First Gear Teton Jacket
Great buy. This has a collar that chafes my neck after a short time. Very annoying and will have to be dealt with by the local seamstress, I think to protect my neck.
I read the reviews about guys using the jacket in cold weather. No way with my jacket. It will require a much better under layer than what I had on today and it was only 50.
Lots of good pockets and appears well made. I like the zippered closure + hook & loop on the sleeves. Much better than the Kilimanjaro w/ only the hook and loop closure.

First Gear Teton Jacket
Outstanding jacket. Well made and absolutely 100% weatherproof. Not for mild temps or climates. This jacket is completely wind and waterproof. I often ride in 20 to 30 degree weather and use Firstgear heated liner under Teton shell but normally do not even turn on the liner unless below 30 degrees. Very durable well made jacket. If you are looking for a cold weather jacket, look no further!!

I'm 6'6” and 190lbs. I ordered the XL-Tall. It fits great and a large would not have worked. I drive a V Strom and a WR250R, so I wanted a jacket for cold weather that would be good for both street riding and off-roading. This jacket is great and doesn't have all the lame logos and stupid zippers that you find on most jackets. The liner is very similar to a windproof fleece and is less bulky than my previous jacket. I got this jacket at a great price because it was last year’s model. They are regularly around $400 and Motorcycle Superstore had them on sale for around $220. The only complaint I have is with the neck closure. I'm hoping it will loosen up a bit with more wear. Other than that it is great.

Great fit and function jacket
I ordered the Tall-L jacket and it fits my tall frame like a glove. I love the fit. I've worn jacket in August in NY area, and it has enough vents to be comfortable up to about 80 degrees, and will be good to temperatures probably around 45 degrees with the liner (haven't tried those temps yet). Overall I'm really pleased with the style, fit, and price of the jacket.

Great jacket. Fairly light yet very protective, stylish, comfortable, nice internal liner jacket that is wonderful to wear after the days ride.

Not too shabby
Used the sizing chart and it fit fine. Little wider in the shoulders than I would like and a little bit short at the waist - but other than that I am very satisfied. Holds up great against the rain and is cool enough (when the liner is removed) to wear in the summer.

Great jacket regardless, but a fantastic value!
Cheaper than Rev'it! But more expensive than Joe Rocket... but WAY better than JR textiles (construction, waterproofness, etc.). Good fit, good materials, large reflective panels, comfortable armor (with the Knox armor, I barely remember there's armor while riding), waterproof...Vents work pretty good and draw-cords keep vents open, tho they get a little hampered if you wear a backpack (still worked better than my leather the Teton replaced). Haven't had it on for days over 85°F yet, but 80°F was perfectly comfortable. 58°F without the liner and just a T-shirt was OK this morning, but starting to get cool where the shell pressed against my skin. Pockets are pretty tight against the body of the jacket, but that's the price for the sleek styling. For bigger pockets go for the 3/4 Rainier. There are lots of pockets tho! Shell is waterproof... so you don't need to put in a waterproof liner. Either way, the liner/windbreaker jacket (can be worn by itself and looks "normal") is also wind/water resistant.

BACK ARMOR COULD BE BETTER
I am happy with my jacket a great fit. I have not had a chance to wear in the rain. I took out the back armor and saw that it looked cheap and not (ce) rated so I bought a vest from icon that has better back protection.

Teton jacket
Great jacket to use with the escape pants. I purchased both as a set and I must say I am pleased with my purchase. Both fit just right first time out. Good solid construction, neat features, style looks good but the front of the collar is a bit annoying. I worked it a little and got it better but it does bug the way it comes. I've worn leather suits in the past but this one is more comfortable and weather resistant and the armor is a benefit I didn't have with prior suits. All in all great fit and finish for the money.

Firstgear - Teton Jacket
This is a great jacket. Fit, finish and all the options are there. Sizing was not a problem, go with the chart. I give it a 5 out of 5.

Comfortable & Great looking
I am 5ft 10in, 170lb and the large size fits me perfect. There isn't much room for extra layers when the inner lining is inside but there also isn't much of a need. I've ridden in weather as cold as 24 degs with just a tshirt and a light sweater on underneath and not felt cold. With the liner out it should work great for spring and fall. Great jacket!!!

First Gear Teton Jacket
This is a first class product. The idea of having a Kevlar reinforcement built in is a real plus for protection. The features are great - zip-out liner that can be worn as separate jacket, hood hidden in the collar which can be worn under a helmet to prevent water running down your neck and a host of other neat ideas. I am well pleased with this jacket.
