It looks thin in the pics but I found this helmet made me look like the rain man or Forrest Gump, fathead big time. I would love to find a helmet that said just barely DOT approved. I mean come on, these are 1/2 helmets!!! If you wanted protection you would wear a full face with chin guard.

It appears huge on your head and is fairly lightweight. I should have gone with a visor. This is my first helmet, now I am searching for another with a visor. I would not recommend this helmet. No vents.

Helmet looked pretty cool, but it was way too big. Made me look like I had a big martian mushroom helmet on. Sent it back.

I was looking for a high gloss black helmet that would provide me with good protection and a comfortable fit. This product fulfilled my needs. It is a little larger than I expected but I'm certain the protection is there. It had a goofy logo in the front but I got that off. I wish it had a quick release strap instead of the "D" rings. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

Well made, comfortable helmet. Not too heavy on the neck with negligible buffeting at speed. Not too crazy about the logo on the front. Looks like some half-assed Japanese 'anime' design. Installed an after-market fastener to make putting the helmet on and off easier. Over all I am pleased with this helmet.

This helmet fit me much better than the cheaper Skid Lid I had before. Everything is well constructed, and the helmet is very comfortable. One thing that I noticed is how much less wind resistance I felt with this helmet over the Skid Lid. Better aerodynamics I suppose. The strap felt very secure and was plenty comfortable. The only negative I can find, is how the helmet shell appears so big. The "astronaut" effect I guess you could say. Just something I wasn't used to with this being my

If you're looking for a half-shell, look no further. I've tried just about every DOT half-shell on the market (except those goofy Kevlar/carbon-fiber ones) and this is by far hands down the best of the bunch. It's comfortable, solidly constructed and what a fit. Also, a dealbreaker for me was no buttons in the front for a visor. Not many out there are buttonless. This one is. You won't go wrong with this puppy.
