Jacket is well built, many pockets, vented to let air in. Fits well, spent more money on less of a jacket. Good BANG for the Buck.

Great jacket
This thing is GREAT! Looks great, fits great, tons of pockets, and great ventilation. I've worn it from 35-80 degrees so far with no problem. Sunny days above 80 degrees are a bit warm even without the liner and with the vents opened, but I did get mine in black. Low temps. with the liner are no problem with only a t-shirt underneath because of how well this jacket cuts the wind. Great price for an excellent jacket.

Great jacket
I wore the jacket on a recent 850 mile ride in temperatures from the mid-forties to upper-seventies. The jacket performed well without its liner. I really liked the adjustable vents although, when I rode without a windshield, the jacket had a tendency to balloon at high speeds (70-85 mph). Behind a windshield it was much better. This jacket works well in cool to cold temperatures. I don't believe it would be very comfortable in the eighties or above. I haven't had a chance to test its waterproofness yet but it appears to be sealed well. I think it is a good value for the money.

Transition Jacket
Great jacket for cold weather as long as you layer underneath. I have not tried it in warm weather yet. I wear a mesh jacket in summer. If you have large arms you should move up one size as the arms are tight with the liner installed. Plenty of storage and good ventilation. Excellent price. I would surely buy it again.

Great Jacket
The jacket is warm and fits great. It has plenty of pockets and the ventilation works great also. At 6' 1" I chose the long which was the right choice.

almost perfect
This jacket is WARM with the liner in. Though it is solid, it is not bulky and allows great mobility. There are almost too many pockets. The pockets are so well hidden that sometimes you might have trouble finding things as you might forget where you put them! The only problems I have had are that the Velcro on the collar sometimes sticks to my helmet strap on my Shorty, and the zipper is a little tricky to get going. Aside from that this is an excellent cool/cold weather jacket. Have ridden in 42 degrees and my core stayed completely warm and therefore the rest of me was comfortable as well. Bought the Hi-Viz, and people have commented that they can literally see me a mile away.

Transition II Too Much
Not in cost, bought it on sale!.....But, it exceeded my expectations on a recent Southern Utah Autumn Tour. Although my Fieldsheer Outlaw insulated leather jacket suits most of my riding needs, I purchased the Tour Master Tarnsition II, in yellow, for the colder parts of the trip and my expanding touring schedule. It proved to be the most awesome of jackets. Heavy, durable, waterproof, comfortable, plenty of venting and storage pockets, and stylish and true in size too. It allowed for plenty of unrestricted movement as well. I chose the yellow to go with my Sunglo-Blue '06 Electra-Glide and match my ol' alma mater colors, blue and yellow (Northern Arizona University). My brother he bought one in the lime-green (he's big into safety visibility). I can't imagine a finer colder weather touring jacket out there, if there is, buy it.

Been wearing the jacket since late august and it has served me well. It’s warm, and seems durable. Have not been caught in a down-pour yet, so i can’t speak to its waterproofness yet.

The Tour Master Transition 2 Jacket Exact fit
I offered a review on this Jacket before but it seems they want me to review it again. I have not had a chance to wear it regularly as it is regularly OVER 100 F - here in Phoenix. The jacket is better looking in person. This Jacket is warm, the ventilation is Excellent However, so I can use it up to 80 degress at 65 to xxx MPH with the monster vents wide open. The velcro is tough. It closes over every pocket, zipper and vent with the same vigorous attitude. This jacket is definitely weather proof.
FIT FIT FIT! I ordered the SMALL and the fit is EXACT for me. I am 5'8 exactly. I have a 39" chest I now weigh in at 160-165 on any given day. My build is athletic. The mid section and arms in this jacket are greatly adjustable and the armor is secure, not slipping all over the place. I can't remember my exact arm length but the cuff fit is exactly over my wrist bone and ends exactly where my wrist bend is. My gauntlet gloves fit nicely over the cuffs and arms. My summer icon gloves fit right up to the cuff. This jacket is built tough and the one zip liner is excellent. If you order true to size like I did you will not have a lot of room for extra body armor or anything heavy under it. Honestly you won’t need anything under this jacket because it does it all. Way to go tourmaster.

Tour Master - Transition Series 2 Jacket
While I was shopping for an email discounted Kilimanjaro Jacket and actually added to shopping basket one for me and one for girlfriend and paid for it. I seen this jacket too and both had "Video" explaining all the features. After going head to head I felt this Jacket would be better on hotter summer days. I received an immediate email with my order# then called the MS Customer Service and they immediately canceled by previous order (got another email confirming the cancellation) and was told I could proceed with my Tour Master - Transition Series 2 Jacket order. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Received the Jackets with 3 days free shipping and the FIT CHART was SPOT ON. Fit like a champ. Best Jacket for Protection and the Buck $$$. If you like a bit more room in your jacket you best order one size bigger and don't guess sizes... get out the measuring tape. FANTASTIC JACKET

The best fitting jacket-period
I have owned several riding jackets. I have tried on more than I care to remember. This is Absolutely the best most exact fitting jacket I have ever put on. I am exactly 5'8", 161 lbs. and fit-not muscular. I have a 39 inch chest measurement and usually wear medium sizes in street clothes. It is true to their size chart. The jacket is so true to size it's like they measured and built it specifically for me. The arm length is exactly over my wrist bone not short, NOT all the way past my wrist to my hand. The build of this jacket is strong and heavy even without the liner in and is warm. Pockets everywhere, single zipper-zip out thermal liner, massive shoulder venting from just above the elbow all the way up above the shoulders with dual chest-abdomen vents. THE ARMOR STAYS PUT. There is so much Velcro you'll eventually go nuts if you get in and out of it allot, BUT, if you order any other mid to cold weather jacket you will miss out on perhaps one of the best jackets being made today. By the way the jacket is better looking than the pictures show it to be and the shoulders aren't as square as they look in the picture. Good riding, be safe.

Tour Master Transition 2 Jacket
After a month of riding with the jacket I have to say it has lived up to what I hoped it would do, which was be an all-around jacket for any riding condition. The multiple vents help to keep me cool even behind a full fairing and windshield. It would probably do an even better job in the open air. I just wish it had vents in the arms as this area gets warm. I've rode in the rain on two occasions and it has kept me dry. The finish is lacking some as there are many areas there are loose threads and need to be trimmed. Pockets are plentiful both in and out and carry just about anything you might need. The sleeve pocket is slick, but could be a little bit larger as it just fits a credit card or driver’s license. I have received several nice comments about the jacket from fellow riders and it looks good in the bright red I purchased it in. Since I ride through December here in Michigan, with the liner installed, I hope it keeps me as warm as my Honda brand jacket I retired. I've rode in below zero wind chills and time will tell if the jacket will excel in this area. Shipping was quick and Motorcycle Superstore had the best price. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who is looking for a good all-around 3/4 length jacket at a great price (free shipping too).

tour master transition series 2
I recently bought the transition 2 jacket for a trip to Colorado. Temperatures ranged from the low 30's to the mid 70's. The jacket is just a little bulky but I don't have much to compare it to. With the lining in, the jacket was very warm in the 30's. With the lining out, I was surprised that the jacket was still comfortable with the temperature in the low 70's. I also spent one day mostly in the rain and I never once got wet. I did have some trouble with the lining zipper, but I don't know if that will be a repeating problem. Plenty of pockets and storage and good choice of colors. Basically, I got the jacket to keep me warm and dry in the Colorado mountains and it did a very good job of both. I suspect the jacket will get plenty of use this winter.

