My search for the perfect Mesh Jacket is over!
I tried on several mesh jackets w/ armor and this one was the best for me. Since I live in Texas, the heat can be horrendous. I like riding in safety gear to protect myself should I crash so I have been on the search for a jacket with a lot of mesh to let in as much air as possible. While riding yesterday, I could feel the air on my arms and chest. It has a liner, which I promptly removed. Since I have other jackets for cooler weather, I don't anticipate ever needing it. I got this one strictly for riding in the heat. As far as fit, I have long arms for my 5' 8" frame and am a bit long waisted. I almost always wear a size L. I am 145 lbs, fairly chesty, have a waist and am a bit wide across the shoulders. Because of all that, I often need to get a size 12. Of course, they are usually too big in middle. I tell you this so you can get a clear picture of how this might fit you. Motorcycle jackets usually fit my arms because they're made longer in the sleeves, but the body length is usually short. I like this one because it fits me like a charm and is very comfortable. It also doesn't have logos all over it & has a nice, feminine shape so I don't look like a Linebacker. It has Cordura on the shoulders, elbows and bottom-side of the forearms - the slide zones. The only negative I see is it has zero reflective material.
