In instances where you do not need the skullcap, just pull back off your head and use the neckgaiter part only.

Cedar San diego,  CA Not for me It does what it needs to do keeps your neck and face warm but its way too thick. The double layer of fleece is too much for my full face helmet to fit but I'm pretty sure if you have an openface helmet its well worth it, but not for me.
