All Season Rider Severn,  MD Great Gloves when working I bought these gloves after much research and reading reviews. The first pair I purchased kept my fingers warm and was welcomed after past years of having frozen fingers. They were a little bulky but I could still work the controls (turn signal, heat-troller, clutch, etc.) OK. They initially worked great, however after the second use, the left glove stopped working. Motorcycle Superstore accepted the return without any hassles. I purchased a second pair and again the left glove quit working, this time during the first use. Because I like the gloves and there are so many good reviews, I plan to try one more pair before giving up and trying a different brand.

Zoltan Sterling,  MA Firstgear - Heated Rider Gloves These gloves fit me well and are comfortable. I found that these are actually warmer and more wind-proof than my winter gloves I'd used before. And this is before I plug in the power. Initially I found them a tad stiff and clumsy, but they broke in OK and I got used to them. Good gloves for three seasons (autumn, winter, spring) and the summer too in case you live in New England.

Chuck Belmont,  MI Firtst Gear Heated Gloves You probably need the next size up to fit properly from most glove sizing. In addition to the sizing issue, the gauntlet is both too short for proper coverage over a jacket and too narrow to fit over the jacket also. The finish seems fine but time will tell as well as the durability. Features and cost benefit seem reasonable will other products of this type. I have the dual controller and that seems to be a good way to go with both the gloves and jacket as I usually have them set at different levels.

Chaz Roberts Santa Barbara,  CA Firstgear Heated Gloves I was elated when I opened up and saw the gloves. They looked and fit just like my regular riding gloves. Not bulky or heavy...just right. They hook up to the jacket liner and except for the wires hanging out, they were very comfortable and warm. I heard that there were a lot less issues with Firstgear heated clothing (compared to other brands)and that proved to be true for me. Go git 'em!

John Clinton,  WA Toasty Fingers Tired of numb fingers when riding on cool days, I was. After trying various "winter" gloves I decided to give heated gloves a try. These Firstgear heated gloves work great. I use them with the 65 watt jacket liner and the semi mounted heat-troller. I rarely ever turn the power up past 50%. The gloves are well made and quite warm even without the juice turned on. I would recommend these gloves to anyone that rides in temps below 50 degrees on a regular basis.

Eric Bellingham,  WA Warm and Dry in the Pacific Northwest I picked up a pair of the Firstgear Heated Gloves as I was tired of my knuckles freezing and my palms being warm with only my heated grips. These gloves keep my entire hand dry and very warm so I can enjoy a longer riding season in comfort.

Michael Dean Ashburn,  VA These are great! After going to work on a 20-degree day and having my hands get uncomfortably cold (probably a little unsafe as I couldn't move my fingertips that quickly), I decided to take the plunge. Well, the Firstgear gloves are fantastic. I ride in 20-degree weather with warm hands - yes warm. It's actually an odd feeling at first. Coming home from school one night (about 30 to 35 degrees); the cold was all around but my hands were probably 90 degrees! All I could do was laugh and enjoy. The service from Motorcycle Superstore was awesome. I didn't realize I need an adaptor since I was plugging into the Heat-troller (as opposed to plugging into a jacket) but the sales rep hooked me up with the info. Great work!

Mark Baltimore,  MD Kevlar Heated Gloves I bought the liner, Kevlar gloves and dual controller. Toasty warm. All work perfectly. I rode for 2 hours on I-95 yesterday (75mph) in 40 degree weather with my jacket liner and gloves on high. I was toasty warm, just like riding in summer. I've used my gear 5 or 6 times. The gloves are not near as bulky as the snowmobile gloves I used to have to wear when it got cold. Gauntlets keep all wind out. No strain on my electrical system ('03 HD Road King). Easy to install. A little spendy, but REALLY nice to have. I haven't used the gear in a heavy rain...yet. If it performs as well in a heavy rain as it has so far, it'll be worth every penny to those of us who ride all year.

Francisco Queens,  NY Life savers I was used to summer gloves these seemed a little uncomfortable but bulky is no sacrifice for the bitter cold. These are lifesavers in the winter since warm and waterproof. I was under the impression gloves heat up at times then deactivate but it could be just me. Other than the heat, it is flawless in all fingers. Will keep enjoying during winter and spring.

Steve Golik Andover,  KS Heated Gloves I bought the gloves along with the jacket liner and dual controller. The gloves are pretty warm even before you turn them on. I have only had to turn them up about 25% to keep my hands warm. They work well with the jacket liner. I recommend this product for anyone looking for heat equipment.

Rick Long Seaside,  OR heated gloves Thumbs used to get numb very fast, even in moderately cold weather. Not anymore and I really only need to turn them up to about half wattage. I got the double controller but to tell the truth I use both at about half to 3/4 setting (jkt liner and gloves). I find the quality very good and they work well in the rain also as we get a lot of that on the Oregon coast. Went on a ride a while back with some friends over the coast range which is about 1600 feet high. Everyone was cold when we got to the other side and as I pulled up I said,"Is it hot here or what?" They looked over at me and there had been a little rain and my gloves had some steam coming of them. They hated me, but hey, I was the warm one. Finger tips and thumb still get a tad numb but nothing like without the heat. I liked it all well enough that I bought the pant liner also. Have not used them yet but feel confident I will be a lot warmer.

T. Kesler Maywood,  NJ Warm and Toasty Heated grips are great but they don't address the key issue with cold weather riding. It's the back of my hands that is getting cold, not my palms. These gloves have a good balance of insulation without being too bulky and good wind blocking ability. I only need to turn them on below 45 degrees.

