First gear Heat Troller
Installed this on my 07 Heritage. I like the permanent mount system by First Gear. It's straight forward and installed easily on my bike. I've only had a few rides where I needed the heat. Works great, easily adjustable while riding and eliminates all those wires common with the portable controllers. Excellent product.

More Functional than the Portable Version
I originally purchased the portable heat-troller, and hated it (bulky and awkward to operate). The semi mounted unit allows me to mount the controls where they are easy to see and operate while I am riding. I would recommend this unit over the portable heat-troller (especially if you have only one bike).
