Ron Grand Island,  NE 8600 glove I bought these for cold weather riding & have used them down to 20 deg. F, hands cold after 10/12 miles. They are fine in the mid 40 degree & up range. A little on the small side initially but have become more flexible & held up well, I like the gauntlet style as it keeps all the wind off your wrists. Good value but not warm enough for colder riding conditions.

MikeO Cincinnati,  OH Mid-temp gloves that need padding I purchased these gloves looking for something I could wear comfortably below 40 degrees. For my daily 1mi commute, they are fine, but for the once-a-week 10mi commute or occasional fun ride, my hands get real cold after about 7-8mi of city riding. The gloves also tend to get pushed forward by my jacket so I have to routinely pull them back. My biggest complaint is the lack of palm padding. I have not used the rain mittens yet. If they had padded palms, these would be great gloves for the 40-50 degree range.
