try to touch the seat, let me remind you it is 108+ deg F, So after work you try to touch the seat with no cover no luck, possibly a burned hand! But with the cover it is just warm, to your hand, but you can leave it there on the seat, So over all I say the product is well worth the money (5 Star)

I'm very impressed with this cover. I ordered it for my new 08 ninja 250 to keep it out of the sun while at work. It is super easy to put on and take off and barely takes up any room in my back pack. The elastic ends hold the cover on well including those windy days here in Palmdale. It fits perfectly as if it were made especially for my bike. You can't beat the price either.

Excellent cover for daily use
The XL is long enough to fit a Goldwing. There are 2 tie straps per side of the cover, but for my Goldwing 1800 I have to use the front strap only and it can only hook to the bag guard. I am concerned about the straps tearing from the cover due to the tension. I don't have a flex antenna so I can't fully wrap my bike. Despite this my seat stays dry and cool. It goes on and comes off easily. Over all, I am pleased with the cover.

I own a 2004 Honda 599; after much deliberation, chose the large over the medium, and I am happy to say that it fits as expected. I can't speak to it's durability just yet, but it serves the purpose for which it was built, and in So Cal, that means just keeping the scorching sun off the seat and paint while I am at work. I would recommend based on those premises, but beyond that, who knows!

XL 1/2 cover to use on a Scarabeo 500ie scooter with tall windshield, trunk and sport saddle bags. My complaint about the 1/2 cover is no felt on the under side for the windshield (there is on the full cover)so the windshield will be getting scratch if parked in a windy location all day or when putting in on or taking it off. It could use a few more tie down straps or grommet holes towards the front for rubber snubbers (bungee cords). If you want a basic cover it will work once you figure out a method for securing it on a scooter, and remember to bring an old flannel pillow case for the windshield.

Nelson Riggs 1/2 cover
I actually went and bought some Gore-Tex material and was going to make a template and make my own 1/2 cover. My wife sews and quilts so the stitching part was covered. Anyway, a friend of mine showed me this exact cover and I hit up MSS and ordered it on a Sunday. To my surprise it arrived on Tuesday and was in use on Wednesday. This 1/2 cover is perfectly designed. Elastic in all the critical areas as well as bungee elastic straps to secure it to your bike. My friends laugh at me because I use it all the time. What they don't get is that over time exposure to the elements will dull and fade the most durable bike. Sun will fade the paint and plastics. My bike in 5 to 10 years will still look less faded, less wear and tear on the switch gear (rain) and will hold its value over time.
PS: I also ordered some K& N filters from MSS. 2 days and they were on my doorstep. Amazing internet service and the fastest shipping I have experienced this side of Amazon.com. Cheers and I'll be back to MSS!!!!!

perfect cover for '08 Ninja 250
I put this cover on my new Ninja 250 and stored the thing on the back patio while on a two week business trip. While I was gone the wind blew so hard it blew a bunch of shingles off the roof but the cover and the bike were fine. No rips, no stretched elastic straps, perfect. Great for 08 Ninja 250R
I got the UV2000 in Medium and it fits my 2008 Ninja 250R just fine. Perfect front to rear, side to side and top to... well, middle (its a half cover). I don’t even have to fold the mirrors in. It has a little 'flap' in the wind between the seat and handle bars, but it’s not a custom fit cover. Velcro straps front and rear to secure as tight as you can, elastic straps on the side to secure to the front and rear pegs. Best of all, it will fit under my rear seat cowl. Also has a bag that will wear like a fanny pack.

The Nelson-Rigg cover is perfect for a cover at work
I was looking for a 1/2 cover that I could put on the bike at work. I wanted a 1/2 cover so that I could install it while the bike was still hot from the ride in to work. This cover is just the ticket. Well built. Light. Easy to put on. Easy on the pocket book. Doesn't hang down on to the exhaust. Nelson-Rigg UV-2000 cover
Large fits my 2008 SV650SF well, slightly tight around the mirrors. Did not get blown away by winds and kept the bike surprisingly dry during heavy rain. Have not had the chance to fully test the benefits in extreme Texas sun just yet but I expect great results. I will be packing this in my mini tank bag and covering my bike at work so it doesn't burn my bum when I leave in the afternoon.

