Tinh Lynnwood,  WA Great Pants! These pants are great! Definitely design for its use. I am 5'6" at 150lbs and I wear pant sizes 30x30. I ordered small and they fit great over my jeans. They are definitely long and they do look baggy but I don't mind it. They do also help keep your legs a little warmer. The quality is great! I bought the rainman pants and jacket and they are both great. It is definitely nice also that they can be packed into a small bag. I always bring these with me just in case it’s too cold me or it rains. Great Product!

Don M. LaVergne,  TN High & Dry Great rain pants. Keeps the water out and can put them on sitting beside the road with very little effort. Having used them several times, I would buy another pair.

Dave abingdon,  VA Rainman Pants Well made and functional. Packs nicely and is a fairly good looking pair of rain pants. Wore in a heavy afternoon rain storm and stayed dry, except for some perspiration. Does not breath as well indicated in the description. But still a nice item for the money.

Mark Mount Vernon,  WA Firstgear - Rainman Pants I got a chance to wear these on my return trip home from Star Days riding through Wyoming and they worked great. I wished that I had thought to order rain covers for my boots as well.

Harry Niese Barrington,  IL Rainman Pants keep you dry Just returned from two weeks in Glacier National Park. Experienced rain, sleet, hail, snow. The First Gear Rainman pants kept me dry and warm through it all. The only complaint is the lining at the zipper tends to get caught when putting the pants on and also gets caught when zipping up the leg. May try to cut and sew so I don't have that problem anymore. Would recommend.

Tony Ocala,  FL Firstgear Rainman Pants After burning two pair of Rain pants on my pipes, I decided I needed to purchase a good quality set of pants with heat resistant material. The Firstgear Rainman Pants fit the bill. The pants have a rear pocket, I would prefer a front pocket instead (its more comfortable then having to sit on something in your rear pocket). The pants could also use reflective material on the legs for more visibility .

Brooke Harry III Oklahoma City,  OK Couldn't Believe They Fit My experiences buying motorcycle apparel have been mostly disappointing. At (6'8" x 350 lbs I can almost never find anything in my size. Much to my surprise these fit perfectly, including the length! They are well-made and have several features not found on lesser gear. On a weekend ride in the Ozarks we caught a lot of rain, but I was completely dry and comfortable. I could not recommend them any higher.

Gary Saint Louis,  MO Completely Dry Pants I've only had the pants for about a month now, but I ride to work every day. Seems like every other day it rains. So far, I have had a completely dry experience with these pants. I think they are great.

rcarey austin,  TX Great rain or wind cutting pants I like these pants. They will substitute for long under-ware on cool mornings and will keep you dry. Zipper on legs make getting into them easy and heat protector works.

John Corwin Jacksonville,  NC The best there is. I bought these because I could put them on without sitting down. The legs have a zipper so you can get your boots in the pants real easy and there is no mesh to get your boot caught on. The boots slid in very easy. I ride in the worst rain and these pants are just super and you are dry...

Stephen Fast Wichita,  KS Rain pants These pants did very well in the rain and the part designed to keep the pants from melting on the exhaust worked really well. They are longer than I expected, and I'm about 6' 1" tall; even while sitting down, they were too long. But I'd rather have them too long than too short.

Joseph Triolo Gormley,  ON NIce Pants Took these out for my first weekend ride and got caught in the rain. They were great. I stayed dry throughout and they were dry after hanging them to dry overnight. Size was a little small but that could be because of the bulky pants I had on for warmth.

Steven Renton,  WA Works well in the rain Great pants, they kept me completely dry in the rain, riding Portland to Seattle. Sizing recommendation is a little off - I typically would go XL (38 waist) but I found the L was big enough. Fits fine over jeans. It has zipper and Velcro on the bottom cuff to slip over your shoe/boot. These babies will keep your legs dry and warm, excellent value at the price.

Eric Poland,  NY Excellent rain pant This pant is what you would expect for the price. Keeps you dry in a heavy rain. The heat resistant panels on the inner legs are a must for those hot pipes. Durability I gave a 3 only because I have not had them to long. Time will tell.

CMcCoy Concord,  CA First Gear Rainman Pants Bought these with the jacket for a Pacific Coast Hiway trip from SF to SEA...didn't rain, so can't speak to water deterrence...but, the sizing chart is way off...I bought large pants using their sizing chart...and they're way big...kept them for ease of fitting over jeans, but still kind of baggy...and they're extra long...so you have to pull the waist up over your belly....guess I need to drink more beer....

Jim van Tol Burnaby,  BC Rain pants Very happy with the look and how it fits! I am a 32 waist and 34 long. I ordered the medium size and they fit very nice! I have room to wear jeans underneath and still feel very comfortable! Length is very good!! Not sure about water yet because I haven't been in constant rain! Very good product for the money!!!!

Tim Seattle,  WA Great Pants - Bad Sizing Chart These things are great. Great rain protection, great thermal protection below the knees. There's also an attached pouch you can stuff them into so you can store them in pretty tight spaces. But you definitely want to get a size smaller than the sizing chart would suggest, as these pants run large. I'm 6' with a 32" waist. I had to send back the Large to get a Medium; and even those are a little long. Finally, you will want to have waterproof boots with these. The zippered legs are great for getting any size shoe through the legs, but they won't help you below the ankle.

Larry Bundy Sugar Land,  TX First Gear Rainman Pants...Battle tested I've had the pants for over 8 months but the real story begins with a ride from Houston to Atlanta. It rained the entire day...sometimes as much as 1 inch per hour with 40 MPH winds in Louisiana. The pants were bullet proof!! I stayed dry for the 13 HR ride. The Harley has had no plastic melt on the pipes since owning these wonderful pants. Wonderful Product!!! A Plus...Thank-you First Gear, you made a believer out of me. I'm buying another pair to protect myself should you get confused and decide to discontinue them.

Robert Scott Dayton,  CA Firstgear Rainman Rain Pant I am 5'8", 180lb, 35 waist, 30 inseam. Size M is an excellent fit although the pant leg length would probably fit someone with a 34 inseam. I especially like the gusseted lower leg zippered opening. One improvement I would make is to lengthen the hook/loop fastener at the ankle closure so the pant leg bottom could be made tighter around the boot. The heat shielding is functional and will prevent accidental burn holes from the pipes. The vinyl material is heavy duty with welded seams and made to

taro Knoxville,  TN Rainman Rain Pant Today was the first day that I've seen any significant rain since I've bought these pants and I'm glad to report that I am very pleased with them. I especially like the gussetted zipps down at the ankle, which do not let any water that might make it past the zipper into your boot or onto your pants, the fact that the pockets do not give water direct access to the clothes you are wearing under the raingear, the generous amount of heat shielding on the lower legs, and the sturdy feel of the pant.

Rick Huffman Lakeland,  TX Rainman Rain Pant 5'10" tall 200 lbs. 36 " waist. I ordered the large pants and they were too long and more than ample room in the waist and seat. Probably could have gotten a better fit from the medium. What I thought was going to be a heat shield on the legs was additional rainproof material covering shins to the knee. Some risk of touching hot pipes on right leg. Otherwise great.

Michael Hall Champaign,  MA Firstgear Rainman Rain Pant An excellent value for the money. They pack small so I can always have them available and they have kept me completely dry through some pretty heavy spring rain. The heat resistant material is a big plus, no holes melted on my pipes. They also help to keep my legs warm in cold wind.