Tour Master-Transition Series 2 Jacket
I apologize for my delay in answering your review request but I just returned from a 3 week motorcycle camping trip in the Rockies of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho-wearing my new jacket, of course! I found it to be even beyond my expectations-warm and comfortable in below-freezing temperatures and cool in very hot weather. With all the vents open it was actually cooler than riding in just a T-shirt. But with all the outstanding features on this jacket the one that impressed me the most was the color-I got it in Hi-visibility yellow and now people really see me coming-have had no-one pull out in front of me since I started wearing this jacket about 6 weeks ago--I'm completely amazed, and I've been riding for 61 years. Was also impressed by Motorcycle-Superstore's promptness in delivery-4 days to Canada from the day I placed the order.

Transition Series 2 Jacket (Wonderful!)
This jacket has exceeded my expectations. I have ridden over a thousand miles with it anywhere from 41 degrees to 80 degrees. Vents very well, had one ride in the rain, stayed warm and dry. At 5'5" 220 lbs. it's hard to find things that fit. XXL is a little long but fits everywhere else just fine. Great styling and features. Hope to get many years use from this product. I highly recommend this jacket.

Transition Series 2 Jacket Is Not An All Season Jacket
Hot Hot Hot that is all I can say about this jacket in the summer time. The vents are there and they do help as long as you are moving but don't get caught in traffic on a hot day, you will burn up. It should be a great spring and fall jacket and some winter riding. Love all the pockets but wish the front bottom two were bigger and easier to put things into them. Have not road it in the rain yet, in fact when I realize how hot this jacket was I ordered a Tourmaster air jacket for the summer season which I love. Fall is here so I will start wearing it soon.

Much Better
The material was coming apart in at least two places. The jacket was replaced by the manufacturer under the warranty. The replacement seems to be holding up just fine, so I feel safe in saying that the previous problems were an anomaly. Overall, I am very pleased with the fit, finish, and utility (multiple pockets and removable liner) of this jacket. The reasonable price point is an added bonus. I am 5'1'' and 215 pounds, and the large fits just right. The xl was a little too loose and crumpled up when leaned over.

Had to return it
The first time I used it the front vent area ripped out. I called Tourmaster & they wanted to see it because they said it was an unusual problem. MC Superstore exchanged the jacket for a new one with no hassles. I think it was a freak thing & I don't anticipate having any further problems. I love this jacket. It does great in the cold & wet. With the vents open it stays cool up to about 85* as long as your moving. Very well designed with great features.

Great Motorcycle Jacket
I've had my tourmaster jacket just long enough to know...it's great! The removable liner is perfect for summer riding. The jacket is very adjustable and user friendly. I'm female, 5'8", approx 160# -- I purchased the men’s LG., and the fit is perfect. Lots of pockets...a big plus.

A decent inexpensive jacket
It fits fairly well, but the sleeves are a bit tight in the forearms. I got the 2XL Tall, and at 6'4", I don't have to worry about showing the people behind me any buttcrack.
With the liner in, it's quite warm. I've worn it in temps down to about 50F without needing an additional sweatshirt. If you threw a heated vest on under it, I think it would suffice for year-round riding.
With the liner out, I've worn it in temps up to about 85F, and was pretty warm. Too warm. I tried opening the zippers, but forgot the back zipper and the jacket blew up like a balloon while I was on the freeway. I'm chalking this one up to user error, if the back were opened I think that would have helped a lot.

Tour Master - Transition Series 2 Jacket
Have not had much time to ride since receiving the jacket. Air flow is very good. A few threads to burn off, but otherwise appears to be well made. No shortage of pockets, there's a place to put everything. I've shown the jacket to a few friends and co-workers and everyone's eyes popped when they saw it because of the color/high vis yellow. I checked 4 stores on-line and Motorcycle Superstore had the best price with free shipping.

Tourmaster Transition 2 Jacket
I ordered an extra large jacket (high vis. yellow) because I didn't want a tight fit and wear an electric jacket at times. It fits good. It does seem to be too hot above 80 degree. I have worn the jacket for the past twelve days and it has performed as expected! I have won it in light rain and hail and did not get wet! Today I rode in 54 degree fog and was getting cold. It is getting dirty after twelve days of Alaska road construction dust and light rain. I will be travelling twelve more days before returning home and am sure I’ll get to test in heavy rain. I am satisfied with the jacket.

Great Hot Weather Jacket
I'm VERY pleased with this jacket. I purchased it as a replacement for my Cycleport jacket. The fit is excellent. All the seams look good and it hasn't leaked in any of the summer showers I've ridden through. As for durability, that's hard to measure in a month. I gave it a 5 because it's still sewn together and the zippers still work. The features are very thoughtfully designed. All things considered, it's a good value.
On the downside, the armor is not as substantial as that in my Cycleport, but I knew that when I purchased the jacket. I'm considering the Venture Air pants to go with, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

My first ride with this jacket was from western Colorado to Yellowstone. There was an assortment of weather conditions during the week. The Transition 2 jacket kept me warm in the cold weather and dry in the rain. It was a little too warm in the nicer weather and is a little heavier in its total weight than I would like. Overall, good jacket for the money and a very good jacket in cold or wet weather.

Tourmaster - Transition Series 2 Jacket
This jacket is fit for the purpose for which it is intended. Namely, to provide protection from the elements and the pavement in the unfortunate event you find yourself there. Very well constructed. It is a heavy jacket, especially with the armor installed. Not conducive to comfortable riding in a hot, humid environment. The vents help, but when the temperature and humidity are high, it's a hot garment. Although I have only had it a few weeks, I am certain it will be perfect for all seasons other than summer in the south. I recommend this product.

Wow, what a great all around jacket. I ordered the jacket about a month and a half ago and have used it many times since in cool, hot, wet weather. The fit is great with adjustments a-plenty to customize to your body type. The liner keeps me warm enough for cool mornings or evenings, but I will have to hold judgment for really cold weather till later. On those hot days the jacket has good ventilation, providing air scoops on the upper arms and shoulders as well as on your torso. I rode over the weekend and got caught in a downpour, my only complaint was trying to put the jacket on with wet arms. The lining sticks to your arms. This is a well made jacket with many features to fill your everyday riding needs. The cost is very reasonable and the quality outstanding. I love it!

