Product Description
The Airtech XCR Gore-Tex Boots from TCX are able to guarantee users maximum protection and the highest levels of performance. TCX has a history of innovations: the Torsion Control System™ patent, used in racing and off road biking and the Metatarsal Control System®, which has for years been an important reference point in the motorcycle sector.
Comfort Fit System (CFS)
TCX products in the Touring Range are manufactured using techniques that ensure a high quality fit: the Comfort Fit System (“form moulding”), through which the upper is shaped on a mould that reproduces the anatomy of the human foot. The Touring Range is therefore extremely versatile and high quality, with high tech products that can also be used casually and in the city.
High performance Touring Sole
Touring Range models have a high-tech sole in a single density compound that is highly resistant to oil and hydrocarbons. The mixed tread pattern gives excellent, safe, reliable grip in every part of the sole for all conditions. Technical performance is combined with a superior level of comfort, thanks to the EVA inner foam layer that has the dual function of absorbing vibration and, thanks to its extreme lightness, of lightening the overall weight of sole.
Gore-Tex Membrane® with XCR® Product Technology
XCR™ Product Technology is the most recent and highly developed version of the famous Gore-Tex®, which improves on the last with a 25% increase in breathability, thanks to a lighter structure and even more advanced technology. XCR® is an acronym for Extended Comfort Range: all year indoor comfort and outdoor protection, extremely breathable to prevent feet from overheating, optimum heat conductivity and excellent moisture management.

Excellent Boots!
I've worn a pair of TCX (formerly Oxtar) full leather waterproof boots for daily commuting for years. The fit, durability and protection (saved my ankles in a crash) are excellent and are still going strong but way too hot for Florida weather. These fit the bill for 90 degrees with high humidity we have here most of the year. They’re very breathable, though I don't actually feel air rushing through like a perforated material. The fit is lighter and more comfortable when walking off the bike and the gore-tex material wicks away the sweat so you're feet feel dry. I haven't tested waterproof abilities yet but I trust they'll stay dry. They're expensive but they should last for years. Highly recommended.

TCX - Airtech XCR Boots
I did my research, read reviews and ordered the boots with a promised arrival two days before a scheduled trip. They arrived when promised and I tried them on and they felt good. Anyway without any "break in" and concern this wasn't smart I took off with the new boots on. Thirteen days, 4500 miles, 45 to 105 degree temperatures, 300 miles of rain at one stretch , boots on 12 to 14 hours every day and only one small complaint, my little toe on one foot hurt a little after the first four or five days. My feet never got to hot or to cold and they are waterproof which I wondered about for a "breathable" boot. They don't look like a conventional bike boot but for what they do I don't much care. The heavy duty leather boots will stay in Tn. for Cold weather and the new boots will be good for all my Fl. riding and summers in Tn. Bottom line--Great boots !

Great warm weather boots
These boots fit my 11 wides just right and look great. They are pricey but really let the air flow through. I've gone a thousand miles with them in the balmy Florida Keys and love the light cool feel of these boots. The velcro closures over the zippers provide a snug fit as well as easy on and off.

Great Boot
These boots fit my size 10 slightly wide feet very well. They are comfortable on and off the bike. At speed I can feel the air moving over my feet. I am very satisfied!

TCX - Airtech XCR Boots
Started riding again in March. After a couple of months of wearing hiking boot, I decided it was time for a real pair of boots for riding. A friend told me about the Airtech, because riding in Texas can be rather hot. I normally wear size 14, and I remember reading how the boots run larger, so I ordered 13. They fit great and the best thing is they flow air. I would recommend them to anyone that rides in the heat.
