Bell Drifter Helmet

This helmet goes really good with the Ural I bought and will also go good with my HD Softail Standard. The fit is good and quality appears to be first rate. I love the canvas covering but would have preferred the Combat Green Canvas, it would match my Army Green Ural.

Nice helmet..but

Great looking helmet, comfortable fit, leather finish is perfect. But the chin strap angle is off and the helmet looks a bit bulky on the head. Not that bad..but if I could make any change it would be to get it to ride a little lower on the head. Other than that..its a great helmet for the money.

Great Shorty

I was surprised by some of the comments and almost did not buy it, like any helmet, it feels too small at first, almost wanted to return it, glad I did not, as it fits as a glove after 3 rides, trick is use the selecting tool and when you receive it will feel small at first, but it does not move a bit in the wind and tried it well above the speed limit...

love

I love mine, but like ALL helmets the straps do feel uncomfortable, but the helmet itself is great.

Bummed

Needed to wear a helmet because of a job thing. I loved this helmet after a season of riding in all the elements, the leather is so thin it wore right through.

Bad Strap

The helmet looks great and fits great with the exception of the chin strap. It's at a horrible angle and the material cuts into your neck. I was considering having the straps re-attached at the correct angle so it doesn't cut into my neck.

Bell Drifter

Great helmet. Fits like a glove and feels nice and sturdy. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was that its a lot wider than it looks in the pictures. It's about 2 inches thick. Not a problem but I was hoping for a more bucket helmet design.

Bad Fit and Construction

This is a really cool-looking helmet, until you wear it. I bought an XXL because I wear basically an XL. The helmet rides WAY high on your head, and it makes you feel top-heavy like a bobble head. It is uncomfortable because of this and it looks funny. It would be ok if you had a low brow and a pointy head. I would not recommend and its a shame because I've always had a Bell in my closet. I ride a military motorcycle and liked the design, but am disappointed.

Not again

The drifter was advertised as low profile. This is probably the worst helmet I have now. Really wish I had not bought this overpriced lid. Live and learn.