Versatile Jacket
I tried on several jackets from Motorcycle Superstore and returned all except the Tour Master Transition Series 2. I have since logged over 1000 miles and am very pleased with the versatility of this jacket for commuting and day trips. It’s not as bulky as many other touring oriented textile jackets, but works very well in the ever-changing New England climate. This jacket keeps you warm at 40 degrees with the thermal liner installed and cool at 90 degrees by removing the liner and opening the numerous vents. I had to give it one “ding” for durability as one of the outer snaps pulled off, but Tour Master gives you extra snaps that are easily installed with a snap tool. The recommended sizing provided on the Motorcycle Superstore website was right on. I wear the jacket with the Tour Master Flex Pants which I also highly recommend.

Tour Master - Transition Series 2 Jacket
This is a great jacket. It is well constructed and comfortable to wear. Living in the mountains of Utah, I ride in all kinds of weather. So far, this jacket has been great in 45-80 degree weather. The liner is a little thin for colder weather and, although the jacket has many flow-through vents, it is just too hot past the 80 degree mark. I have been through several rain storms and stayed dry. I would recommend this jacket!

Tourmaster Transition 2 Hi Vis Yellow
We purchased 2 of the jackets for a ride to Alaska. They are waterproof, flexible, warm in the cold and cool when the liners are removed and vented. Primarily we wanted to be seen and the High Visibility Yellow really shows up to others on the Road. The 3/4 length is also nice as it does not bunch up.

Great Jacket for the Price
I got this jacket a few months ago, been using since then with no problems at all. I like the venting, helps keep you cool on the hot days. I haven't tried it yet on cool days yet but the liner that came with the jacket should keep me warm I would think.

Excellent jacket for all weather
Been in a downpour with this jacket. With all the vents zippered up, I was completely dry. With the liner removed, was not too hot in the heat (mid 80s) with slight humidity. When the vents are open, the jacket does tug a little above 50. Quality of the jacket is good but durability in unknown. The protective pads in the elbow, shoulder, and back do not intrude on the comfort.

Best non-leather coat I ever purchased
I was not sure if I would like the coat when I place my order. Since this is the coat I wear all the time. This is a warm coat for riding in the spring and fall. I do not put any sweater just a t-shirt and I have been riding in early morning where the temperature is only 2 degree C (36 F) and I was warm for the whole ride. The many strategically placed vents help to keep me cool when the temperatures are warm. The padding at the shoulders, elbows and back are so well integrated with the jacket that I barely feel they are there. The many pockets help to put phone and accessories without a bulk feeling while riding. The coat size I selected fit me perfectly well. The jacket looks great and very bike like. I recommend this jacket to everyone.

Tour Master Transition Series 2 Jacket
I LOVE this jacket! I searched for months for just the right yellow jacket!!
The sizing is not perfect. I am 5'7" tall and overweight, so to find a jacket that fits around my belly was more difficult than finding the right yellow color! I ended up with a man's XL, so the sleeves are a bit long, but that's ok.
The jacket itself is very well made - great pockets, nice little extras and even shoulder adjustments to go with the elbow adjustments. The zipper, though, is really hard to get started. As with other reviews I read, it should be metal, not plastic.
Finding the right size was the worst part. Sizing charts need to be more detailed and should inclued waist measurements.
All in all I LOVE THIS JACKET!!!!!

This is the first motorcycle jacket that I have ever purchased, so I don't have anything to compare it to. That being said I find it to be a good jacket. It fits fine and you have a lot of freedom of movement. It also keeps you warm on cool days and cool on hot ones. The flow through vents work very well. I like the removal liner feature. It gives you options on setting your level of comfort.
Overall its a fine jacket and great value. I would recommend it.

Very Pleased
After a lot of searching and reading reviews such as this one I settled on this jacket. From day one the jacket has fit like a glove with no adjustments required. I picked my bike up 2 weeks ago and had about a 90 min drive home. Weather was clear, wind steady at 20km/h gusting to 40-50km/h and the temp was a balmy 5c. Average cruising speed was 80km/h. I had this jacket and a turtle neck and was nice and toasty. Highly recommend this jacket.

Transition 2 Jacket
By far the best jacket I've ever owned. I used to only wear leather (it's cool, right?) but have found textile to be more comfortable, warmer, and more economical. If it's a little chilly out, zip in the liner. When it warms up, out comes the liner and open a vent or two. This jacket is a great deal at a reasonable price.

I purchase the gray jacket. I'm 6'1 180 and I was thinking XL, but after going to a local store to try it on first I decided on a XXL. It fits great, the straps on the sides and arms do a great job to tighten those areas, which help fit the wind. The vents also work great! With the liner in it was comfortable on a 30 degree day.

I bought this jacket as a winter riding jacket and to be more visible. The jacket arrived promptly. I have worn the jacket at temps in the high 20s F and it works very well. I really like the fit of this jacket and the adjustability of the fit. It seems to be just about as warm with or without the liner...the liner makes it a little bit tight so I don't use it too much. It has really been tested in warm weather yet, but that shouldn't be too far off. The pockets are convenient and the collar is very comfortable.

Everything is great except a few finishing details. There are many loose threads that were now properly trimmed when it was sewn together. The design of the pockets with a mesh type interior needs improvement as this material often and easily gets caught up in the zippers.

Starts Out Nice
I really liked the fit and finish of this jacket when I first received it. The build quality seemed quite good for its price. Unfortunately, that did not last. After only a few weeks, areas of fabric on the right sleeve began to fray and "pill" up. It really looks terrible. I am returning it for warranty service understanding that every now and then a bad one slips through. Hopefully the replacement will fare better than the original.

This jacket is great. The vent system is amazing. I have ridden in 70 degree weather all the way down to 22 degrees. You'll need an insulated base layer under the jacket in 20 degree weather. In 70 degree temperatures, you can remove the liner and open all of the vents, and it's like a forced air cooling system. TourMaster has really impressed me with their gear. I also own a full rain suit. I am definitely staying with this brand! :)

This is my second Tourmaster jacket. I love the fit and comfort of the transition jacket, but I will need to learn how to dress with it. Perfect. Best purchase so far of all my motorcycle gear. Great fit, features, comfortable, tons of options (liner, vents, pockets, etc etc). I get many compliments on how good it looks, too. I wouldn't care if it looked like a SpongeBob jacket as long as it was comfortable. It is. I still recommend that you Google the jacket, find a local dealer, and try on different sizes before buying from MS, which is the best deal.

Nice jacket. Warm. Weighs a fare amount. I ordered a 4XL. I'm usually a 3XL but experience tells me they usually run small. This one didn't so it's a tad big but there are enough adjustments on it to snug it down. Cost benefit is good but they could always be cheaper. Good Quality.

