Tad Utica,  MI Olympia - 180 Monsoon Gloves These gloves are excellent on chilly morning rides. I have not had a chance to test them in the rain yet. I ordered mine a half size too big, therefore the 1 notch down on "fit", otherwise they are extremely comfortable.

Jim Bullhead City,  AZ Good & bad I bought these gloves for a cross-country trip. I ran into some rain and used the gloves along with my rain suit. The first time I put them on, they went on very easily and did a good job of keeping my hands dry, however they did not breathe and my hands got sweaty. The next time I tried to put them on, and each time thereafter, the lining was twisted in several of the fingers making it very difficult to get them on. I was very careful taking them off to not get them tangled but it was very difficult. Once you get past the lining and get them on, they will keep your hands dry from rain, but still cause them to sweat.

Greg Spires Charleston,  SC Good gloves I got Olympia Monsoon gloves in 2001, loved them and had the lining detach in 2007. I removed the lining and still use them. They are very comfortable and I have always thought myself lucky to have found them on the rack where I bought my Gold Wing. I am now purchasing my second pair and expect them to ride with me for many years.

darrel johnson bloomington,  MN olympia 180 monsoon gloves Not worth a hill of beans. Leak terribly. Leather soaks up water like a sponge. I should have returned them, but didn't have time before my trip. But I feel cheated.

Kenneth Alison Killion Emeryville,  AZ The OJ effect The first time I put these gloves on I was very pleased. They were very comfortable, warm enough, and not bulky, looked good, and reasonably watertight. The problem I had and the reason I'm giving these gloves a 2 is the problem I have when I take the gloves off and put them back on during a bike ride. (a pit stop). I call it the OJ effect.
