This is my 3rd XTS tribal helmet. I bought mine 2 yrs. ago and just purchased 2 more for my wife and daughter. I have other helmets that are nice but the XTS fits better and has a unique look with the tribal markings. I have not seen another like mine... I like that. I have also had a lot of compliments. Great helmet/great price.....THANKS!

This helmet has done fine for me the last eight months. I got this one because it's almost half the price of the same Vega helmet that is flat black. Even at high speeds, it stays on my head very well. And the only way to not have a mushroom head is to ride with an illegal helmet. So if you don't think you look cool with all the padding, then just: 1. get a sharpie, 2. buy a solo cup, 3. write "DOT" on the back. Now slap that on your noodle and go play Sons of Anarchy.

The helmet looks great, fits well, half helmet design allows for lots of air flow, and the price is unbeatable. This helmet would be great at 2x the price.
okay, but...

Maybe since I'm used to a full-face helmet, this one tends to ride up my forehead as my speed increases. And if I put the strap on nice and tight, I cut off flow to my brain. Not good. Still, for slower speeds around town, under 35 mph, it's a fun helmet. For higher speeds, I'll stick with my ff.
Doesn't make me look like a fool!

I wear a small and most helmets like this make me look terrible. This was the first one I can wear and not worry about it. Finally! Got it on sale so that made it even better.

I have been riding for years. I have a very small head, it fits nice and looks nice. I am very happy with the fit. Good helmet for the price!
Best fitting DOT half helmet that I have found.

The Vegas XTS fit me better than any other DOT half helmet that I have tried. As others mentioned, it is made for oval shaped heads and sits low on my head (many others sit high). The straps at the ears, especially the right side on mine, creates a lot of wind buffeting. It ducts air right to my ear, if I twist the strap a little it goes away. Maybe thicker straps or some padding on the inside might eliminate this noise. Overall, I am happy with this helmet and would definitely buy it again.
SERIOUSLY????

Anyone who wrote that this helmet does not look like a mushroom head had to have been paid to say it. This helmet is humongous!!! Pulled down over my eyebrows this thing looks like a 5 gallon bucket. I feel like the dark helmet from spaceballs. I was going to buy the leather wrapped one but thought that I'd buy the cheaper one to check how it fit first. Glad I did. It's overall a nice DOT helmet as far as the looks of the helmet and the padding and all but I'll never wear it while riding.
