Terrible Design
Take a close look at the picture. What do you see? There are 8(!) separate panels of cloth making up the knee portion, all sewn together. Why would anyone design a rain pant to have so many seams in the part of the body that is most exposed to the rain?? My pair leaked constantly. I even went so far as to use silicon seam sealer on them, which helped. But they still leak here and there. Useless!! I'm now getting a different brand.

Sentinel Rain Pants
Very pleased with look and comfort. Buy size bigger than what you wear. Very waterproof with extra goodies. Would buy again! (but shouldn't have to for a while)

The rain pants are a great deal overall. The only problem I have with them is that you have to take your boots off when putting on and taking off the rain pants. The zipper should extend further up the pants legs.

They work but....
I have used these in downpours and they work at keeping you dry. However the craftsmanship is very low. The zipper ripped off at the first toll booth I came to and the next one ripped off a few days later. The zipper is very weak metal that you can bend without even trying. While putting them on I was able to rip a hole in the inside lining. Seems to be good outer material but just not well made.

Good product for the price point
I've worn these a few times and they kept me dry, they fit well over my pants and are not too difficult to get on while you are standing by your bike under a bridge overpass. They don't breathe so wearing them as a precaution on a warm day wouldn't be an option because you would be soaked from sweat before you arrived. They pack to a reasonable size so I always keep them in my side bags. I'd buy them again. I'm 5'10” 185lbs and bought a Large, which fits well over my pants.

Shortly after purchasing these pants I took a trip from Virginia to New Jersey. As soon as I rode into Jersey the skies opened up. It was raining so hard that cars were pulling over. I stopped under and overpass and put on my suit and kept on riding. The suit kept me completely dry. These are great pair of rain pants. If you're thinking about getting one, buy it!!

A Good Buy
These pants work great. I have had the opportunity to wear them several times due to bad weather and have stayed bone dry every time. I only have to two issues (if you want to call them that). First, you have to take your boots off to get them on (not a big deal). Second, unless you secure them to your jacket via the “zippered strip” on the back of the pants (if your jacket is made to accommodate it) they do slip down a little. I'd call these minor inconveniences based on the price you pay for the pants. They fold-up well for easy storage also. A very good buy.

Pants
The pants are very hard to put on over riding boots. Need to start out with them on. And get a size larger than you think.

I am 6 ft tall with a 34 inch waist, the medium fits just fine. I only wore it once in a mild rain on the highway. It kept my legs dry.

Stayed dry
Not sure of durability yet. But the pants kept me completely dry in a down pour and it dried off quickly too.

good pant for rain
I bought these pants on reviews seen. First off they are sized to fit over regular pants. So if you are a large order a large, they are cut pretty generously. They are a bit of a pain to get over boots but most rain gear is. The thing lacking is a stirrup though. It would be nice to have. The heat resistant fabric sewn on the inner legs is a good idea so that if you do touch your pipes you don't ruin them. The reflective trim and articulating knees are nice to. One last thing a draw string or velcro waistband should be put on they have a tendency to sag when off the bike. But overall these are pretty good pants. They are waterproof.

A Must Have!!!
I drove into a rain storm last weekend. First time I had the chance to try them. Getting the pants over the boots took a bit of a struggle, but once they were on, I was dry and warm for the ride. The pants went over jeans and were very comfortable.

They Keep The Rain Out
I am 6'4” with a 38-40 waist in pants with a long inseam so I bought XXL to ensure fit/length. To this end I love the fit but with the mesh liner they are a pain to get on over my motorcycle boots. Once on however they do keep out the rain very well. In the mid-west humidity they don't breathe and I tend to sweat some. Finish is very good and price is very good also in my opinion. Combined with my Vega tour boots and Fieldsheer Aqua jacket just let it rain, I keep pretty well dry. For features, a couple of zipper side pockets and a high back waist piece to ensure you don’t get a trickle of water down your back ...very uncomfortable if you know what I mean. As some said they don’t pack down very small but not really a complaint. They do come with a small zippered bag to keep them in also. They do their job and do it quite well for an affordable price.

I have only had the opportunity to wear them once in a light rain since the purchase. I have no doubt they will keep me dry even in the hardest of rains.

Pants are an excellent rain pant. Quality is very good especially at this price point. A plus is the ability to order different sizes in the pants and jacket for a better fit. Only down side is a small one. Rain suit does not pack down as small as other suits I have owned.

Sentinel Rant Pants
These pants kept me dry during a good rain.
A few comments.
1) I have a bit of a struggle getting my boots through the leg of these pants. They need to expand more.
2) Buy big. I had to exchange these because they said these are sized to fit over riding gear. I don't feel that is the case.
3) The zipper in the back of the pants that connect the jacket and pants is not practical. I cannot zip it by myself

Good so far
I have only had to use them once but they came in handy on a very cold windy day. Not only did they keep me dry but they kept the cold out.

Great pants for the price, slightly large
I'm a big guy, 6'4" 255 but these are a little loose on me at a XL, other than that these are great pants, look fine and can't be beat for this price.

One of the best purchases I've made where motorcycle clothing is concerned. Although not insulated, they allow me to ride in 40 degree weather to work, which is an 18 mile commute. If I was to go on a longer ride, I would buy insulated pants.