I Like This Jacket
It arrived quickly and fits well. There are pockets everywhere, even in the removable lining. The 3/4 length means there's coverage downtown and the sleeves can be tightened to keep out the wind. My newly retired jacket ballooned up at speed and actually choked me a little but this one stays up against me and if comfortable to boot. I've been finding new pockets every time I look it over. Take my advise, wait for the quality rather than running out to get just "a jacket." Thank you Superstore for the service and value. Now I'm saving up for some Response SC Road boots.

Great jacket!
My Transition Series 2 Jacket is everything I hoped it would be... it is comfortable, warm as toast, built like a tank, and has more pockets and adjustment features than expected. It's a little snug from the elbows to the wrists, but not enough to dissuade me from telling all you guys that it's a great jacket! No rain yet, and you'll need a neck gator cause you're fairly exposed there.

Great jacket for all weather
I've been using this jacket for the past year. I've used it in temperatures between 4deg to 90deg. It gets a bit chilly in freezing temps, but just warm enough to get through the trip. The jacket does have a few leak spots if not careful when putting it on and also builds up water in the forearms, but other than that is completely waterproof. I usually end up dry as a whistle riding in the rain. Riding in warm weather is manageable, though once stopped it gets a bit warm. there are plenty of vents otherwise to make sure you stay cool. As far as fit and features, the forearms are a bit snug with the liner in, but other than that the jacket fits perfectly and has an abundance of great features. Other than a few fuzzies, there is hardly any wear on this jacket at all and no loose threads. Great jacket for the price.

Great Jacket
I've worn it riding several times down here in Florida in the last few weeks. We've had everything from cold and rainy to hot (upper 70's already!). Jacket handles it all VERY well. Tons of pockets, comfortable, great wind protection, armor feels good without being too bulky. The only drawback (VERY minor) is getting sized. I am 6', 215 lbs, athletic build and I got the regular XL for a spring bike tour in Oregon. I think it fits pretty well, just a bit large overall and slightly long in the sleeve but better than being too tight/short in reg L. Recommend google-ing the jacket for Tourmaster dealers near you to try on a few then ordering here. MS is great. Still- LOVE THE JACKET.

Great Jacket
This jacket blocks the wind and cold. The vents allow for warmer weather riding and the liner allows for riding in colder weather. There are a lot of pockets and vents, and a lot of Velcro. Sometimes my sleeve will stick to my belly as I put it on, or my glove will stick to my sleeve. The only thing I would change is the way head-on wind can move the jacket back to push against my throat. The joint between the body and the left sleeve can creep into my underarm but I'll experiment with the elastic snaps and snug it up more. Overall, a great jacket with lots of storage and protection which makes me feels more secure on the bike.

Excellent!
Motorcycle superstore does it again...outstanding service..A review of the Tour Master Transition 2 Jacket..Don't think I've found all the pockets yet, excellent value...as good or better than my $600 jacket made in Germany...Cold weather test was good..wore a tee shirt, baseball jersey under the jacket, did 300 miles with temp 27-34 outside, 20 MPH cross wind...I was warm! No leaks, no problems...well...with balaclava to keep neck from chaffing per another write up, no problems...Shame I don't think I'll need my leathers now...

Great for the Money
This Jacket is great for the price. I just recently returned from a deployment to Afghanistan and was looking forward to riding the bike again. Yesterday the temperature was in the 30s and I decided to test the Jacket (and pants). Impressive to say the least. Both products kept out the cold well. A definite recommendation.

Deserves the name "Tour Master"
While we really don't get "wicked cold" here the temps can very 30 to 40 degrees during a single ride. This jacket has all the bells and whistles to keep me comfortable. I "up sized" "one" from the chart to have room for a heavy sweat shirt if I felt the need. This left me with a little budge in the middle, but there's an adjustment for that too! Typical Tour Master quality, nothing has fallen off or broken. Sleeves and body of the jacket are plenty long enough for my 6'2" frame. I guess my only complaint is that the sleeves in the forearm area are a little snug, I'm sure that's a good thing but over done IMHO! Overall I give it 4 1/2 thumbs up!

Nice all-around jacket, great value
Great jacket. Have ridden in warm as well as cold weather and the jacket has performed well. So far have only endured light rain, but without a problem. I'm 5-10 165 and wear a 40R jacket, and the Medium fits perfectly. There was one small stitching defect, but not worth swapping the jacket out, just adjusted it myself. If you had to buy just one all seasons jacket, this would be it. I have Alpinestars and Dainese jackets as well, but this one is the most versatile - I would take it on a long trip where I expect a variety of weather.

The best investment!!
I bought a brown color Transition 2 jacket and it was awesome! Fantastic. Being in Malaysia certainly put this jacket to the test. On the hotter side, I'd just remove the liner and with the vents open - i was impressed by the airflow. We're having like 30-35C here and it was COOL!! Heavy torrential monsoon rains are the worst and guess what?? I was dry - other than water coming down the 'short' collar; It was worth my money. Up in the mountains where it was also cold about 10-18C, it was very comfortable. Thanks Tourmaster!!

Great Jacket
Fit is true to size. I've ridden in 22 degree weather and stayed warm and comfortable. I stayed dry in a driving rain except for water down the back of my neck. The glove pockets are a little hard to get used to. It is very well made and a great value. I would definitely buy again.

Great Fit
I scoured the internet for days looking for the right cool weather jacket. I decided on this one. It is still quite new but the outlook is promising. I am hard to fit. I am 6ft 6in and 265 lbs. I wanted to Hi Viz Yellow but they don't make it in my size. I bought the XXL Tall. It fits like a glove. I like the features and hope the jacket holds up to wear and tear. I have been very comfortable on near freezing days. So far, so good.

Great Jacket! Very good fit, lots of adjustments. Rode in 20 degree weather with just a short sleeve shirt underneath and I stayed toasty warm! Only had a half hour ride but it did it's job perfectly. Motorcycle Superstore was the only one to have this jacket in stock. Fast shipping great service A+++

Good Jacket
Can't beat it for the price! It 'converts' from highly vented for hot weather to nice and warm for cold weather (has a removable liner too boot). The process of opening and/or closing all the vents is a bit time consuming, but worth it. Beats carrying two jackets. Tons of pockets, tons of velcro. Mine is large enough to put a sweater under it. Not as abrasion proof as leather but a close second with added mobility and style (not to mention lighter and cheaper). I have ridden 4k miles in it and it seems durable.

