Angela Krenz White Salmon,  WA Chatterbox Headset for FRS unit The chatterbox open face helmet unit did not work well with the ability to be heard by the other rider. It aloud too much outside noises to interfere with conversations. We had to replace both ear pieces due to the small wire that were easily broken.

Vicki Thurmond,  NC I got what I paid for... don't you make the same mistake! Folks, this is a really cheap product. It works in the beginning but wears out really fast. After just a few uses, the headset will just stop working, and you will be forced to keep buying more headsets. Better to just go ahead and spend your money on a nice intercom system now...that way, you won't have this worry. The cost is not even beneficial when you consider that you have to keep buying more and more and more to keep talking to your cycling partner.

Elizabeth Denis Rolling Hills Estates,  CA Multisport Chatterbox I drive a 250cc Virago and my husband has a 1300cc V-Star. He hears me perfectly at all speeds, but I had difficulty hearing him over 50mph. I think the sensitivity with the voice activated speaker is not the greatest on louder bikes. We solved the problem...my husband uses the push button to speak at higher speeds. We still think this system is GREAT for the money and would buy it again given the chance. We also made a custom mount so as not to have the whole unit on our helmets.

Ray old forge,  PA Chatterbox headset I really like the intercom systems chatterbox sells. I have the HJC 50 Tandem Pro and a set of FRS Multi-sport communicators. The headsets work great with either device. I have purchased 4 headsets so far. The cords are a little thin and don't hold up well even with great care I've had problems with the connectors and shorts in the headset cords. With that said, for the price what can I expect

D. Lambert Oliver Springs,  FL Open-Face headset review I was having trouble communicating on my HJC-50 Communicator after buying one of the modular helmets. Those regular headsets for full-face helmets don't work very well. This open-face headset solved my problem and provides much clearer communications. The headset is very comfortable, easy to install on my modular helmet, and doesn't get in the way when I'm not using my Communicator. Great product!
