Motorola Bluetooth Headsets

There are two issues with these units. One is the volume level is not capable of very high levels given the possible wind noise of different bikes. Or for that matter if you have someone that has some hearing impairments. The second is the battery life. We found that with very little constant discussions going on during our rides that the battery life is around 6 hours. One of ours consistently failed before the other. All in all we see these as a good short ride accessory but for the price you can probably get into a hard wired set so that the volume and battery life would not be an issue. But you would be wired to the bike.

Motorola HS 830 bluetooth helmet headset

This product does not have nearly the volume to hear your phone and carry on a conversation while riding a motorcycle, even with a full helmet. With my phone volume turned all the way up and the headset volume at max, which I think is one in the same, it can not be heard legibly.