Tour Master - Transition Series 2 Jacket
The jacket is a great buy for the price and lives up to the advertisement about not having to change when the weather does. I live in Texas and this held true weekly. I have been caught in the rain a few times and she holds out the wind and water, keeping me warm and dry. During the hot sunny days, she is also not too hot to handle and all the openings keep you cool with a soft breeze running through this protective shell. I use it daily for my city commute and the reflective properties and incredibly valuable. I travel a lot and this is the only jacket I have needed walking the cold, wet and snowy streets of Europe. I do wish they had included two hand warmer pockets at ribs length to keep my hands warm while not riding. This is a great jacket for travel, lots of pockets, great removable armor, warm as toast and looks great!

Tour Master Transition Series 2 Jacket
Great jacket, especially for the price. Sturdy tough and warm. I feel invincible is this jacket. Lots of features, zippers, pockets and velcro. I really like the little zippered pocket on the left forearm. I wear a 44 and bought the 44/Large and it fits like a glove, perfect. Great armor, adjustable using the snaps on the outside of the jacket to cinch up elbow and shoulder armor perfectly. I also like the rear glove pocket. Not much wind protection around the neck. Use a neck gaiter. Great value.

Tour Master Transition Series 2 Jacket
As a 6' 200 pound man, I found the XL/46 was a perfect fit, with and without the liner. As for the liner, I found it difficult to fasten the sleeve snaps because they are so far up the sleeve. I just leave them unsnapped so I can take the liner out easily. As for the collar, it fits snugly, but when the wind hits it, it put pressure on your throat. This is eliminated with the installation of the windshield. The colors are great and I get all kinds of compliments on the jacket. Also, the reflective qualities are great, but I still wear a florescent yellow vest for additional safety. There are inner pockets, but difficult to get to when the jacket is totally secured for the ride. Concerning the zipper, you have to be very careful when you first thread the zipper because it will pull the threads all the way through and then you have a stuck zipper. Meaning it doesn't stop at a certain point like it should. Overall, a great jacket and it keeps me warm on cool days in Colorado.

Tourmaster transition 2 jacket
I've had this jacket for a month and couldn't be happier. I ordered the 2XL and it fits great. As a big guy, 6'5” and 270 lbs the jacket's sleeves are plenty long and the jacket doesn't restrict movement - even with the liner. Being a new rider, I took a minor tumble and the jacket did suffer a very minor abrasion to the shoulder and lower arm, but not too bad. The armor came in handy that day....
I highly recommend this jacket because the price is great for the features and the fit.

Worth the money
Before you ponder why I rated the Fit a 4 because the neck is slightly loose in fit. Not bad, just loose. And Durability got the same based on previous reviews and article reviews from print rags- but personally I have only owned it for a week.
This is a great item. I actually sold my leathers, because I like the jacket that much. With the liner in I did a 35 mile commute in 30 degree weather with only a long sleeve t-shirt on. I was quite impressed by the ability to kill the chill. I have not been caught out in the rain so far, but I figure that the worthiness of that ability will be spot on as well. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. This may be the best jacket I've paid for in my 26 yrs of riding.

All weather coat
The temps where I ride run from low 40's in the morn to mid 70's later same day and this coat transitions seamlessly if there is one complaint it's that it has too many options I'm still finding extras after three months use. Great buy.

good all around jacket
This jacket is great for all around use. I use it every day to commute to work. In the morning when it’s cold it does a good job of keeping you warm. In the afternoon you can open the vents and stay cool. It is too hot for very humid weather but has no problem either 80 to 85 degrees. The high vis color is also a plus. I got caught in the rain and this jacket did a great job of keeping me dry. Glad I got this one

First motorcycle jacket I've bought. Love it, great construction and fit. Mornings are already getting cool 40-50F and the jacket keeps me comfortable/warm on my 20 minute ride to work. I had to exchange original order for my mistake with sizing. The customer service person helping me was kind, courteous and professional, helped me more than I expected with return and re-ordering. I'll definitely return to shop due the great product, price and service.

I LOVE this jacket! I bought it a couple of months ago during the summer for use while commuting this winter, and I've only been able to wear it a few times, but I guarantee it will keep you warm and dry! Mornings are cool now, but I feel warm an cozy. The warm afternoon ride home isn't so bad either with all the vents in this jacket. I would definitely recommend this product, and buy again if I had it to do over.

Great jacket!. I weigh 190 and wear a 44r. With the liner in place it's a bit snug but the next size up would probably be too large. It is waterproof (tested). Its got so many storage areas I'm not sure I've found them all. Ventilation is very good. Be hard to find a better jacket for the price.

A SUIT OF ARMER, FEEL PROTECTED FOR SURE. COMFORTABLE WITH ALL VENTS OPEN ON WARM DAYS, BUT WHEN IT GETS HOT OR IN SLOW TRAFFIC IT GETS TOO WARM. ALL IN ALL IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND I THINK IT WILL BE GREAT WITH LINER IN WHEN THE WEATHER COOLS DOWN. LOTS OF POCKETS FOR STUFF AND YOU COULD PROBABLY USE THIS COAT FOR SCUBA DIVING, IT SEALS UP VERY TIGHT. WELL CRAFTED AND I WOULD BUY AGAIN.

Good deal
All in all I like the coat, but for me 5'6" and well, rather round in the middle, the coat is kind a long. Not that I want to return the jacket, but if I could do it over again, I think would buy the Pivot, simply because I think it's a little shorter. Oh, the shoulder puffs up a little too much, just a little. But all in all, I like it and I’ll keep it.

winter to summer
Sleeves are a little long for me, but that’s about the only problem. I've ridden in temps from 30 to the mid 90's comfortably. With the vents closed and the liner in, it keeps the wind and heavy amounts of water out and insulates very well. With the liner out and the vents open, the air flow (as long as you're in motion) is amazing. I couldn't have asked for a more versatile jacket.

Red Transition
With all the vents open it is comfortable around town up to about 75 degrees, tolerable to 80. I close the vents in the cool morning, and open them in the afternoon. I haven't worn it with the liner yet, but should be plenty warm for my 2 mile commute in the mild PNW winters. The sleeves are just a tad long, but tightening up the arm snaps, and wrist Velcro makes it a pretty good fit. My co-workers like it better than their more expensive jackets.

Great Cold Weather Jacket
I use this with the liner when the temp. is less than 60 degrees in the morning. (I have a mesh jacket with a liner when it is over 60 degrees.) It works well without liner and has plenty of vents for temp. Up to about 85 degrees. (Anything over 85 might be a little uncomfortable) It is very thick and heavy and feels like it would protect well in a crash. Many pockets inside and out. I rated it a five all the way because it deserves it.

Sweet Jacket!!
It fits a little tight in the shoulder, and is a little bit long on the sleeve. I think with the build, that it will easily stand up to the casual touring rider demands. I like the adjustment of the snaps along the sleeves, but I think that they could have done a better job by including a snap on the Velcro that stays at the end of the sleeves. The zipper does seem a little light. Overall, I am very pleased with it for the price I paid.

