Great Deal!
I am a woman but can wear a men's size 6 and these boots fit true to size. A little stiff at first, but very comfortable after breaking them in. Comfortable enough to walk around in when not riding. I've only worn them in a light sprinkle, not a large down poor, but so far they have kept the water out. And of course, they look good too. All in all, I'm very satisfied! These boots are a great deal!

Great Boots
These boots look great and feel great. They were quite stiff initially, but broke in quickly and after a few hours of riding felt very comfortable. Surprisingly, they are not overly hot which is nice here in the Florida heat. I would not recommend them for hours of walking due to the heel of the boot being narrow and the sole is rigid, but that is what makes them a good riding boot. As far as durability, I have only had them a short time, but after several hours of riding time, the soles are showing no wear. I have drug my left toe a few times during cornering and no wear was noticeable. Overall, great boot at a great price.

Great boot ...for the price
I bought these for my wife. They fit well, handle wet weather without any leakage, and (according to my wife) are "quite comfortable ...for awhile." They don't breathe very well, so her feet get hot on most longer rides, and especially in summer heat. I wear higher-priced Alpine Star boots and mine are a good combination of weather-proofness and breathability. So, it's a case of you get what you pay for. For my wife's next birthday, breathable boots are on my list!

Comfortable Boots
After ruining a pair of supposed water-proof boots I picked these boots up. Totally waterproof and very comfortable after a bit of break-in. I've got over 4k on these boots and they feel like a favorite pair of shoes that are holding up very well.

BUY THESE BOOTS!!!!!! They are the most comfortable footwear I’ve ever owned, I can't believe they're riding boots! I ride every day to work etc., regardless of weather. In our Texas heat my feet stay cool & dry after all day riding, on long trips thru freezing and/or pouring rain my feet stay warm & dry! They offer excellent support & adjustability throughout the whole boot and are very comfortable to walk around in all day even on concrete surfaces without being cumbersome. Sizes are accurate to your size (thick or thin socks) and the multiple Velcro enclosures ensure your fit preference. AGAIN, BUY THESE BOOTS!!!

The fit is great. The finish is ok but, for the price I can live with that. The durability I cannot comment on because this is my first pair of this brand. Features I liked were the velcro closures. All over the price was very cost effective. I would recommend these boots for anyone looking for a nice comfortable pair of boots at a great price.

good boots
These boots will keep your feet dry, and warm. I would not wear these boots for walking, they are pretty stiff. I have a sport bike; this riding position requires more flexibility in the ankles. These boots don't have that.

Low-key, high-performance boots
I like that these are very low key, yet very sophisticated bike boots. The fit is PERFECT (how many other boots have half-sizes?). Only 600 miles on mine, so I can't speak to durability, but they act like they'll last. Stiff and protective, but I still spent an afternoon walking around a street festival with no discomfort. Easy on and off, but plenty of velcro to make the fit as tight as you might like, or loosen them up when walking or in the heat.

Great Boots
This is my 3rd pair of these excellent waterproof boots. Sizing is a little off; I always order a size too large for proper fit. The soles wear out early as far as I am concerned, but for the price they are great.

Alpinestars Ridge boots
These are pretty nice boots! They're waterproof, but a little wet can creep in from the top unless your pant legs are super long- these aren’t the tall kind of boots. If the bottoms of your legs are especially large you may have trouble getting the flaps to fully velcro shut. These boots seem to be true to size- I'm a 13 and mine fit fine. I was a little off put by how stiff they were when I first put them on, but they're softening up just fine, still, I doubt they'll ever be my first choice of footwear if I’m not riding, but they're not bad. Seemed like there was a lot of room in the heel area so I stuck in some cushions. I'm rambling...This wasn't my first purchase from Superstore and won't be my last.

Never bought something like this on internet! Very hesitant!! To my surprise everything went very well! Very happy with the boots!! I am a 10.5 and they fit perfect! Very light, easy to get on and off! Not sure about water yet, I haven't been in constant rain. Great boots for the $.

Decent Boots
I got these a few weeks ago and am pretty pleased with them. Construction is top notch and they feel very sturdy. They are comfortable on the bike as well as for walking around. The toe area is a bit boxy but that makes for a roomy boot if you have wide feet. The closure system is a little different, there's a half length zip on the inside with a Velcro cover and a velcro tab on the outside that lets you snug up the fit on the foot. The upper leather half is actually split on the inside and outside with Velcro attachments on both sides so you can open the boots up quite a bit for getting them on and off. The water proof liner, which isn't split, kind of folds up when you close the upper half - clever but a bit odd until you get used to it.

Well Made, but Stiff
These boots seem to be well made, however they are a bit on the stiff side. Also the toe is a bit thick for bikes with a small shifter. I returned mine with no hassles.

Good Everyday Boot
This is a comfortable and good-fitting boot. After a brief breaking in it is comfortable enough to walk around in for hours if needed. Acceptably good-looking, waterproof and easy to get in and out of. I commute everyday on my bike and the boot seems to be holding up pretty good so far. Good support without being too stiff. The soles are good at stops also. Recommended apparel.

Half Sizes
My last pair of boots came only in full sizes, so the 7.5 worked out well with these Alpinestars. I noticed there was no reinforcement on the shifter toe. As is par for the course, there is an uncomfortable break-in period, but it's getting there. The zipper does not seem very long, the rest being velcro flaps on either side of the boot. Sometimes I wonder why they bothered, but even a short zipper beats none. I think they're a nice looking pair of boots, but will need more time to see how comfortable they become as they age. So far, things are looking up.

