Les Kilby Nampa,  ID Olympia - 4296 Gore-Tex Cold Weather Gloves These gloves are perfect for me. They are most importantly warm, even when temps are in the 20s. They fit well and are durable. They seem to have been designed to give you the best cold weather glove at the lowest price.

Juan Jefferson City,  TN an OK glove for late fall weather I had the chance to use this glove that I recently purchased and I can tell you that even though I went a 1/2 larger than mi hand size, the fit is kind of right there before getting tight. So, for anyone else I recommend to consider extra room from what the size chart says. On the other side, the riding in a 40º raining weather on a 70/80 mph was OK, the plus is my hands were dry for over an hour ride, but... the cold started to penetrate a little, not too much to cause discomfort, but enough to noticed. other than that, very nice glove!!!

RICHARD LAMPASAS,  TX almost get the job done I ride about 25 miles to work, about 18 miles of it at 70 mph. In mid 40 degree weather some of my fingers just start to chill down, so do the math on a longer ride. They somewhat cumbersom on the controls and the right fingers are kinda hard to wrap around the throttle. For me a little disappointing, but I am working on a process to liber up the fingers.

Ryan D. Tatum Woodbridge,  VA Olympia - 4296 Gore-Tex Cold Weather Gloves Black So far, so good. They kept my hands and finger tips extremely warm in the 40 degree weather. Still waiting to see if they do the same in much colder weather. They are bulky (in the fingers) but I guess that's necessary to keep your fingers warm. They are also waterproof and that goes a long way for comfort.

samuel alonge tamaqua,  PA 4296 Gortex Cold Weather Gloves These are the BEST Winter Gloves I've found, anything thicker and it would be uncomfortable to hold the grips. They will definitely keep you warm. The next best thing would be heated gloves.

kwood Woodland Park,  CO best winter gloves I have yet Commuting 22.5 mi each way from 8700' to 6000' elevation and back. Ridden in morning temps that bottom in upper teens. By arrival, finger tips a bit cold, but not hurting. 30F that isn't an issue. if I were to try anything else, it would be heated gloves. Working extremely well for what I purchased them for! Have yet to ride w/them in wet.

matthew chapel hill,  NC once broken in you will not beat them Sure we all love to ride, but in the 20's and 30's its pushing the limits on “enjoyable” I typically ride 50 miles a day to and from work and since having these gloves its is amazing how much difference that one article of clothing can make. I can honestly say that at 25 degrees, 25 miles, and around 65-70mph travel speed my hands where toasty, and I do NOT have a shield or anything covering my bars. With these gloves, insulated overalls, and jacket I plan on riding until the ice starts falling. The gloves are sort of bulky, but they actually got broke in in about a week, and now there is not problem putting them on.

Luke Santa Maria,  CA Warm and good build quality The gloves are very warm and built extremely well. They have a soft area on the thumb for wiping the visor without scratching it all up, nice icing on the cake. Gauntlets that cover the wrists are plenty long and large. My only gripe is they feel a little clumbsy, not a big problem for highway riding but not very good for around town that requires lots of blinkers and shifting.

Stephen Tyler,  TX Decent Gloves I bought these gloves about a month ago. They work fairly well but on my 10 minute ride to work every morning, if the temperature is in the 30's, the tips of the fingers start to get cold. For as much bulk as these gloves have you wouldn't expect to be cold at all on a 10 minute ride. These gloves are very bulky. I don't have a problem with the controls. But my biggest beef is that the elastic drawstring around the forearm broke after just a month of use. Luckily the gloves have two velcro fasteners (one on the wrist and one on forearm) or else I would be sending these gloves back! I plan on getting an underglove to use on the seriously cold mornings but anything above 40-45 degrees they work ok.

Sean Pent Denver,  CO Olympia-4296 Gore-Tex Cold Weather Gloves Well these gloves really don't keep your hands that warm on the motorcycle and I feel that they are too bulky when riding. I'm sure they'll make decent gloves for shoveling snow.

warm hands Port Orchard,  WA Great so far! I have been wearing these gloves as I ride to work for 20 minutes every morning in about 35-45 degrees. Hands haven't been cold at all. They are a little thick, but I have had no problem operating controls. The thickness is necessary to get the warmth.

John Carter Catonsville,  MD One Use Gloves The first time I used these gloves the inside lining came completely out. While this only happened with one glove I was unable to re-insert the lining because whatever is between the lining and the outer glove also bunched up inside. Needless to say I will not be purchasing Olympia products again. In this situation this product was poorly constructed having come apart on the first use.

DAVID Fairview,  TX Gore-Tex Gloves I tried out these gloves in freezing weather and they held out longer than I did. They are comfortable, and they protect from the fingertips to the wrist. Of course there is a little "feel" lost with the bulk, but it is manageable, and probably necessary to keep you warm. P.S. it started freezing drizzle, so we quit the ride - but my hands were warm and dry.

michael roper mckinney,  TX 4296 cold weather gloves Of the gazillion gloves there were to choose from, I chose these, not for their looks, but for the long sleeve which overlaps a coat sleeve. On a motorcycle in cold weather it's vital air doesn't enter the coat sleeve. Lest you have a long, unhappy ride. The fingers lose feel, but that's the price of insulation. Hands stay warm amid heavy cold winds.

Patric Guthrie Houstonq,  TX Nice gloves These gloves are great. They fit very well. I had to return and get one size smaller than usual. With the bulk of winter gloves, I find that a real snug fit is important in comfort and ability to operate the controls. They are very warm and do a great job of keeping out the cold. As you can see, I live in Texas, so cold is relative. But, my hands have been toasty down to 40 degrees so far.

Mike Maple Valley,  NV 4296 Gore-Tex Cold Weather Glove Very warm but a little too bulky on the palm side of the glove making it difficult to use the controls. Would be a better glove if the insulation on the palm side was thinner (maybe thinsulate) because warmth isn't quite as important on the inside part of the glove. Grip could stand to be a little more tacky.

Chuck Garrettson Pottstown,  CA 4296 Gore-Tex Cold Weather Glove These are excellent gloves. I have used them twice and my hands have been perfectly warm both times - a first. They are extremely comfortable, and very well designed - particularly the pull tabs, which make getting them on and off very easy - even while wearing them. The only criticism is that the grip is not very sticky - my hands can slide on the handlebar grips more easily than I would like. Otherwise, I am really impressed with these gloves and recommend them highly.

Chris Portland,  AL They are ok... I bought these gloves looking for a year round winter glove. Then they arrived I noticed they had little to no protection. Perhaps they would survive some chaffing, but there is no armor at all. They don't have a real good fit to your fingers. I returned them right away. However, if you are into snow shovelling, they are the gloves for you. Very warm.
