Just Ok, but for the price I cannot complain
For the price this was a good purchase. It did help some, but did not help keep my neck warm at all in the 30s. Plus it is pretty thin so not sure about the durability.

Good product
I bought this one and the comfortex balaclava from them, very close price between them. This one will do the job but is more for fall or temperatures no lower than 50 degrees in my opinion. Other than that its pretty good. The neck part of it is not long enough so doesn’t really stop the wind coming up.

Works great on the flightline
I use this item for work when downloading planes on the flightline when their engines are running on 110 degree days. This thing works great. The goggles I wear over it don't fog up. It's tight enough that the hot air by passes my nose and ears (which usually get the worst of heat), but still comfortable enough that it's soon easy to forget you're even wearing it.
It also serves as excellent cover from the hot sun. It doesn't absorb too much heat from direct sunlight. Best way to describe it to compare the item to the shade and protection you receive from wearing a hat.
I know this website sells motorcycle accessories. I haven't used this product for that purpose. But if you're looking for a good balaclava to wear while working in a hot dry desert environment, then I would definitely recommend this product.

The only complaint I have about this item is the fit. It is a one size fits most, but that doesn't include a big head like mine. Pulling it over my size 8 1/2 head makes the balaclava sit way short of my neck.

Worth it
Holds up, very durable and helps against win and rain, but just a little annoying that the seam goes right from my nose down to my throat. It's a little thin compared to most, but it still works well against the cold.

River Road Balaclava worth the money
After seeing a friend with one of these balaclavas I decided I needed to get one. I have only used it a couple of times but I can tell a big difference when wearing it in the cold morning rides. One thing I noticed other folks had commented on was the seam down the middle being a problem. I turned the balaclava inside out and the seam was no problem for me.

Good for the price
This is pretty inexpensive the seam people complain about isn’t that bad, but does get a little annoying sometimes, but nothing that would deter me from buying it. I would suggest picking this up if you need something. Keeps my head a little warmer in the cold and fits well. Also keeps my headphones jamming in my ear! :)

Cheap but warm Balaclava
It's very thin and will fit in your pocket no problem, but is surprisingly warm. With this and a scarf I'm warm and cozy in 30 degree weather at highway speeds. The seam is poorly placed right on your nose/mouth, but you get what you pay for. Fits fine with a 7 1/8" head.

Good enough for moderate cold weather
For this balaclava works well for the fall and probably will use it during the spring. I could not see using this in the winter (not in the northeast anyway) but it works when the temp is around 50 - 60. I know some reviews complain about it covering the nose or mouth, but for the most part I haven't found that to be a problem for me. I did start wearing it inside out so that the seam doesn't bother my face. I think for the price it is perfect and I am happy to have it as part of my gear repository :)

Almost what I needed...
I bought this with the hope it would cover my throat from the wind. In fact, it barely makes it past my chin. I have to say I appreciate the warmth on my cheeks during cold rides, something I didn't have before. Someone wrote that the seam on the inside is irritating…yep. All in all, for the price, it was worth the experiment and I do get some benefit from it, but I really wanted it to extend way past my throat to stop the drafts down my chest.

Don't be fooled by first impressions
When I first received my balaclava, I was a bit skeptical. The material seemed very thin. But, after wearing it, I discovered that it gave me just the right amount of wind protection under my full face helmet. I live on the Oregon coast where temperatures stay relatively mild; if I was in a colder climate, I would probably want something a little warmer. My only gripe is the fit. The seam runs down the middle of my nose, which makes it a bit unconformable at times. Also, the cutout for the eyes is a bit too narrow for my head, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get it positioned just right under my helmet. But at a price, it does its job quite well.

The balaclava works well but there are two problems I encountered with it. First, because I have a larger head, the one size fits most is a little small for me. Second, the seam on the balaclava joins right on the front of your face. The gathered material sits right in the middle of my nose, making it a bit uncomfortable.
