BT-023

just went 3700+ from fla. to pa., and played hooligan a bit in n.c. on a ZRX, and they're still fresh... at first I wasn't too sure, but after playing w/the tire pressure a bit, I like them a lot. I had the recommended 32/36 cold in them, but that was way too much, really chattered. went down to 28/32 cold, and then they worked much better. seem to wear great too, hit it hard on some corners, and the chicken strips go right away... definitely better wear than the metzler sportec m-3's that I had before, ate them after 4000....

Great Sport Touring Tire

This is very stable on the highway as well as on a twisty road. I have not yet had a chance to experience it in the wet but based upon the BT-020 tires I've used I expect it to be quite good. Similarly, since I just mounted the tire I can't rank the tread wear but I expect to get even better mileage than the 15k miles I've gotten from my last 2 sets of BT-020 tires. This tire makes my sport touring bike feel and handle more like a 400 pound sport bike rather than the 650 pound sport touring bike it really is.

Excellent performance

I have a Ninja 636 and I recently purchased this tire to replace my BT-012 and BT-019(original set 10k miles, second set 6500 miles) and at first the handling was feeling kinda weird, but after the first 100 miles; let me tell you that the life of this tire start to show up, I really wasn't expecting much, but the way the tire grab the asphalt is like a soft slick tire on a race track. I haven't had a chance to run long miles stints yet; but tread life seems to be a complete improvement from the previous tires. I mostly use the bike to commute on a highway 65~75 mph (95% of the time) and the rest is rising back roads here in Eastern TN, close to the smokies.

bridgestone 023

Ordered on a Sun. received tire on Wed. Great fit, looks and great cornering. When the front tire needs replaced I will put the 023 on. Can't commit on tread life only have 1000 miles on it.

Bridgestone vs. Dunlop

Tire has been excellent during first 500 miles. Great road feedback to handlebars, stable in turns, and great grip. Have not ridden in rain yet. Much better than the Dunlop that I have used twice. Bike is a 1994 Honda ST1100 w/ 71,000 miles. Riding a combination of concrete 4 lane to work and winding 2 lane asphalt on weekends.

Good Tire!

I put the BT-023 on my Kawasaki Concours replacing the stock BT-021 tire. The 023 has proven to be a better tire. I only got 7K miles on the BT-021 before it had to be replaced. I put 6K miles so far on the BT-023 and the tire still has plenty of tread life remaining. I'm estimating at least another 4 - 5K miles of wear remaining. I haven't noticed any negative difference in the overall ride between the 023 and 021. I've ridden in all conditions from 95F summer heat to 37F wet and cold. I'm very satisfied with the overall performance and would definitely purchase again.

Bridgestone Battlax BT-023 Sport Touring Rear Tire

I've had a set of these tires on a Ninja 650R for a little over 1000 miles. I have only had about an hour on dry pavement and they seem to work quite well. The rest of my riding has been on wet roads in light mist to heavy downpour and they hold very well with only a little sliding on wet leaves. For anyone in Western Washington or Oregon I suggest you try these for winter riding.

Bridgestones Rock!

Took a chance when I bought these tires for my 10' BMW R1200 RT. I am a RC and so I put my tires through it all. Being an instructor I am either teaching sportbike or BRC classes. I put some awfully serious lean angles on these tires. They have not let me down yet. I have 7K miles+ on these tires and carry heavy loads. They are still not down to wear bars yet... I recommend these but they aren't cheap.

Good Tire, Good Value

I've only put a couple thousand miles on this tire so far, but it has good grip and stability on the highway. Haven't done any twisties yet. Just lots of commuting. But so far I'd buy it again. It's definitely a good value for the price.

BT023 - So far, Real Good

Purchased both BT023's front/rear to replace my stock set on my 650 Ninja. The stock BT020s gave me 17k miles with mildly spirited riding in the Pacific Northwest. I'm expecting more from these 23's with the multi-compound tread. Dry performance is excellent, great grip with added agility. Wet performance is good. Only 200 miles so far on these, but i'm not seeing any odd wear patterns. MCSS provided the FASTEST delivery too; ordered both online at 6PM PST and got both next day!! PROPS MCSS.

Great tire

I run BT-023's on my Kawasaki Versys. Depending on how I ride, I get 8000-10000 miles from a rear, and replace the front every other. I ride mostly straight line commutes during the week, 200-500 mile "twisties" most weekends. Probably won't bother trying another tire unless Bridgestone comes up with a version II of this one.

Great Tire

I have a V-Strom 650 and have always got good miles from the Battlewings. I ride mostly highway and wanted to try a street tire. 7000 miles on the rear and at least 4000 to go, with the BT o23. Ride two up about a third of the time. 40lbs. of air and it's a great feeling tire. Have another one waiting to go on. Now there is a 19" front and will be putting that on too. Superb for the street and not too bad on my dirt road. alot of sugar sand.

So far, so good!

So far so good. After break in these are working out nicely. I ride a TL1000R, a heavy and torquey bike and these have held up fairly well so far.

Best wet tyres I've ever had.

Most tyres good in the dry, but these excel in the wet! I commute year round, on nasty, cold, wet roads. lane-splitting (normal here), dodging cars, buses & jay-walkers. Tyres warm up fast, ignore banding/lines & stoppies in the rain. Out of town give you the confidence to crank & you find yourself pushing the rear too get a nice shimmie. They last 12k front & 9k rear (Hornet) 14k/10k (VFR) my riding is stop/start and I'm aggressive. Expensive in UK, front $195, rear $240.
