Synergy Heated Gloves by Tour Master
These gloves are VERY high quality and fit into the "thicky" category, as winter gloves should be. They are molded for a throttle grip. They are better than nothing but aren't really designed for long enduring trips. Are the reviews accurate about the thumbs getting cold? YES! I don't even think there's an element inside them. I made a trip from the S. Rim of the Grand Canyon back into Vegas when the weather was in the 30's and paid the price. The gloves were at best better than nothing, and added warmth to not only that journey but many others. I love Tour Master products and highly recommend the gloves, but they have their limits. Don't think you're going to be making some 10 degree and loving life.

Well Worth It - Ride Through The Winter
I bought these gloves and the matching jacket liner back in the fall of 2008 and now it is mid Nov 2009. I rode straight through the winter last year and plan to do so again this year. I ride 120 miles back and forth to work, down route 80 in northern New Jersey and average 80 mph with the flow of traffic in the fast lane. These gloves kept my hands toasty warm. I generally use the low settings for temps 25 through 45, medium for temps 5 to 25 and high for below 5. The coldest I rode in so far has been -5 and I was still fine. I recommend spraying the gloves with some waterproofing so if you ever do get caught in the rain your hands will stay dry and warm.

Good deal
Guess I’m a wimp, I used high at 40 degrees at honest 75 mph, they are worth the price but need more heat in thumbs.

I found the gloves to be as advertised, I have never had them above a low setting, and they are very warm. The only thing I would recommend is to get one size larger than you normally wear.

I was disappointed in the fit of these gloves, and returned them. The fingers and palm cut do not allow room for reaching the controls. I have an old set of TM gloves that fit perfectly, sad they could not make these with the same quality.
Also, the controls and wiring scheme do not allow for wiring up the sleeve of a leather jacket.

They Work Fine
I have only used them once since I have had them. It was in the mid thirties and a 25 mile trip. They worked great on the lowest setting. The installation was really simple. Do order a size larger than you would normally. I got extra large when I usually order a large. I got this info from the reviews.

Effective Heated Gloves
The TM Heated gloves do an effective job at the lower settings (I have not had to use them at a high setting yet). They heat the back of the hand, which is where I need it the most. I am not sure the thumb is heated much - we'll see when it gets colder. The fit is a bit strange; I bought Large - the gloves are very tight (probably to ensure that the heating elements are close to the skin) while the fingers a bit long - not great but certainly functional. The built-in controller is a great feature, though it is a bit flimsy. Overall, these gloves are very good and given the price, an absolute bargain.

Heated Gloves
I already have heated grips. But during last winter I still got cold even with wind guards. The gloves really are quality made in my opinion. The fit is snug and as they break in I think they’re going to be fantastic! I use a separate controller for the gloves so I can run them at a higher heating range. I haven't added my wind guards yet this winter because I haven't needed to yet.

Riding in Winter
These gloves do keep my hands warmer than standard non-heated gloves. I have been riding in New York from October to November 09 using them and I have had no problems. The average temperature has been about 30 degrees which is not terribly cold. I will know their effectiveness when the temperature drops to below 20, however I have confidence they will work well.

Nice investment
I ride 100 miles a day to and from work and in the mornings when the temps dropped down into the upper 30's low 20's. These gloves keep your fingers warm enough on high to prevent the freeze effect. I wear a large glove and was scared when I tried them on because they were very tight. It took a few days of wearing to break in, and now fit very comfortably. Very nice glove, but must have patience for the break in period.

Tour Master Heated Gloves
I tried just about everything to keep my hands from getting numb while riding. I tried different types of gloves, including battery operated heated gloves. They did nothing at all. I bought grip shields thinking that would be the ticket, but still had numb hands. I decided to try this rather than heated grips because I didn't want to alter my bike by drilling out my handle bars, concealing wires, replacing existing grips, etc. These work great and my hands are toasty! It's not a big deal to pull them out and plug in. Takes maybe an extra minute to run the wires down the sleaves of my jacket. When I don't need them, they tuck away in the zippered stuff bag provided and store in my saddlebags.

Best I have tried...
These are the first active heated gloves i have used long term, and I have been really happy. They literally changed my winter life! I ride 24/7/365 - and i have a 40-mile commute. I have never been able to make the trip in our coldest weather (I left Frederick one morning this past winter when it was 9F)without stopping at least once. With the Synergy gloves, even the worst weather is bearable for the entire distance... they never get my hands hot, or even warm - they just never get cold, either. Sensitivity in extreme temperatures, range of motion, everything is drastically improved. I find them more comfortable and more flexible than other "wired" heated gloves. The caveats about the thmb are correct, but not badly so for my purposes. Rubber side down!

