james williamsburg,  MI Kinda what I extected I guess the most important thing is you will never get wet with these on, and they are very compact in there storage bag. I wear a 10 1/2 steel toe boot and the XL is a little long but very snug otherwise. I guess I just expected something a bit higher quality for the price.

Rob Falls Church,  VA If you can get over the resevoir tip thing...great boots I have no major complaints about these rain boots. The pointy toes thing is disappointing, but they keep your feet dry and are durable. Good value for the money.

Brian Port Orchard,  WA great except for inaccurate sizing It is not easy to stretch them at the heal. I wear size 10. That being said... I recently purchased an x-large pair and have no problems. This is a very good product that I use daily for 9 months out of the year. My first pair never ripped or punctured. Final word - buy them but order a larger size

GP Fox Shelbyville,  IN Firstgear Rubber Rainboots The FRR are much like a product I used a few years back. They were called Totes Rainboots. Neither brand are not durable enough for off road use, however they are so pliable that you can keep them tucked away in a corner of your saddlebag for use in case of a rain storm. The user must be very gentle inserting their foot into the rainboot or they will tear, use caution. They must be on the inside of your rain pants!!!!!! Not outside.

William Salem,  VA Firstgear - Rubber Rain Boots I purchased two pair, one for my wife and one for myself. The size chart worked great, they are perfect fits. The tall shaft ensures they don't allow any rain into your shoes and our rain pants fit nicely over the boots. The price was also very reasonable.

Anuranjan New York,  NY Excellent protection for less! For what it costs, it’s an amazing deal. Tested it last night in pouring rain in India. It has no slippage issues, it does not slip off the shoes and keeps your feet dry even when you put your foot down in 5 inches of water! It could do with some extra features like a strap at the top to prevent the top of the boots from folding down and coming out of under the rain pants. Otherwise a must-have if you have to ride in the rains! Excellent!

Max Hankley Sebring,  FL Firstgear rubber rain boots Used Johnson's baby powder in boots to make them slide over shoes. Have used them quite a lot mowing yard. Haven't needed them yet on the bike. Take up very little space. Just hose them off to clean them. Well worth the money.

Mike Gillman Coffeyville,  KS good insurance just in case you need them These boots are thin rubber, but really stretch without failure so far! I have not had to use them yet but they seem like they would do a good job keeping your feet dry. I would recommend getting the next size bigger than you need. Trust me they will fit. They seem to run small and by going with the larger size I think you will find that they not only will go over your shoe easier but will be less likely to rip or tear as others have reported. I would recommend them!

Jeremy Portland,  OR Good for unexpected rain, bad for actual use I bought these because I had a 3 day ride coming up with 3 days of rain in the forecast and no waterproof boots. They were cheap and they were shipped fast. You get what you pay for. They ripped the first time I put them on. I wear an 11.5 and I ordered the large. It was a small rip so I duct taped them and left them over my boots for the rest of the trip because I was afraid it would rip more when I put them back on. It rained hard the entire time and my feet stayed dry. So I would have to say that because they are cheap, come in a tiny bag, and will probably work when you need them, they are good to have stashed away on your bike if you don't already have weatherproof boots.

Brian Cescot Newburgh,  NY Firstgear - Rubber Rain Boots These boots are worth the money. They are about 8 inches taller than Totes rain boots so they provide far better protection from rain. I expected thin rubber, but the boots are fairly heavy gauge & look like they will last quite a while. The boots are shaped like Western boots (pointy toes), so if you wear round toed shoes you can expect some excess toe space. I wear a 10.5D boot/shoe & was going to order a large size, but on reviewer recommendations, I ordered the extra large. Glad I did, as a large would have been way too snug & difficult to put on.

JT Greer,  SC Cheap Protection You get what you pay for right? Well I had no idea that functional and packable rubber rain boots were so reasonably priced. These are cheap insurance for those unplanned rain storms that can make you miserable, when your feet get wet. For $15 you can't go wrong, I've used them twice and they worked fine.

John Finity Ashburn,  VA Firstgear - Rubber Rain Boots They are nice boots for the price. I thought I'd buy the XL size for my size 12 boots. However - they were HUGE! I'd have to stuff a sock into the boots to make them fit ;-) I ended up returning/exchanging for next smaller size. I should have paid more attention to the other reviews. LARGE is sufficient for size 12.

Robert Nordmeyer Marysville,  WA Firstgear rubber rain boots Ordered L size, and they fit my light weight summer boots in size 9 1/2, but too tight over my Herman Survivors. I had to order a XL for those. Pointy toes look funny, but don't interfere with function. Good traction on wet road.

David Washington,  PA First gear rubber rain boots I wear a 9.5 boot; I felt the large rain boot was a little too big but usable and easy to get on and off. I have used them in the rain one time and they did keep my boots dry. They roll up and take up very little space when you’re not using them and have their own little storage bag.

Peter Turner Islip,  NY Firstgear rubber rain boots On a trip to New Hampshire I had two days of rain out of four. The boots performed well but they are hard to get on and off. The idea of making them fit pointy cowboy made them look funny with my round toed boots. They did a good job of keeping my feet dry.

schoe26 Acworth,  GA Firstgear - Rubber Rain Boots I bought this for the pop-up thunder storms in Atlanta. I have used it only once and it worked out very well with my one piece rain suit. The fit was good. The material was surprisingly more durable than I thought and the grip on the bottom worked well in the rain. The best part is that it folds into a case and is very small and takes up almost no space at all. Finally, the price seals the deal. A great buy for the price and size for something you can tuck away and have at all times on your bike.

Rob Bossart Sparta,  NJ First Gear Rubber Rain Boots The fit was a little tight over my boots, next time I'll try a plastic grocery bag as a liner over my boots, and then slip the rain boots on. Excellent at keeping out the water, traction OK, Great for Halloween if you want to go as a rice farmer.

Jay Witherell Spring Hill,  FL Rain boots By far the best boot for the buck. These were easy to pull on over shoes and the rubber is strong enough to give a hard pull on, also the bottom is rough enough to prevent slipping.

Ed Kingston,  NY Foot Saver! I bought these over boots and they’re awesome! They were the best $16.00 I ever spent. I went on an 1800 mile ride and bought some rain gear, bought these just in case. I was the only one in a pack of 8 to have them and the only one with dry feet each and every day it rained. They grabbed the pegs good and didn't constrict the foot to much, but kept it nice and dry and warm. I would highly suggest these, others I have seen don’t fit as well, but these are truly a good fit over my race boots.

Ron Shearer Portland,  OR Rubber rain boots Without these boots, the one-piece suit would be worthless, because wet shoes and socks made for a long day at work. But these are life-savers, despite the slightly lackluster ratings. After all, they are rubber boots. The finish and features are not factors. The fit and durability are key. And so far, they have what they are supposed to do. Living in Oregon, I have learned to never ride without these boots in my backpack.

David Decatur,  NY Rain Overboot The boot is definitely waterproof and the rubber seems to be of good enough quality to stand up to a lot of use. It's tough rubber and it is very difficult to put on. Its shape does not conform to the modern motorcycle/work boot shape. I would recommend getting one larger size than the sizing charts recommend.