I got this for my boulevard. It fits over windshield, saddlebags, sissy bar even under rear fender and front turn signals. It has straps to secure to the rear pegs and velcro to go behind the front tire. It leaves the engine area open. Very pleased with it and the price.

Rainy days
The price and size sold me on this cover. I bought it just for road trips. As of now I have only test fit the cover since my next cross country trip is not until July. But ten days out and crossing four states I expect to encounter some wet weather. This will be its proving ground. Although the ad stated a size a little smaller then it is. But with its own carrying pouch it will be no problem strapping it around my touring pack. If it is truly water proof. I give it a high five.

Great for when you take the bike to work
I bought the large size for my 2004 yah r6 and it fits perfectly. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to get the cover on. The quality seems good enough and it’s not an eye sore. I'm planning on using it when I go to work during the summer. This cover is very small but still expect to fight it a little bit when putting it in your storage space, unless your a Honda Sports bike owner, even this smaller cover is out of the question if you plan on trying to put it in the trunk.

Must have for overnights
This is a must have for those that go on multi-day trips. Also, just having it on in the garage keeps the dust and accidents off of it. When you have kids, things get thrown. No matter which direction they aim, it always hits the motorcycle with the custom paint. This cover rolls up and fits in the tail, but is big enough to hook on the front fender to the rear fender and down 3/4 of the sides. I got a Large for a Hayabusa and it fits like a glove. I've seen other 1/2 covers that fold up small, but they are over $100.00!!! The price on the Nelson-Rigg from Motorcycle-Superstore is unbelievable!!

Better Than Dowco's By a Mile
After the poor quality of the second Dowco half-cover I bought (the first one has a rubberized interior and works well, but not this second one), and their unwillingness to address my complaint, I finally found this Nelson-Rigg. It's been great, seems waterproof as claimed (though we don't get too much rain here in CO), and keeps the sun off my leather Corbin saddle. Nice! The price was reasonable, but I have a Nelson-Rigg full cover at home that's snug on this bike (Hayabusa with Corbin Beetle Bags), so I bought a size up from recommended (I got XL). After receiving it, I can see that a Large would probably work fine. Fine cover, though, and if it lasts more than a year, it's got Dowco's beat, as theirs disintegrated from sun exposure at 13 months.

Nelson Rigg UV200 Half Cover
I had a full cover for a couple of years, but it is bulky to travel with and drags the ground. This cover is extremely portable and goes on in about thirty seconds. Easy to roll up and fit back in the supplied fanny pack and throw into my tank bag. I will probably never go back to a full cover again.

Perfect for a small bike

Great fit, quick on and off
I ordered the XLg and it's a perfect fit for my Suzuki V-Strom with top case. I commute to work every day and I'm hoping this cover will help protect my paint and plastic from the Florida sun. If it does it will be well worth the cost. I can have the cover on or off and stowed in just a minute. The velcro closing bag is perfect as long as I roll the cover tightly. Plenty of straps to secure it to the bike so I believe it will stay on the bike during anything short of a tornado or hurricane.

Love This Cover
I bought this cover because I had one before. It is the perfect no nonsense cover. I prefer the half covers. It fits my bike perfectly, although you may want to get the next size up if you have a large bike. Mine is a 1977 Honda. I would buy this cover again, and Motorcycle Superstore was a wonderful company to order from.

So Far So Good
This seems to be a well made half cover. However, if you have or plan on attaching accessories to your bike, I'd recommend the next size up. I originally ordered a large for my Kawasaki Vulcan 750 and had to reorder an XL because there wasn't anyway it would've fit with my future luggage rack.

You Can't Go Wrong
Bike covers don't have much in the way of bells and whistles, which is fine with me. I wanted a cover for my bike for when it sits out in the parking lot at work. My previous bike sat outside without a cover for some 12+ years and the paint and plastic suffered greatly because of it. Now I've learned my lesson, and for around $30, you get exactly what you need. The cover is made of quality materials, with quality construction. It covers the bike while I'm at work, and that's all I ask!

Good Value
This cover has been perfect for my needs. Its compact, can keep the blazing sun and occasional rain off my bike. It's quick to put on and when you take it off it wraps up easily and stuffs into its fanny pack without any effort at all. I keep the fanny pack strapped to my luggage rack so I always have it handy. I don't have a garage so this was my best bet for protecting bike.