Mike Loveridge Camas,  WA Nice heated gloves These gloves are very nicely made and are warm even without the heat. Once heated, my fingers never get feeling cold. They connect to my Tourmaster jacket and when controlled by the jacket, they are fine. I also have a separate heat controller that I've not used yet to control them individually. Gauntlet is not quite big enough to get over my jacket sleeves easily. The thumbs are a bit long too making them a bit clumsy to get them on especially when struggling to get the gauntlets on. Would still recommend.

Ronald Lemoore,  CA FirstGear Heated Rider Gloves Well the gloves are great, no more hands freezing for me. They fit well, can't speak for being waterproof yet. I will say if only ordering gloves you must get the DC Y adapter cable, the controller does not come with that and neither do the gloves.

Richard Tucson,  AZ Firstgear - Heated Rider Gloves This is my Third pair of these gloves. The first pair died after a few months and the company replaced them with another pair. Those were listed as large but were way too tight. I ordered another pair in XL and they fit snugly. So be sure to order one size larger. They work well at keeping the hands warm, but in really cold conditions the finger tips and thumb area do get chilly. For the price they do a good job. I will see how well this pair holds up to riding, as of now I've only worn the new ones a few times.

Mike Carroll Willow Spring,  NC Great product to extend the riding season With gas prices as high as they were, it wasn't feasible for me to drive my truck 50 miles a day to work at 13 mpg. So it was necessary for me to be able to ride in the cold weather but, despite trying several pair, I could not find a pair of gloves that kept my fingers from going completely numb after about 20 minutes of riding. This was my first experience with heated apparel and I could not be more pleased. I am able to ride a, 45 minute to an hour ride, to work and the gloves keep my hands very comfortable. I have used them in temperatures as low as the upper 20s to low 30s and found my hands are still very warm. The only areas of your hand the gloves do not keep completely warm are the very tips of your fingers, but I found that if I try to keep my fingertips from pressing tightly against the tip of the glove, that helps a lot. All in all it is a great product if you need to ride in cold weather.

Grant Pinehurst,  NC Suzuki Boulevard C50, Liner+Gloves Liner is great, light weight, thin and fits under the jacket fine. It is like a electric blanket wrapped around you in the cold. Got the 90-watt, doesn't seem to affect the voltage. Hope it stays that way. Gloves may have been defective, returned them to try another pair. Problem was, the left hand heated great, but not the right. Turning the heat all the way up to compensate resulted in too much heat on the top of the left hand every time I flexed my hand (use clutch). Got really uncomfortably hot at stops. Otherwise glove worked great. Heating elements seem to just run on top so you can feel cold on bottom, but your hands do not freeze. Coldest temp I've rode in: 30's factor in wind chill and that’s about as cold as I choose until I the pants liner.

Peg M Concord,  MA Very nice Great gloves, kept my fingers nice and warm from September through November. Just wear them once or twice and you will get used to the thickness. No problems at all using them, can pull the brake and clutch just fine. I won't do without them!

Paul West Newton,  MA First Gear Heated Gloves These gloves are great! thin enough to allow me to fiddle with all the controls on my Suzuki Burgman: 4 way flashers, windscreen up and down, starter, turning signals, horn, passing flasher, engine switch and keep my brakes covered at all times. Yet warm enough to protect me from numb fingers down to 45 degrees at highway speeds. Below that I hook them up to the leads from the battery for heat. The heat is good, though as I do keep my brakes covered I wish there was a little more in the finger tips, the backs of my hands stay nice and warm though as do the length of my fingers on a 3/4 setting of the dial on the controller. Some of the heating wires come a little close to the skin as I did burn my pinky a bit when it was turned all the way up, it hurt - but not as bad as if I had not heat at all on that cold ride (below 40F). I recommend a pair of silk glove liners with them to add a bit more between you and the wires and so you don't need to turn it up so high. All in all I am very pleased with the gloves and would by the same again if I lost them - the Gerbing gloves are just too bulky to ride with and still be able to push the buttons as you lose some tactile sensation that's all important so you don't need to look down to see where that darn button is. Only other wishes on my list is that the gauntlets are not that big, even on the XXL so if you are wearing a couple of coats they tend to bunch up and not go over them, and the windshield wiper on the finger should be on the thumb, as I've nearly scraped my nose while scratching an itch while riding.

Dave Webster San Marcos,  CA They Work You can really feel the heat on the top of the gloves, but the only problem that I have found so far is that it doesn’t really reach to the finger tips. I use these gloves in conjunction with the 90 watt liner. The liner is awesome, and for the most part so are the gloves. I just find that after riding for about 45 minutes with the temp being about 40 degrees, my finger tips start to get numb. All in all though, they are much better than any non-heated gloves out there.

Lewis McMillan Atlanta,  GA Firstgear Heated Gloves Great product. Gloves have a good feel - not too thick. Leather and stitching is excellent quality. Wiper blade on the left finger is nice feature. Two velcro adjustment straps - one across the back of the hand at the wrist and the second on the underside of the gauntlet. Uses a coax-style connector (Gerbing style). Highly recommend.

Audrey Mt. Sterling,  OH Well worth the money I bought these as a Christmas/Anniversary gift for my husband and he just loves them. No problem keeping his hands warm now. He even wore them riding on a 28 degree evening and had no problem keeping his hands warm. He said they're well worth the money.
