Ordered a Triumph jacket off ebay and it didnt come with any back padding. The area where the padding goes was in the same shape as this product. I thought I would have to trim some off but it fit perfect. Money well spent.
Haven't had to test it yet...

I bought this thing based on its' overall shape with the hope it would fit in my Triumph Rivton jacket. When it arrived, I cut about 3 inches off the bottom of it, rolled it up, and slid it into the jacket's back armor pocket. Fit like a glove. Haven't had to use it yet, as I haven't fallen, but it seems like it would give you a little protection.
Not what I thought it would be

When I purchased this back protector I thought it would be a hard plate like the Alpinestars replacement that is CE approved which is what I was looking for. This is just like the foam protector that comes with the Phoenix jacket. I guess it is for a plate which wears out? Not much here.

The only problem was how to mount/attach to my jacket. I used velcro and it seems to work well. The Protector seems very durable. I would recommend it to anyone. Use the heavy duty velcro. Thanks
