Great battery charger for outside use
Purchased battery tender to charge my Motorcycle stored outside. Used once to charge battery and worked with no problem. Plan to use indoors in a garage during the NNJ winter months to keep the battery alive.

The battery tender is the best investment you can make in regards to replacing your battery every spring. Also with the new Gel Batteries, it is critical to keep them @ 12 to 12.8 to lengthen the life of the battery.

Great product
I bought this because I already have the one that was not waterproof. I can't really give it a 5 on the durability aspect because I only have been using this for a month but so far it doing it job well. I am using this one hooked up to my boat batteries. I knew one of the 2 was dead and beyond saving but it did save the other. The disconnect cabels are great. I love everything else about this. I am going to buy another one to keep with my camper.

My bike is outside, so the waterproof feature of this item was important. The charger brought my low battery up in a couple of days and has maintained it fully charged in rain and cold temps. Good value for the money and an essential item for the winter months (especially if you store your bike outside).

Battery Tender Waterproof 800 charger
I bought two of these about a month apart, one for my motorcycle and one for my cranking battery on my boat. The charger performs as claimed, no overcharging, fit and finish are great and cost very reasonable. The only reason I gave a 4 in durability and features is I have not had them very long and it is fully automatic.

I have one for my motorcycle and boat cranking battery. Chargers are both inside,so I cannot speak for waterproofing, one goes to motorcycle stored inside and one has 25foot extension cable I also ordered to boat which is outside. So far they have maintained full charge on batteries with batteries getting hot or cooking acid away in battery. Delivery was fast,packaging great,work as described,well pleased.

Great Charger
This charger does what you want it to do. There's not much else to say. I'm too paranoid to test if it's waterproof or not, but I use it keep my bike (which is stored outside) charged up. Not a bad price considering all the other ones out there!
