Very pleased. Fits snug, gives me the protection I wanted. I did find out in Rider Safety School that helmets must be replaced every 3-4 years because the styrofoam deteriorates and loses its protective qualities. I am very pleased with your service, the delivery speed, and your follow-up.

HJC-AC3 LOVE the FIT
I'm a big guy and was concerned about the sizing and ordering this helmet online. But IT IS PERFECT. I've already put 1600 miles on it. I like its light feel and comfort on the ears. I also have an intercom system and this helmet is PERFECT for those in helmet speakers and microphone. The vent is a little weak but that is minor. I was surprised at a few paint "dings" caused by bugs and road stuff. But I’d rather it hit the helmet than my head though.

HJC - AC-3 Helmet & Sheild
I bought two, one for me and one for my wife. We both are very happy with them. The fit and comfort is good and unnoticeable when wearing them. We have not had any trouble with the units. Air vents work well and the mechanics of the vents is constructed well too. If this is your type of helmet I would recommend it.

Wow, what a great helmet!
The HJC AC-3 is not only DOT approved but also Snell approved. It is very well made, rugged and strong, but yet lightweight. The fit is snug but not too snug - I mean, not so tight that it gives you a brain cramp! The ventilation in the helmet is excellent and there is no road noise or howling or whistling either. Wow... what a great helmet! I needed a new helmet and was using an old Vega full face as a "loaner" helmet. The AC-3 helmet has such a great fit and the peripheral vision (almost 180* - maybe more!) is amazing. I decided to get the AC-3 after trying on a model in a motorcycle store (but not in the color I wanted). I opted for the clear full face visor too and that was easy to snap on and off too. Ordered this after returning the Bell Mag-8. I really like my AC-3 (Matte). Though it looks a bit wide with just the visor (bobble head), I think it looks really good with the shield. BTW - I bought the dark tinted shield and can still ride at night with very little loss of vision in lighted areas. Paint is very good. Fit is a tiny bit tight but break-in should fix that. I measured my head and purchased accordingly. The size recommendations are small. I had this helmet on for about two minutes and the headache was too much to bear. It is well constructed, but it is quite a bubble. I felt like Jack (clown/ceo from jack in the box) or maybe George Jetson. I returned it and ordered a size up AC-2 which I love. I love my AC-3 helmet. The visor is really nice. I don't get too much wind in my eyes, and I like the flip up capability. The fit is great, and it came in the color I wanted.

I like the AC3 helmet because I can leave in the morning with the shield while it is cool. put visor on during the day then shield back on at night for bugs.

LOVE IT!!!! It is light, cool, attractive, and fits very well. The ear holes allow me to put my cb earphones in with no problems (my other helmet it was a struggle). I got the reflective pearl white...hubby says it is a great choice for nighttime.

I always wore a full face but wanted a helmet for summer riding after looking at many brands of helmets I decided on the HJC Ac-3. It fits like a glove feels very light, looks good and I was able to mount ear speakers. Great helmet.

Bought a Silver Helmet 2 years ago when they first came out. Enjoyed it so much, I bought one for my wife and another one (Matte Black) for the second one. Still have the first one, but you can never have to many helmets. Best helmet I have ever owned. I wear it in the Winter with the Shield and in the summer with the Visor. Great ventalation. Removable washable liner, makes it feel like new, after washings.

Bought this helmet in May 2004. I would definitely buy this helmet again. If it cost the same as the Arai or Shoei helmets I would still purchase this helmet. It has ear pockets for speakers, a removable face shield or visor, it's liteweight and comfortable and the price is the ultimate bonus. I added car sunscreen material to the bottom of the face shield so in the up position it acts as sun visor.

I have been using this helmet for over 5 months in all kinds of weather. It protects very well.
I use two shield...smoke in day and clear at night. very easy to switch out.

Recently bought an AC3 locally. The one I tried on was too tight so the saleman custom-fitted it for me. The cheek pads are removable, and he tried in several sizes before finding just the right fit. Also bought a full shield, which is very nice. That way I can wear sunglasses during the day, but have a clear shield at night. Very convenient. Now the fit is perfect!!

Outstanding Helmet!
This helmet is outstanding! I own this and an Arai Quantum F full face. This is one of the very few open face helmets to actually pass the Snell 2000 testing. I love the removable liner and the face shields! I rarely use the included visor. Two minor gripes that are completely fixable: 1. The foam isn't as smooth as the Arai (which is 3x the price of this helmet) and it required some gentle smoothing out. Once that was done, this helmet easily rivals the Arai for comfort. The other is that mater