Very nice jacket for the money.
Very nice jacket for the money. Fit is excellent and true, even for a big guy like me. Quality is better than expected. Pockets and vents galore. Had it for a couple of months now and it is nice for summer riding. Haven't put the liner back in for cooler weather riding yet.

Not as great as the reviews suggest
This is a decent jacket for the money, but it does have some annoying problems. The zipper is very difficult to get started. It has large teeth, and it's very hard to get it lined up well enough to zip up. The liner is annoying when you're removing it, because the ends of the sleeves are too small, and it's hard to get your hand through them when taking the jacket off. On the positive side, it has lots of vents, and good armor. I’m 5'8", 150 lbs and I ordered an extra small. It fits me perfectly.

Arizona, here I come!
Recently, I bought a pair of Motorad (BMW Brand) convertible summer pants in light beige! I was looking for a light tan jacket to go with them, and settled on the Transition Series 2 Jacket from Tour Master in brown! I am very pleased with the fit and finish! When vents when open, I nearly get pulled off the bike at speed= plenty of airflow! I'm going to the South Rim in August so that will be the true test on the hot side. Won't be able to comment on the cooler stuff till next Winter, but it doesn't freeze where I live, so I feel the zip-in liner will be adequate. So far, I like the jacket a lot!

Awesome jacket!
I was concerned that the jacket would not fit because I am 6'4". They did not make tall sizes in the yellow, so I got the extra large and it fit great. Plenty of length in the sleeves. The jacket has a lot of venting and I have been wearing it everyday for the past 2 months (June & July). I have worn it in 100+ degree heat where if I was stopped for any length of time it got hot quick. But even at 92 it was comfortable when moving. Above that it's a little warm, but bearable. It has a zip out lining which I'm sure will be plenty warm when I need it. The jacket looks great and is an excellent value.

Great all weather jacket
I've been very pleased with this jacket. Spring morning rides to work have been in the low 30's but I have been warm still. So far I've used it in temps up to 95 degrees and with the vents I have been comfortable. I wear a size Large in most clothing but after trying on several different jacket brands at a local bike shop all the XL sizes fit right so that is what I ordered and it fits great. Also this jacket was much cheaper than buying locally

Great value/performer
Durability has been excellent but the zippers can be a bit stubborn at times. I ride dual sport so my jacket gets dusty and dirty. I've ridden in low 20's temps with a sweater underneath and been fine and in low 90's with the liner out and vents open. It vents well but is hot when stopped. I'd definitely buy another.

Excellent Jacket!
I reluctantly bought this jacket instead of leather and couldn't' be happier. Fit was perfect (I got an XL at 5'-10" 215# / athletic). Features are great - pockets galore. I have 1 zipper (of 20??) that doesn't zip well. The body armor isn't as cumbersome as I expected. The best thing about this jacket it you're comfortable wearing it at 40 degrees in the rain or 80 in the sun. With the liner and excellent venting you can't go wrong. Buy this jacket!!

So far I am extremely pleased with the jacket. I am 6 ft tall and around 200 lbs and the large fits well. It is a little snug but should loosen up with wear. It is nice and warm on cool days. Our spring has been unusually cool, so have not had a chance to try out the venting system. Even with shipping costs and import duty, this jacket is still a great deal. Similar ones are selling for much more at our local dealers. I recommend this jacket.

Good jacket
My Transition Series 2 jacket has proven to be a great buy. I've proved that its waterproof in a surprise summer storm two weeks ago...now if only I'd had pants to match the jacket! LOL It has a lot of reflective material...some of the black panels actually have material in it that creates a pinpoint effect. Lots of pockets, tons of vents, CE armor...what's not to like?

Great Jacket
This jacket has been everything I expected. It is an outstanding fall weather jacket as well as a warm summer. I did not say Hot summer for a reason. Without the liner and with all the vents open it is still a bit sweaty at the stop lights. But it holds to its name Tour and is great for the long hall.

Awesome Jacket
I initially had serious reservations about ordering a jacket online without having an opportunity to try it on. However, I took the leap and am totally delighted with all aspects of the jacket. The fit was perfect but I did go one size larger than indicated on the size chart for my chest size and glad I did. I recently had it on a highway trip in about 10 degree Celsius temperature. I had my leather chaps on. The only coolness I felt at highway speeds was on my legs. The jacket was toasty warm even without the liner.

great jacket for the price
Jacket fit is perfect, I'm 6 ft 185 lbs. ordered size large, and it fits perfectly, even roomy enough for a electric heated jacket underneath. Quality is well in line with other higher priced names. I also use a Harley jacket and this transition 2 is less in price and just as comfortable. Living here on the shore of lake Superior, believe me it keeps you warm riding in 50 degree weather in may. The jacket is also water proof and so far I've not found any leaks around the zippers nor water getting through the cuffs. All in all a great jacket for the price.

This jacket is very warm. Good for the early morning. It was not listed in tall sizes on your web-site. I could use a longer coat. I'm still comparing it to the Tour Master Cortech. Overall I think I will adjust to it. It is much better then leather. Thank you.

Tour Master Transition Series 2 Jacket
The jacket has a host of features that really make up for the undersize measurements they use to make it. I ordered a 4X so I would have some room inside of it to put an electric heated vest or jacket under it. What I got was really a 2X Jacket by any normal measure. However I did keep the jacket for the warmer seasons because of the armor and air vents in it. If you lift weights or have big arms you might want to look at something else.

Tour Master-Transitions Series Jacket
In sub-freezing weather the jacket did not let the cold through to my t-shirted body despite the fact that I had neither fairing nor windshield! I do have two complaints though. The lack of a collar forces the use of a bandanna to keep the adams apple warm.....and the velcro closure at the neck sometimes chafes the neck badly! Another minor thing was the number of loose threads to be cut off.

A year later
I've had this jacket for a year or so, from downpours to very chilly Canadian mornings. Love everything about it except the quality of the material; it is starting to fuzz out in the high wear areas. Other than that it has been outstanding, 100% waterproof, lots of great pockets and the venting is very good for hot weather. Really great value, I am sure I will get another 3 years out of it so you can't beat the price.

Tourmaster Transition Series Two Jacket
For a hard-to-fit guy like me this jacket is a blessing. It is a little snug but I prefer that to being too loose in a motorcycle jacket. I usually take at least an XL tall but this fits me just fine in a large/tall size that says its 44 thru the chest. My chest measures between 46 and 48 inches and while snug, it is comfortable. As far as warmth goes after an hour long ride in 35 degree weather I am happy to report that I didn't even get chilled. I cannot report on the water resistance yet but overall this is just what I was looking for in an all season’s jacket. After a month I still don't think I've found all the pockets! Great product for the buck.

