Cyndi Durham,  NC Nice jacket I just received my Taos jacket this evening. Out of the box I was impressed at the quality and finish of this jacket. The fabric feels durable enough for a slide and I like how the armor doesn't make me look like a football player! Zippers seem sturdy and there are plenty of pockets for items like your cell phone, chapstick, pack of gum, iPod, etc. The liner isn't very thick and zips out easily. I am very hard to fit and rarely ever find a jacket that fits me perfectly, especially when ordering from a catalog, but the fit of this jacket was much better than other similar styled jackets I've tried. The sleeves were a tad bit long but the cuffs have ample hook and loop material to adjust around the wrists and the armor cinches on the sleeves are easy to adjust and snap even with gloves on. The neck is just the right width without choking me. There was plenty of room to wear my heated jacket liner underneath. I would have liked to have seen zippered hip adjusters on the sides. RR has adjustable hook and loop tabs which are just ok but tend to pop loose when seated on your bike. Hopefully the fabric will loosen up with use. Sizing was right on the money according to RR's chart. If you are looking for a good winter touring jacket without breaking the bank, I'd certainly recommend the Taos.
