Joe Rocket Big Bang Boots
I bought the boots for my husband as an anniversary present and he absolutely loves them! They are comfortable, they look nice, I was worried about ordering his true size but I did and it worked out great. They take a little getting used to because they are a little heavy, but that's a good thing because you need the protection when you are riding. The shifting hasn't done any damage to the boot which tells me the wear on it will be absolutely worth the money. The price was perfect. Everything I've bought at the Motorcycle Superstore I've been extremely happy with and recommend them to all my friends looking for MC items. Thank you.

Great Boots
The fit is perfect. A very comfortable boot. A little stiff at first but after only a few wears they feel great. No problem shifting and braking on a ZX-10R.

Nice boots
The boots were ordered 1 size larger and fit perfect with inserts. The boots are stiff but should break in shortly. For the price the boots are outstanding. They are well constructed look cool. Great product.

Joe Rocket Big Bang Boots
Aside from the weird name, these boots are pretty good. You can wear them as regular boots without them looking too strange, but they are a tad stiff. The other drawback is that they are not 100% waterproof. I rode in the rain all day today and while my feet never got cold, they were soaked when I took the boots off. I guess that's a testament as to how well insulated they are.

Excellent boot - not for summer though
I wear a 10.5 normally, and read these were sized large so I ordered a 10, way too small. Thanks to MCSS for their return policy I now have a size 11 which are just right (loose enough for thermal socks) They are very stiff when new, but have broken in with wear, they squeek. They're not for summer riding, don't even think about it, they don't breathe at all (probably for water resistance) I'm looking forward to cooler riding with some thick socks, these should be perfect.

Great boots, great price!
Boots are very comfortable and offer great protection. I normally wear a size 10 and I have an average size foot, perhaps a little wide and a size 9 was perfect. I have not experienced any soreness at all wearing the boots as I'm breaking them in. Riding in them is comfortable and getting used to shifting with these over sneakers was easy (and a very good idea!) Durability seems ok, these boots should last a while. I would say the only criticism is there is nothing special protecting your ankles, but the boot is solid. A little bulky, yes, but still looks good with jeans. Great boot for the price!

Great Boots
The boots are a great bang for your buck. They are comfortable, especially with a new set of insoles. Even though they are a bit heavy in weight, they are great on the road. One caution though, beware if you have a cruiser where the exhaust pipes are near the pegs. The boots material easily transfers a plastic coating onto the pipes and/or chrome cover, but can be removed with a soft sponge and a few mins of scrubbing. Overall, very satisfied and will buy again. Thanks for reading.

Really great boots!
I really like the way these boots fit and look. The only down side is that they are made for riding, and not as much for walking. As they break in, they are more comfortable, but when I go to work I find that stairs feel funny under my feet. Not bad enough to stop me from wearing them, but they took a little adapting to. The side buckles are like ski boot buckles and help the fit. You can loosen them after you ride for a more comfortable walking fit.

Joe Rocket makes a cost affordable sports boot.
I would say that the Big Bang Boots from Joe Rocket isn't actually a complete sports boot, but offers great protection at a great price. Personally I would have loved for the boot to have a smaller bottom footprint as this boot is almost an everyday work-boot size. The Boot is very wide and often in hard cornering I have to tip-toe on the peg to clear the road. Almost wishing that I had bought the Pro Street Boot instead, I am very happy with this unit. The finish is great and quality made like a Joe Rocket should be, but the sizing is a tad bigger than listed. Example, I wear a 12 in tennis shoes but I ordered an 11 in the Big Bang Boot and it was still over-sized, so I returned it to get a 10 and it fits fine now but still, runs a tad big. The fitment issue would have been better if they made 1/2 sizes, but completely understand that doubles production cost. On a 1-10 scale for this product, I give it solid 7. Would've been higher if the top of the boots wasn’t so thick when walking around in the boot, it kinda smashes the top bridge of your foot (BTW the boot is very thick in all places), but with casually wearing them to help the in break-in period, all is well.

I wanted a boot that was great for riding, looked cool, and a bang for the buck. This boot delivered all that I asked. The boot is stiff at first. After some walking around and riding it broke in well and now feels great. Just like buying any shoe the sizes vary from on manufacturer to another. They do run large and wide. I naturally have a wide foot so it fit great. If you know what your shoe size is in European numbering I would recommend going off of that number for it is a more accurate measuring system. I love the look for it does not look like a typical riding shoe yet provides great protection and looks more like a pair of Timberlands or HI TECH militia boots. The price I say is about right where it should be for a great boot for the buck. I only wish that the strap portion of the buckle was made of a different material i.e. leather then plastic.

Like the boots! They seem very rugged and well made. They are wide which is a huge benefit to me. I am sure once they break in they will be more comfortable, and I can ride a full day without changing out.

Big Bang Boots
I ordered these boots because most reviewers said they were wide. They were correct. They fit perfect. Give my extra wide feet plenty of room. Wore them around the house for a few hours before riding with them. Love the feel on the shifter and brake pedal. A good firm grip with no sliding.

Comfortable solid boot
I like the fit and finish of this boot. I walked around in all day without hot spots or tender places. Feels solid on my feet and locked in place with the buckle. Good value.

Big Bang Boot
Great riding boot. A little stiff at first but seem to break in after about a week. Size seems to be true but is a wide boot, which I need. I was hoping it had more leather (mostly molded construction) but has lots of protection. With all the boots on the market, I took a chance and ordered this one and am very happy with it.

