Orange Fieldsheer On base Vest
When in local traffic, folks really do see me. Highly visible and comfortable. Exterior front breast pocket is clear and on Velcro which allows your ID card visible and quickly detaches. It's waterproof.
The vest is sized so that it can go from a small size to large. The small is the standard factory size as delivered. It is very well made. It fits me and I wear a medium jacket.
The orange is required for military driving their motorcycles on base.
The orange color matches my Lucifer Orange tank on my Triumph T-100 2002 Anniversary Edition.
I would not hesitate wearing the vest over my Fieldsheer Jacket even on longer trips in traffic for the added safety.

High Vis
I bought the high vis yellow model. I like all the pockets. Not a fan of the ID window. Wouldn't want to ride around with my ID badge just held on by velcro. It's also so full of wrinkles and bubbles you can't hardly see through it. That's why I gave a 4 for finish.

Not quite the product I had expected
Product material weight or thickness definitely on the thin side. I wear an XL on all items usually, but I should have ordered the smaller size. The side adjustment elastic straps definitely do not provide for enough adjustment or tightening.

I like the velcro pocket for your id card. It also has a pocket in the back with a zipper so you can put your gloves in it or your sun glasses when you are ridding at night. I also like the pull strings on the side so it is easy to adjust the size. The only thing I don't like about it is it isn't mesh so it can get warm when not in motion.

Overall great vest, cheaper than the Icon and it still gets some nice comments from other riders that see it. The ID holder is a little clumsy, but thats really the only complaint. Sizing is right, even with a leather jacket the large was large enough, with plenty of room to go.

Vest is quality
The orange military vest I ordered works well. I would recommend it if you needed one. The only awkward part on the vest is the front ID holder, its a velcro piece all around the ID instead of a slot that you can slide your ID into. Its a good idea, I just think it could be thought through a little more.

Follow the other's advice - Don't use the holder
I got an H-D vest and an Icon vest and my buddy went with this one. His first lengthy ride off base = lost ID card. I really like the look compared to the super orange HD vest and it seems to have similar quality aspects of the Icon vest, however, I have no problems w/the ID holder on either of those, plus they were cheaper by $5, each.

Not bad, don't use ID holder
Got the vest on sale, fits over my jacket, and complies with base regulations. Quality construction, nice pockets. However ID holder only has 3/8" strip of velcro around ID holder. My ID blew off my vest somewhere on the highway. Cost me several hours of trouble to get a new ID. Overall, good product, just don't use the ID holder!

Fieldsheer Vest
This is a great vest and good value for the money. I ride on and off a Military installation all the time and it works perfect for that. I especially like the peel away Velcro for the ID card as well as the outside pocket. I looked at the Harley labeled product which was twice as much and it did not have all the features of this vest.

Durable great vest
The vest is a little on the big side. I'm 6'6" and normally wear large to extra large. I wanted to bank on going bigger, but I kind of regret not getting the Medium-Large vest. Otherwise all the pockets are great and it’s comfortable to wear.

Fieldsheer - On Base Vest
I ride a bicycle and this vest looks cool. I have been wearing this vest for a month and really like it. Does not get me hot like a jacket. I had one person ask me where I got it. I don't like the pocket on the front though, but that's just my preference.

Vest is very comfortable, you can't even tell you have it on. The I.D. pouch very easy to remove and put back on. Right breast pocket very nice for cell phone or other small items you may need to carry.

Fieldsheer Vest
This is exactly what you need to drive on a military base! The clear pocket in the front is just the right size for your ID. The size chart was dead on. It fits well and is not too hot. That’s nice on the summer commute here in SoCal. All the other bike riders I work with have the Icon vest. So it’s nice to look different. Plus it’s cheaper too!

I purchased one of these vests for both me and my wife. The fit is adjustable for each size, and is highly visible for safety purposes. I would recommend this article to every motorcycle rider to increase your visibility for other drivers.