A Great Pair of Gloves
I purchased this pair of gloves in preparation for a 6,800 mile trip recently completed to Alaska and return. I wore the glove much of the time in the Yukon and Alaska and they kept my hands nice and warm in daytime temperatures in the mid 30's and 40's. My heated grips went out on my 1100GS, so I was thankful I had them as a backup. I ordered a large and they fit a bit tight, but gradually stretched some. The nice thing about them is that they keep your knuckles warm, a godsend if you have arthritis in your hands. They are reasonably waterproof so they stayed dry through several rain showers we encountered. As temperatures warmed, I disconnected the electrical controls and wore them as a lined glove. I recommend them without reservation for winter riding.

Synergy Heated Gloves
They work great! You just have to be careful how you get dressed. You have to connect the gloves before you put them on or you can’t find the wires under your jacket. Like with any other gloves be sure to put your helmet on first too. The plastic pouch that holds the controller is a bit cheesy and you don't even need it if you have the synergy jacket. They do work well when its cold.

Since my purchase I have enjoyed the gloves very much. They have already paid for themselves on cold rides. My friends that have been riding for years are even considering purchasing some.

They’re great, but the way one needs to run the wiring through the sleeves and get hooked up to make them work is a pain in the butt. Any better way to do that would be a 5 all the way down on the rating. Thanks

Gret product!
The Tourmaster heated gloves are awesome! I bought the jacket liner and the gloves for those days (especially the mornings) in the 30s and even 20s on my 30 min ride to work. I haven't had the chance to try this product out in the teen temps yet but from my experiences with the jacket liner/glove combo so far I'm sure it will be manageable.
I've only had it turned as high as medium and I actually got too hot. I have two small issues with the gloves...the rain liner is a lot of extra material around the cuff that really isn’t needed and the wiper blade on the left thumb is a little uncomfortable on the back of my thumb. I'd still recommend this product to anyone wanting heated clothing.
I will definitely buy the pant liners before next winter. Buying from motorcycle superstore was an easy and enjoyable experience to boot.

Great
I have friends who have the other brand and they don't fit as well as the Tourmaster Synergy gloves. I get comfort, fit, and even heating throughout the gloves. I own other Tourmaster products and I would definitely recommend this product to others interested in a quality product.

Hands stayed warm in 28 degree weather, thumb did get cooler than the rest of the fingers as stated by others but still far better than anything else I have used. Also as stated by others get a size larger than what you measure, I wear a 2X and got the 3X and was a perfect fit. Glove is large but not bulky and I was worried about the fingers being to long since I was a size over but they fit fine also.

Electric gloves work!
I got these after trying at least a dozen different gloves and combinations of gloves, attempting to be able to ride more than 20 miles at a time without stopping to warm up my hands at a gas station.
I have been really happy with the way these gloves work. I've never had electric gloves before, so I really didn't know what to expect. They don't really create a lot of heat, in other words, my hands don't get hot. But they don't get cold!
The rubber 'squeegee' blade, on the left thumb, was pretty stiff at first, but seems to be fine now. The padding on the outside of the left pinky finger was way too stiff, at first, but also seems to be fine now, after about three weeks of use.
The sizing chart said that if my hand was 4 inches across, then I should buy a size large. My hand is a little bit less than four inches across, but just to be safe, I went with the large. The fingers and thumb, on the right hand especially, seem to be a little small.
All told, I have been really glad to get these to add to my riding gear.

These gloves are fantastic for the price riding in 10 to 15 degree weather they keep your hands warm an the wind from coming up your sleeve. I would take them over any of the higher priced gloves. Thank you motor cycle super store for a great product.

Tour Master Synergy Gloves
The gloves are a quality product and would be terrific even if not heated. My problem is even though I wear an extra large these gloves are extremely tight especially the web between the thumb and forefinger. So tight they are too uncomfortable to ride with. If you are thinking about ordering these make sure you go one size larger than you require.

Tour Master - Synergy Heated Leather Gloves
My biggest gripe is that you cannot use the included temperature controller if you wish to plug the gloves into the synergy jacket liner (which has convenient plugs stowed in each wrist). My liner is almost always on 'low', but I have to deal with the extra standalone wiring to be able to turn the gloves on 'high'. That's poor wiring design in my book. I ordered a size up, and it's snug, so I'm glad I didn't order my normal size.

