Riding Season Never Stops!

This vest is the real reason why my riding season was extended through this last Winter. This is good- did not have to winterize my bike; kept sharp on riding skills. It didn't matter how cold it was. Easy install wiring, fits right, keeps me warm and cozy. Only issue was to buy an extension cable, as cable from vest is too short. Highly recommended! Better than loading the bike with fuel stabilizers, battery tenders, hope it runs OK the Spring, and be depressed that riding season is so far off.

So Far,...

Used this vest a half a dozen times so far and love it! Gets so hot I have to shut it off! Rate cost benefit high because a $4.25 per gallon, buying this and riding, I pay for it in less than a month with gas savings over driving my pick-up.

My morning commute just got a lot better

This vest is amazing. 24 degrees used to feel cold on my 45 minute morning commute. Now, I plug in, press the green button, and within seconds I feel heat reaching me. Between the vest and heated grips, I'm all set. Now I look forward to the morning ride, not just the afternoon! Installation was a snap, just connect to the battery and route the wires under the seat towards the tank. Someday, I may convert to a powerlet outlet and adaptor, but for now, I'm using the connection set up that came with the vest, and I velcro the strap on my thigh for the controller. I'm 6'3, 190 lbs., and I went with the large. Maybe, I could have gone with the medium to be tighter across my stomach, but overall the fit is great. I highly recommend this product!

Synergy electric vest with collar

I like the light weight, but the thermostat could be located in an easier to access location. Heats up quickly.

Booooo!

Was about to order....until I found out it cannot hook up to either the factory BMW outlet or even the SAE connector (Battery Tender) already on my battery, without spending more money for extra add-ons or attaching yet another, proprietary wiring harness to the battery. Ridiculously lame! Come on Tour Master

Synergy Heated Clothing

35 deg. this morning with wind chill down to 25 deg. Heated vest under a mesh jacket with liner and enjoyed every minute of the ride to work. Have the heated gloves and heated chaps but no need for them as my commute is only 20 minutes. Haves used the complete outfit on 10 hr. rides and the only complaint I have is the vest must be on high to get sufficient heat to the chaps and gloves. Gets a little warm at the upper torso.

Required gear for sub freezing rides!

I purchased the heated vest with the collar as I didn't want to let Winter keep me off the bike. The installation was a breeze with the included wire terminals. In ten minutes it was hooked up and toasting me! It only takes a few seconds for the vest to warm up and really made a difference. I can now ride comfortably in temps below 25 degrees with only my hands becoming an issue. Mid level is pretty toasty and high is downright hot. I did have to keep the zip-in insulation installed in my riding jacket to keep the arms warm. If I had it to do over again, I would spend the extra bux and buy the heated jacket which would solve the arm issue. Also, with no sleeves, the vest doesn't stay inserted in the jacket upon removal which can be a pain sometimes. Still, I no longer look like the Michelin man with five layers of clothes on when I ride. I fully recommend this vest and wonder why I didn't purchase one before my ride to the Arctic Circle!

Synergy Vest

The vest was received in a timely manner, and we used just yesterday. The vest works great in 20 degree weather. Kept me warm the whole ride, and I could not be more pleased with the quality and the performance.

Heated vest with collar

This heated vest works great and I am glad I got it with the collar. I live in New York and have actually had to turn this down when I come to stops. It is sized a little small. I am 6’3 and 300 pounds and the 4x is a little snug. Indicator lights are a bit hard to see during the daylight. The wiring harness was too short for my bike, ( Suzuki C90). I had to add a foot of wire to both leads to keep the wire away from the engine. The wire coming out of the vest was also to short. The coiled extension from the manufacturer works great with this. I would recommend this vest to anyone.

heated vest

The vest works very well. Would like to see the size a little bigger. I'm 6'3 and 300 lbs and am afraid it will rip eventually. Only had it for a month so can’t really comment on durability. The cables could be longer. I have a Suzuki c90 and the battery is down between my feet. I had to splice about a foot of wire on both leads to keep it away from the hotter parts of the engine. The lead coming out of the vest is also way too short. Had to sit on the bike and open my jacket, hook up the lead then try to close jacket. Purchased the coiled extension from manufacture and it works great. I can now stand next to bike, hook up then get on. This is so much easier!!! The down side is that they could not send it directly to me. Had to have it shipped to a local dealer. Overall I am extremely pleased with the performance. For the cost of lengthening the wiring it would be a lot easier to install and operate (on my bike anyway).
