Pretty nice tires

These tires have suited me very well, now on my second set. I would recommend for anyone looking for a sporty touring tire. They do square off a bit at the very end of tread life, or perhaps I have to get over more.

great tire

Handles well in dry and wet conditions. I put a lot of miles on my bike and the tire so far is holding up very well. Put the tire on the rim myself with hardly any issues.

BRIDGESTONE BT-023

No complaints what so ever. Smooth, stable, and does a pretty good job cornering.

Good Handling; Not So Good Mileage

I think the BT-023 tires handle great but I only got about 6,000 miles out of the rear on my Yamaha FJR. The front is doing much better. I replaced the rear with another BT-023 and hope the front and rear wear out about the same time. I will probably replace them both with another brand.

Battlax BT-023 180/70/17 rear on my R1200ST

After 2,100 miles with about 10 hours of rain time, this tire is very strong. On I-5 during a 790 mile day, in a couple of rain storms with standing water at +/- 70mph it was very stable; impressive. In the canyons traction was very good and predictable. Second set of 023's and very happy with performance.

Not the best freeway tire, but good overall

I unfortunately did lots of freeway miles on this tire and it made a nice flat spot on the center. Not as many freeway miles as I hoped for, but overall a good tire.

Battlax BT-023

Love these. Have used Battlax for 10 yrs and have always been reliable in all road and weather conditions. Recently got an 05 FZ6 that was barely used, so the OEM Dunlops were still good. Decided to pull them and install the BT023's and glad I did. No comparison - instantly made the ride better. Hard to imagine buying anything else. Only ? is tread life - only 800 so far. That said, the dual compound is designed to extend tire life and I got 12k miles out of my last set of Battlax tires – solid.

Good so far

I seems to be a step up from their 021 tire. I hope that it lasts longer than the 3000 that I got out of the rear 021 and it seems that it might. I have not had it in the rain so I can't say how it works. The tire does feel good on my Honda Blackbird.

Ride with confidence

Motorcycle Superstore's pricing was $80 to $100 less than anyone else. Great ride, hugs the twisties and I never feel like I'm going to slide out. I have put over a 1000 miles and still look brand new.

Rear BT-023

I bought a set of these 2 years ago. They had just over 8000 miles when I picked up a large nail in the rear. There was probably 2000 miles of tread left. So this rear is new as of 3 weeks ago and I just got back from 2300 mile break in on the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Had a couple of hard rain storms and like the first one I'm very happy with the wet performance.

Great tires. Work well on my Kawasaki ZRX1200 (std. version) and the best tires I've tried on my Yamaha FJR1300 (GT Version). Excellent tread wear and good feedback from front tire.

Very good tire just doesn't last

Put one on my 03 yamaha fz1. Only got 2000 miles out of her. I do ride hard (no chicken strips here) and I ride the mountains all the time ( I live on the road to MT evens ) but I would think I could get more miles out of a tire. I wore them to bald in 1940 miles. Other than the wear these are some very good tires, grip the road well. After about 1000 miles the strait line stability was not as good because the tires had worn into a 45 from cornering.

Battle axe 023

I just received my third set of these tires. Great tire. I ride a 2008 CBR1000RR. If you liked the 020 tire you'll love these. Have fun and keep the shiny side-up.