Not at all what I expected
Other reviewer was spot on -- these feel like Herman Munster boots. They are extremely wide and my feet float around in them. They are at least one, maybe two, sizes too large also. I guess if you're after the hooligan, clockwork orange look, you'd like them just fine.
That being said, if they were narrower and more true to size, I would like them. They are well-constructed, very sturdy and have some nice features, like the ribbing on the top of the foot for catching the clutch.

Good, Big, Boots
Got these boots about a month or so ago, and have been using them almost daily since. On the site they defiantly look sleeker then they are. There is a reason that they don't show a top view; however, function wise, they are great. They offer more protection than I expected and keep my feet warm on cold days/nights. One thing, they form a crease above the joints of the toes, which I haven't decided if I like or not. All around I like the boots. Good luck.

Tough and sexy
When I ordered these bad boys online, I barely had enough time to log off my computer before the delivery guy was banging on my door with them - the delivery time was that fast! Anyway, they're tough and sexy looking, and not at all clunky. I'm a big guy, so they look and feel like regular sport hikers/light work boots on my feet. There's enough ankle flexibility for me to maneuver comfortably both on and off my bike. And as far as the pinch points inside, I've just doubled up on my socks and I'm good to go. Overall, a great product at a great price!

Big Bang Boots
They came on time, they fit like a glove. They are waterproof and the leather strap and buckle really come in handy for lashing down the shoestrings and keeping them from flopping around and coming untied. Besides, it looks great too! I'd buy from them again!

Heavy Duty : Good Looks
I purchased these because I wanted something that would protect my ankles but not look or feel awkward while riding or in the local cafe. When I got them they made my heels blister up twice (no pain, no gain because now they fit great). They will stain socks especially when they get wet as do a lot of “black” Joe Rocket products (must be a dye issue). The straps are super-cool and these boots have been scraped and had chemicals spill on them from various lab experiments and they are still holding up strong. They are also made of a heavy construction. I'm very happy with them.

These are *BIG* boots
I ordered these for street riding, and figured they'd fit the bill for wearing with jeans. My Oxtars are squeaky, and look a bit out of place in the office. Let me say that these boots seem to be well made, and have reflective dots on the back for safety. Their only downfall is they are very wide. They fit my foot, but I call these 'moon boots' because they are huge. I have not worn them to work as a result.

Ugly Bang Boots
When I first saw these boots over the internet I thought they looked ok. But as soon as they arrived and I took a good long look at them and was very disappointed. First the style looked like a snow skiing boot. They fit my foot ok but that was it. The features of the boot like the buckle still made me think I was getting ready for a trip to the mountains to go skiing. Way to Big and Bulky for what I was looking for in a good riding boot. I wanted a little more streamed line and less weight boot and these were not the ones.

Good look, affordable price
Overall, these boots deliver good style and protection. They are my first pair of riding boots so I don't have anything to compare them to, but they seem pretty comfortable - even enough to walk around the mall for a bit. Expect the heels of your socks to be black after wearing them for the first dozen times or so. You might consider wearing only dark socks at first.

Very nice boots!
I was a little unsure at first because they we pretty stiff out of the box, but once they were broken in (about a week) they became my every day riding boots. Not too high and not too low and they feel very solidly built.

Joe Rocket Big Bang Boots
The boots were very stiff when I received them and I was afraid they would take a long time to break in, but I was very surprised that after wearing them for only two days they became very comfortable. They give my feet a lot of support when riding my bike. I got stuck in a down poor the second day I wore them and it was the only part of my body that was dry when I got home, it was awesome!!!! Over all I love the boots and I think they look great.

Big Bang Boots
Purchased boots for about 2 months and find them to be warm, dry and comfortable. I have a wide foot and they fit perfect, I would recommend these boots to anyone that wears a wide boot/shoe. As far as styling goes they look low key and pretty stylish, and for under $90 what else can I say. Can't comment on durability, haven't been wearing them long.

good and bad
These boots seem to be holding up pretty well... problem is that they are too stiff in the soles, so stiff in fact that the high top digs into my Achilles tendon as I walk, and throws off my gate so much my knees hurt from just walking short distances. Unfortunately they won't let me ride my motorcycle through the office. They are wide though for those of us with a bit of girth to our feet and that makes them more comfortable than most boots.

The picture shows this boot looking much slimmer but when I got them they are very bulky and very stiff. I will be sending them back. They would be good if you have a long time to break them in. Highly durable.

Solid, Durable, Good Looking Boot
This boot may not be as comfortable as a tennis shoe, but as boots go, it's plenty comfy. I have worn them about 4 times, each time for almost a full day. If these boots get more comfortable as the break in, they will be a 5 on fit too. I get lots of compliments on these boots and I can already tell these will last me for years.

Nice style to wear with jeans. Very stiff at first. I am hoping they will eventually break in. It squeaks alot where the tongue touches/rubs at the top of the boot. Very irritating when walking. Hope that goes away with time.

Good after breakin
These boots were very uncomfortable in the beginning, especially in the heel where it cut my heels after walking in them. But over time they have become much more comfortable, I were them all the time regardless if I'm riding or not. They are tough on socks and leave dye stains that won't wash out. Despite all that I love these boots, they looks good and are usable for everyday wear. A big seller for me was the wide width of these boots, allot of boots don't accommodate those of us with wide feet. I would buy these again.