Excellent-Alpinestars - Ridge Waterproof Boots
I love these boots! They fit very well, are adjustable, waterproof, comfortable and look great too. They are a bit stiff when new so you can leave the top less snug until you break them in. Then you can adjust them tighter as the tops get softer. I have no trouble with a toe-shifter. I have floor boards on my bike and the boots are real comfy on that. I never rode with foot pegs so I don't know about that. The only thing is you might not want to wear these boots all day long because they are waterproof keep some dry socks on hand because the sweat from your feet will build up. Oh yeah, my feet are always toasty in these boots even on cold days.

Ridge Waterproof Boots
I bought these boots for commuting. They fit true to size - I have 12.5 feet and always have to buy 13's - they advertised a 12.5 and it fit just right. 500 miles and two rainstorms later they are what I was looking for. Took about a week to break in - not bad. Still a little stiff due to the way the outer closure works but I want the protection and am willing to live with the stiffness. I don't use the zipper side, just loosen the leather strap and un-velcro the outer flap and that easily allows me to slide my foot in and out. Well built with good features for the money.

Alpinestars Ridge Waterproof boots
For the low cost, these boots will be worth every penny. They don't feel like you are wearing clogs. I've washed mine off in the shower using a hand-held showerhead, so I know they don't leak. There is absolutely no way water can get in except from the top. So if you wear overpants that are waterproof as well with them over the boots, no water will get in. I also own the generation of Ridge boot from a few years back. This model is an improvement. If you're looking for a sturdy, waterproof boot that won't break the bank, look no further.

Great boots -- Great Price
These boots came recommended to me by a biker friend. I had a lot of trouble finding a good pair of boots to use with my FZ1. I liked these because they weren't too tall. The taller boots are uncomfortable on the shins. These boots are fine for California winters, I haven't gotten them wet yet. It doesn't rain much here. They seem pretty warm in cool weather and hot in warm weather. The started off a bit stiff but loosened up a bit after a little use. A good buy.

Excellent boots
I've had them for several weeks, and they have been great! Took several days to break in, of course. Sizing seems to be right on...I was concerned about them being too small, so I ordered 1/2 size larger but shouldn't have. Not great for all-day wear, but I keep a pair of tennis shoes at work, and just change into them. They are wearing pretty good, but the left one is scuffed on the inside where is rubs against the bike when I shift. Easy on/off, especially with the adjustable strap. I am no longer concerned about soaking my shoes in a rain storm, but haven't had any major rain since I got them.

worth it
This boot is a great riding boot, comfortable and well made your feet. Will stay dry in wet weather if you have waterproof pants on otherwise the rain will eventually run down your leg into your boot. The only downside to the boot is it doesn’t breathe and your feet do get a bit hot in hot weather. Other than that will definitely buy another pair.

Exactly what I hoped for
I'd been looking for quite some time. My criteria was that the boots should be a) waterproof b) windproof c) subtle in style d) easy to put on and remove e) ok to wear in the office, at a push, and f) inexpensive. I doubted I'd find boots to fit the bill but these ones do. They're warm, dry, and comfortable. They're not too flashy and though they're very easy to get on and off, they are very secure when on. I'm very happy with them. I can't recommend them high enough.

Very Nice
I have ridden with them 3 times this year and I have no complaints. I rode the bike 280 miles in one day and had the boots on the entire time. As well as being at work for 6 hours with them on. They were very comfortable on and off the bike. Though they did get a little warm walking around the office, you will have that with any waterproof leather boot. When I got home in the evening and took them off my feet were not sore at all. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great boots for the money
Right out of the box, they are stiff. They fit well for the size. You will need to walk around the house for awhile but on the bike they are fine. The run a tad big, so there is size for thick socks, which help on comfort. It is somewhat hard to get them closed really tight, but that is ok. The sole grips GREAT on pavement. It looks slippery, but sticks well. The Toe section is thicker then the boots I used before, so I had to raise my Gear shift lever, otherwise you have to dip our foot down to

Great Boots
Pretty much perfect. Not quite as comfortable as tennis shoes for walking around in every day, but very comfortable for riding, and very easy to get on and off. A lot of support and protection. I am very pleased with this product.

Not bad!
Boots arrived VERY quickly since my size was in stock. Thanks! It took me few riding days to break in. After that, it's comfortable to ride, walk (short distance!), and not too flashy under my jeans. Since I don't have a skinny legs, the Velcro tapes can't be fastened snuggly(-1 star here). I'm happy with the boots. Looks like they will be very warm for Southern California summer weather.

Alpinestars Ridge Boot
I've had my Ridge boots for four months now and like them as a motorcycle boot. They offer good protection of my feet and ankles. I've not been caught in monsoon type rain with them but have ridden through showers and not had my feet get wet. They're comfortable in NC summers and so far keep my feet warm now that it's getting colder. My only complaint regards the looks. I give these boots 3 stars because they are more like ski boots than anything else. They are definitely NOT made for walking, as the soles are really stiff. But if you are ever involved in an accident these are the boots you want to be wearing. If you take a long trip with these you will probably have to bring along some gym shoes for walking around in.

Very Good Boot
I think these boots are great. They are very comfortable especially once broken in. They breathe well while providing excellent wetness protection. If you don't have skinny legs you will have trouble fastening them snug on both sides.

Boots are good ; )
The boots arrived quickly, in good shape as would be expected. I really like the feel of the European make because of my half size foot. (10.5) They seem well made with good protection. Hopefully I wont have to test it. But I think you would be happy with these as well if would like to save some money, but get a good boot. Thanks bunch.