Happy with these gloves
Worn these 4 times now down to 45 weather. Rode with a group and they were all frozen hands, mine were toasty.
The do fit tight, but they need to work properly. Tips of fingers are not quite as warm as the rest but not cold. Thumbs were cooler than the rest of the hand, maybe a little cold after 30 minutes of riding when its 45 outside. They are a little bulky, but still very functional, can't imagine how they can be any better and still be warm. Electrical hook-up was extremely easy.

Great for Winter Bass Fishing
I bought 3 pair of these gloves (and also the jacket liners,) for my husband and sons for Christmas and they love them. They are dedicated bass fishermen but boating in Virginia in the winter can be a blistering cold experience. They connect these in the boat and are amazed at how warm these and the liners keep them. I bought the wrong sizes at first for some of the items, but Motorcycle Superstore made returning them and getting the right size amazingly easy and fast. I would highly recommend them, along with these gloves.

First Heated Gloves
This is my first pair of heated gloves so I have nothing to compare them with, but here are my thoughts. I have smaller hands, ordered medium gloves and the fit is just about perfect. Like others have commented the thumbs don't seem to be as warm as the fingers. I learned a little trick...instead of placing my thumbs around the grip I place them parallel with the grips and the heating element on the back of my thumb warms them up quickly. I don't ride that way for long, but it does work great. They have extended my riding by months...here it is January and I am still riding in 25-30 degree weather. I would recommend them.

Tour Master - Synergy Heated Leather Gloves
I've had the liner for about a month and worn it through low 20 degree weather for extended periods. I've heard the complaints of the thumb being unheated, but I haven't experience that problem myself.
There is a lot of fabric and stuff in the gauntlet area of the glove that I haven't figured out how to control yet, but it is not a problem either.
The gloves are new and I hope they break in better, but the manufactured curve of the hand needs to be increased. It currently takes a small amount of effort to hold the grip, but that small effort over many miles does start to result in a looser grip than I like. But they are brand new.
They have the rubber face shield squeegee - bonus.
I recommend this product.

Sometimes Common Sense is needed
When its in the mid 30s and your driving 60 mph the wind chill is in the mid teens. The faster you go the colder it is. The gloves do have a heat element in the thumb, but it is on the top of the thumb just as the rest of the glove is set. When your riding down the road put your thumb behind the throttle as a wind break and you will fell the heat. Try slowing down do the math. Every 5 miles faster you go drops the temp another 1 deg in temp. My recent trip in the 20s for 3 hrs went great. Worth the money.

They work!
I ride through mid December in sub-zero temps at high speeds for almost an hour each way. These gloves keep my hands warm all the way to work every time. They are too big, and there is a warning that they are less effective if they don't fit right, but I have no complaints. They even have a little wiper on the left thumb to clear your visor. I always start them on high and back them down if they get too warm. They take much longer to warm up after you get on the highway. It is much easier to hook up the cables before you put the gloves on. These are one of the best accessories I have purchased.

Toasty Warm Hands
Heated gloves $130. Warm hands on a 25 degree day, priceless. The wiring is a little cumbersome, but these gloves are awesome. They fell a little tight at first but after you wear them a couple of times they feel great. I rode on a 25 degree day and my hands were very warm.

thumbs are NOT heated...
I really like these EXCEPT one IMPORTANT fact the thumb ISN'T heated... I think this is a big deal because it makes it meaningless to have heated gloves when your thumbs go numb... I live in the bitter cold area of Utah and ride year around so these aren’t very helpful in keeping my hands warm on long distant cold days...On a good side I have the 4XL and I have really big hands and the fit is pretty good...

Not a bad deal
I have been waiting to review these gloves until I had some real cold weather to test them in. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would rate these gloves a 7. When the temp is above 50 these gloves work great. Yesterday the temp was 36. Although the gloves did not keep my hands toasty warm they did make the ride bearable. If I unplugged the gloves my hands would have been in pain. I do agree that Tour master needs to make the thumbs warmer since they are the part that gets cold the fastest.