Nice Jacket ... Can't wait for the weather to break.
I'll start by saying this jacket is the real deal! I have had two "high end" leather jackets in the past that were pretty decent with a price tag to reflect that decency. The Tour Master has features abound. The entire concept was well thought, imagine a "full arm" insulation jacket that's removable and has it's own set of functional pockets. The sizing is true to form. At 5'11", 227 LBS, 52" chest the 3x fits amazingly well. If I had to pick a lacking point of this fine jacket it would be the lack of coverage on the neck region.

This jacket is amazing, I use it for riding my ATV and one could easily use this for dirt bikes in addition to the street rider. Highly recommend this product.

Good value
This is a great jacket, it fit perfect out of the box. I've worn this jacket in 30 degree weather with a light shirt underneath and stayed plenty warm. It's a little heavy with the lining and armor but not noticeable while wearing it. I really like the pockets for my cell phone, wallet, etc. Lots of cool features make it versatile. I haven't had a chance to try it in warm weather yet but it looks to have plenty of vents, with the removable liner it should be fine. The only quality control complaint would be the zipper was a pain to get started on for a while, but it seems to be breaking in OK now.

Great Jacket
My normal size is XL. Ok, I ordered an XL and actually could not get it on. Exchange was easy and painless. Got the XXL. It fits quite well over a button down shirt without the liner. I have worn a shirt and a fleece jacket under it for a long ride in the low 40's. Jacket seals air well and has tons of great pockets. I especially like the little key pocket on the left sleeve. I always know where the bike key is. Sleeves are long enough to stay down at my wrists well engaged to short gloves. The 3/4 length is nice. I feel like this jacket is a terrific value.

A for real bargain !
I also have been riding for more than 40 years and have owned many jackets. This jacket overall has the equal or better functional quality of many jackets at nearly twice the price; an honest to goodness No Brainer! Only tiny negative to me is that the main front zipper system seems fussy to get aligned and started up correctly ... or could it just be me? Anyway a steal of a deal. Very, very highly recommended! Nice garment. I ordered XL and fits right on. Sleeves do seem tight with liner in, but they are plenty long & it is so warm I didn't need my fleece layer underneath anyway. Windproof 100%; very cozy with liner and T-shirt only, while riding 60+mph at 40 degrees with no fairing or windshield. This thing has more pockets than anything I've owned! Comfortable and fits to size, with plenty of room for mods and protection
Number 1, I like the little left wrist pocket for ID, then I can easily swipe it past the reader at my garage at work without the fumbling I normally had to do. Number 2, the snaps on the arms make certain that your elbow pads and shoulder pads are were they should be by snugging everything up nice and trim. I installed a plastic body armor spine protector in the back and then laid the factory foam over it. I also added to bionic roost protectors to the front pockets. Now the only downside was the zipper at first was tough to get started. But then I figured out that if I let out the two side velcro tightening straps and suck my gut in, it's no problem now. I bought the black one so in the winter I ride with a giant hunter orange coat with yellow reflective material all over it. Also, I travel about 35 miles to and from work and if it's below 40 degrees, I stick a notepad of paper on my chest to help keep out the cold. I just bought a leather vest so I'll see if that works instead of my cheapskate "bum" method.

Tour Master Transition Series 2 Jacket
I’ve certainly enjoyed the Tour Master Transition Series 2 Jacket. It has enough adjustments to make the fit nice and snug and streamlined. There are pockets for everything I need up to this point – going on tour will really put it to test in this regards as well as how the fabric holds up under stress and various weather conditions. There appears to be enough venting to handle warm weather but thus far I’ve only ridden in cooler weather (mid 40’s to upper 50’s) so I haven’t had an opportunity to put them to the test. I’m certainly satisfied with the yellow color for visibility but wish the jacket had more reflective strips for night riding. The collar is non-existent and what’s there doesn’t fit very snug even with the velcro closure but this could due to the fact I had to buy a size larger than I normally would (46 vs 42) due to my long arms.

Fantastic jacket!
I purchased this jacket after doing a lot of research and needing something I could wear in cold weather and be relatively waterproof. While I haven't had the jacket for very long it has lived up to the great reviews that lead me to purchasing the jacket in the first place. I'm 6'0 and 180lbs. I bought the large and it fits great. I have worn it with the liner and it was very warm in 30 degree temps. I have also worn it without liner with a Gerbing heated jacket liner underneath and it was almost too warm, but I can't complain. I've also worn it two days commuting 100 miles to work in constant rain and it has kept me dry. So far there is nothing negative I can say about the jacket. I would have given it a solid 5 star rating but haven't owned it long enough to determine durability.

My new jacket, a Tour Master - Transition Series 2
This jacket has a nice look, with style galore. I am happy with it. But IF I could instantly change it, what would I change? Weight! It is HEAVY! The way I immediately coped with the weight burden was to remove the armor. “Heavens no!” you say? YES, it is too heavy! Removing the armor also helped with my second 'change-I-would-like-to-make'. It is too stiff and movement-inhibiting. The armor was a major reason why you can't move freely. The third thing I would change is to rid it of the 'doo dad' snaps for size adjustments. You need to buy a garment that was the right size to start with, NOT one which you can cinch down with numerous snaps and clips. The sleeves in this jacket fit tight enough, yes, almost too tight, to ever need cinching any more. The fourth thing I would change is to make the zipper fastening point at the very bottom of the jacket. Starting the closure point part-way up the jacket makes the ergonomics go bankrupt!
So, what DO I like about the jacket? It is 3/4 length. I like that. It is a nice color. It has tons of pockets. It has good quality material. I will wear it in cold weather only. It is too heavy for other seasons.

Warm in Texas
I've only worn the jacket twice, once in 45 degree temp and the other time it was 50. Both times the jacket performed great! I was warm and it was very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quality jacket at an affordable price.

Great Winter jacket
While this is only my second riding jacket ever, it does exactly what I wanted - and the price was great. It's warm and keeps me dry when it's raining. I've ridden it as low as 34 degrees (with a sweater) and it's toasty. Only complaint is the same as with any mfr - pant zip is proprietary.

Great value
I'm still discovering new pockets in this jacket. I've worn it in 30 degree weather and it’s quite warm. No need for a heated vest yet. It does come slightly larger than you'd expect but that works if you like to layer your clothing.

Great Jacket
I love this jacket and I use the caliber pants too. This jacket is perfect. I have rode 1000 miles in 15-90 degrees and it vents well at hot temps and is very warm in cold. I used a fleece jacket when it got below 30 and was perfect. I wear size 44 jackets and ordered a XL, fits great. Love all the pockets and I get no wind rain or cold unless I choose to let it in. I would recommend to all as a great 3 season jacket or for temps below 90 anyway.

Excellent Jacket
I bought this jacket for winter riding in Ontario Canada. So far, I have been very impressed with the quality of the jacket overall. I was riding last week in temperatures of around minus 8 deg. celcius and was not cold at all. This has replaced my First Gear leather jacket which I have now sold. The jacket is very comfortable to wear and also looks good. Overall, very good value for the money. Thanks Superstore.

Tour Master - Transition Series 2 Jacket
I've been riding for almost 50 years and have had a lot of jackets. By far, this is the best I've had. The first that is actually long enough to fit me in the arms, back, and still fit snug in the chest. Very warm, with no air leaks, and lots of vents to open if you are too warm.

Just buy the Transition
I bought my Transition II after being stuck in Boise Idaho overnight because of a snow storm in October. I've never been colder in my life. It took me an hour in a hot tub to stop shivering. In 30 degree temperatures the Transition II was a Heaven sent. It's very comfortable and is a great fit. It makes me look good! The ability to seal off all air flow was incredible and kept me toasty warm. Then, later that day when the temp hit 70 degrees I just opened up the vents. I have never been more comfortable moving through such an array of temperatures. Big thumbs up! If you're wondering what to buy just buy the Transition and “don't worry about it”. You've found the best for 1/2 the price.

Transition 2
I bought this jacket late in the summer but was still able to experience 100+ degree rides with it. Ventilation is more than adequate, once above 30MPH. Now that winter is setting in, I have ridden quite a bit in the low 30's and with the quilted liner in place, I'm quite pleased with how well all those vents and zippers keep the cold out. With only two rainy day rides in the jacket, I have found no leaks at all. I have remained perfectly warm and dry. The construction is rock solid. All seams and gussets are done with excellent precision. The armor is solid and does not shift or move around at all. I had looked at other brands that were much more expensive that were not as well made or designed that cost a lot more. For my money, this one would be tough to beat.

Loose Threads
I was really looking forward to getting a 3/4 jacket, unfortunately mine arrived with a missing loop and stitching that was left unchecked. This is very unlike Tourmaster but I got one that made it thru QC. Returned this for the Flex 2 and couldn't be happier.

Excellent Jacket....
I've had this jacket for a little over a month and have been completely satisfied with it. It's warm, fits well and is worth its price of admission.

absolute winner for my second choice
I had my sights set on more than one jacket that was way over the price range of this very affordable jacket. After some mental anguish and review reading I figured I’d give this jacket a try figuring I could get the higher priced jacket later if this one didn't pan out. Well lets just say I don't think I’ll need to toss any money into the wind. This thing is toasty warm, looks sharp (I have the black one), has more options than I could ever hope for, and has quality built into it at every turn. I have wide shoulders and short arms so the sleeve length is about 1 inch to long but the rest of the fit is snug and dexterous. I’m so glad I gave this a try as I’m sure it will be with me for some time. As for Motorcycle Superstore they got my order handled as fast as one could hope for (I think I had it in 3 days FedEx ground).

Love it.
This is a great jacket, and the price is reasonable. If I was somehow parted from my red Transition, I would simply order another one immediately. This is a 3 season jacket: fall, winter, spring. When the temp gets up around 80 and 90 I use a fully perforated jacket (the Flex). I've used the Transition daily in temps ranging from low 70s to low 30s, including in the pouring rain. I mean pouring. Not a single leak. I have a rain over-jacket in my tail-pack and never use it. In the lowest temps, I layer a bit underneath and feel warm and toasty. (Almost too warm; this jacket with layering would work for colder temps.) The pockets and zippers all work; the reflective stuff on the back puts on a real light show at night. People have told me the jacket looks real good. If I could add a detail, I would add another button-back strap to the collar, so you could button down both sides of the collar in the open position. (As is, you can button back one side of the collar in the open-at-the-neck position, a great feature that I frequently use.) This jacket has so many features that I kept on discovering new ones weeks after I got it. It has a fanny pack. Who knew? I ride daily, year round in Nashville, and I'm always looking at motorcycle gear. I've looked at more jackets than I can count. You could get a jacket as good as this (not better), and pay twice as much, if you really want to.

great jacket
I used it so far in 55-28 degree weather and have no complaints. After 30 years with a Belstaff Trailmaster I finally feel protected. Good fit, very warm. The side pockets could be larger, but after trying on several other brands in the 300$ range I am very satisfied.

Superb jacket
I purchased this jacket for winter riding and I can't say enough about it. The fit is great; not too tight so I can wear my dress shirt and sweater beneath it and be comfortable. And the jacket is warm. Its ventilation is great. I knew it would be a warm jacket, but I was worried it might be like some jacket liners that don't breathe. Great jacket, finish, and fit.

Tour Master Transition Jacket
A superbly adaptable jacket that can be worn comfortably from temperatures in the low 30s to the low 80s and endured to the mid-20s and low 90s, even in high humidity conditions. Tour Master put both thought and quality into this jacket and they show in the type and execution of the details: the pockets are useful, secure, and numerous; the ventilation is adequate for all but the hottest riding days in city commuting while being impervious to rain; the armor is stout and well-placed; and the reflective trim is quite visible to motorists under a variety of light conditions. I have four jackets, but if I could only keep one, it would be my Transition jacket. My rating is based on the Series 1 version but, other than color choices, the same comments apply.

Tourmaster Transition Jacket
I purchased the Tourmaster Transition Jacket about a month ago. It fits great and is not too heavy. I have not worn it with the liner but at mild temps, 45-50 degrees, it is very warm. The “air scoop” vents work well and provide good ventilation on warmer days. As far as quality goes, it's Tourmaster, Top Quality, enough said. Mototcycle Superstore was quick to deliver, with no problems. I would not hesitate to purchase again from them.

All Around Jacket
I recently purchased the Transition 2 jacket and am greatly impressed. Here in SD it gets quite cold and this jacket is just the ticket. The adjustments make the fit exceptional, like it was tailor made for me. The only flaw I've found so far was an internal pocket-pull came off but I wouldn't be accessing it in my climate anyway.

Transition 2
So far I'm really happy with this jacket. It fits nice and snug and has tons of pocket room. The padding throughout the jacket feels nice and isn't uncomfortable. I never leave without out it. I think if it wasn't as comfortable as it is...I'd tend to leave it at home unless I was going for a LONG ride but I take it every time.

Tourmaster Transition 2 textile jacket
I have only worn this jacket twice as I bought it for cold weather and it hasn't really been that cold yet. The times I did wear it it was in the upper 40's on my morning commute and all I can say is that it is comfortable and very warm. I really like the many Velcro straps that allow you to tighten the jacket up to avoid flapping in the wind at higher interstate speeds. There are plenty of pockets in usable positions that make it very handy. I give it a big thumbs up! I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have had many mc jackets in my life. Latest was a Firstgear Kkilamanjaro. This is the best one yet. unbelievable price. Do not think because the Tourmaster stuff is affordable that it isn’t well made. 10x better that that expensive dianesse euro crap...50% of what you’re buying is lousy exchange rate.