Synergy Heated Leather Gloves
Nice glove fits well and it’s nice that the controller can be mounted right in the glove leaving just wires leading to the power source, the cig lighter on my Electra glide. The gloves heat the front of the hand and fingers very well; I have ridden on some very cold day. On the down side there is not enough electrical heating elements leading to the thumb and the thumb can get downright cold. All in all I do like the glove, it has some very neat features that I like such as being waterproof and is very light weight.

HEATED GLOVES
I find the gloves provide sufficient heat, are finished well but for a large, are small. Although my hands are not large they fit snugly. Perhaps they will loosen up with wear. I don't like how the heat control is fitted to the glove. Specifically, you need to remove the control from the glove pouch and then unplug the unit in order to remove the glove. The controller should remain with the glove when the glove is unplugged.

Synergy Heated Leather Gloves
Not very happy with the gloves. There good in 40 degree and above. Just barely passable in colder weather. Drove in 22 degree weather for about a hour to work and thumb and pointer finger extremely cold. Connect easy to jacket liner but very awkward when connecting directly to power cord. You have to run wires up both arms and then down to connect to the power cord. Not easy, infact very aggravating.

Synergy Heated Gloves
I ride my Goldwing everyday. I don’t own another vehicle. With that being said I count on my gear and have grown to love the Synergy Heated Apparel. As already stated in this review Synergy Heated Gloves are lacking in heat for the thumb. I would like to see an element run down the thumb on the outside. Do not let the gloves get wet as the usefulness drops to zero. Once wet you can feel little to no heat. The jacket is a nuclear oven and will provide all the warmth you could want as the operator, I’m not sure what the performance is like for a passenger. The controller must be removed from the gloves every time you take off your gear which is a little time consuming on the short runs. Overall great product for the money!!!

Really Disapointed
Wore my gloves for the first and last time today. I am back early from my ride because my thumbs were about frozen. It is about 30 degrees out and the gloves were on high for the entire time. The fingers got warm but the thumbs had no warmth at all. This is the first product from Tour Master that has been less than wonderful. Sure glad that Motorcycle Superstore is so good about returns!

Tourmaster Synergy Gloves in really cold weather
I've had the Synergy heated gloves for about a month and the vest with collar since Christmas. I've had a chance to test them in really cold Michigan weather. The gloves don't feel as hot as the vest. I have to keep the vest on low in all but the coldest weather, less than 20 degrees, but the gloves are usually set on high. Though they don't feel that warm, riding when the temp was 18 degrees was comfortable and warmer than using my Winter Elite gloves. But now I have a problem with them. Worked one day last week, but the next day wouldn't come on. Not sure where problem is, wiring harness or temp controller, but waiting to hear back from Tourmaster. Glad to have the Winter Elites to wear. I've worn both for short rides when temp 11 degrees along with insulated jump suit and heavy leather jacket and kept comfortable, 40 minutes when 24 degrees.

heated gloves warm & bulky
The connectors are very large and hard to tuck under your sleeves so you can pull the strings tight enough to keep out the air , I rode at 50mph about 75 mi at 42 deg.f ,fingers were toasty with setting on hi. I found it easy to reach over to change settings . Price was a little high and plastic temp control pocket won't last long I bet.

I am extremely happy with the gloves. Riding up the freeway at 70MPH and a temperature of 40 degrees, I had the gloves set on medium and I was very comfortable. I now also have the jacket liner. I haven't had a chance to use the two together, but I don't imaging that I will be disappointed.

I took a 200 mile ride in 20 degree weather and I had my electric vest and gloves on, my hands were not toasty warm but they did not bother me at all. I have no wind protection so the gloves were getting hit with frigid air at 70mph for 4 hours and my hands were not cold. I think that’s fantastic.

These are great!!!
I have the jacket liner, pants liner and the matching gloves. I wear them under a snowmobile suit. They were very easy to install and everything was included that you need. Since I installed them the temp has been 20-30 degrees or so several times and even got as low as 7 degrees once. The only thing I have actually had to turn on so far was the gloves and they worked great. These are reasonably priced and do exactly what they say they will do. They also appear to be water proof. I'm not positive about that yet but I know the jacket liner kept me dry once in a fairly good rain when my snowmobile suit failed to. I highly recommend the synergy heated gear to anyone who's going to be riding in the winter.

In the mid to lower 40's these gloves keep my hands from being COLD but they are still cool. I read a few reviews where they stated they had to turn them down because they were too hot. Well, mine get a little warm when I have them on while sitting in my garage but even then they are just warm. Never do they get close to hot. I have emailed TourMaster so we will see what they have to say.
